  1. It's Wednesday, and you know what that means... ToyFarce review! This week, we're having a look at the massive Batman: The Animated Series Man-Bat one sixth scale figure by Mondo. What a BEAST! I was blown away by how big the box was, and the figure definitely does justice to Dr. Langstrom's alter ego. The sculpt and paint are second to none, and it looks like it came right out of the screen. As mentioned in the intro, the box is HUGE, with beautiful art on it, as is tradition with Mondo. They make it really hard for us who usually get rid of the packaging, and I still have all the Batman: The Animated Series figure boxes that they did... Please, Mondo, make an ugly box next time! The box has 2 big inserts, one with the figure and extra heads, the other with the gigantic open wings of the SDCC Exclusive version. Man-Bat, aka Dr. Kirk Langstrom who developed a serum that turns him into a giant bat creature, is a fantastic, massive figure, especially for a 1/6 scale. The paint and sculpt are amazing, huge shout out to Alex Brewer (@fanplasticfour) and Tom Rozejowski (@zelu1984) and the rest of the team behind this beautiful figure. Man-Bat (SDCC version) comes with 4 extra head sculpts (normal, sad, screaming and mid-transformation), a torn shirt, the wide open wings and a batman symbol logo. It's a gorgeous figure, which will have me rethink the way I wanted to display it. The whole time I was thinking about displaying it with wings wide open (sing that to Creed's tune... With wiiiings wide opaaaahn!), but I gotta say that I love the crouching pose with bent wings... My only nitpicks are that it is quite "top heavy" also, so it's pretty difficult to pose him in a way that won't fall, and the stand included is a bit too long and won't allow for a crouching pose... Since he'll be on top of a Detolf, I have to find a 'secure' pose. Decisions, decisions... Another home-run from Mondo. The next figure in the Mondo Batman: The Animated Series 1/6 scale figure line is the Mask of the Phantasm (which is already on its way!). Review coming soon... More news at 11:00... "SCREEEEEEEEEEECH!" (actual Man-Bat quote)
  2. It's Wednesday, and you know what that means: ToyFarce review! This week, ToyFarce proudly presents the DC Multiverse Batman and Robin wave with Mr. Freeze build-a-fi... Collect-to-Build figure! This is a special one for ToyFarce, a review over 3 years in the making after 'leaking' that wave in 2021, everybody laughed, and look at us now... ToyFarce wished that wave into existence, and we couldn't be happier with the result! In January 2021, McFarlane was barely a year into the DC Multiverse line, and after seeing a few posts about 'leaks' of upcoming figures, we decided to post the most absurd list of 'leaked upcoming figures', which consisted of figures from Batman Forever and Batman and Robin, everyone's 2 favorite Batman movies. The reception was pretty great, with lots of collectors commenting that it was either totally fake, very wrong of them to do that, or that they would still buy them. Over the last 3 years, the article kept popping up every now and then on the internet, with collectors asking "Hey, is this still happening? When?". Fast forward to San Diego Comic Con 2023, when McFarlane Toys actually announced that wave. And now, they're here! There has been a few instances of ToyFarce articles ending up happening, but this is my favorite one! Batman, as portrayed by George Clooney, is a stunning figure. It's a darker version of the ones from the Batman Ultimate Movie Collection 6-pack, which already looked great. Batman comes with a couple of small ice freeze effects and the legs of Mr. Freeze. Sadly, no Bat credit card accessory! Robin, played by Chris O'Donnell, also looks great. He comes with 2 bigger ice freeze effects and the arms of Mr. Freeze. The likeness is pretty good, compared to the early DC Multiverse live action figures. Batgirl, portrayed by Alicia Silverstone, looks pretty good as well (perhaps better than the one in the movie?). She comes with Mr. Freeze's head, shoulder pads and freeze gun, with freezing effect! Poison Ivy, played by Uma Thurman, is the sleeper hit of that wave, I feel. The likeness is actually pretty good! She comes with Mr. Freeze's "trunk". There has been no words about if we can expect more, but there are definitely a few more characters or suits from that movie that would make great figures: the Ice Suits for Batman, Robin and Batgirl, Bane, a few other outfits for Poison Ivy (especially the Gorilla suit!). Looking forward to see those as Gold Label! More news at 11:00... Still crossing fingers for that Batman Forever wave we leaked as well!
  3. New McFarlane Toys gimmick alert! Yesterday, Todd McFarlane revealed the very cool upcoming McFarlane Toys Gamestop Exclusive DC Multiverse Batman Rebirth (Frostbite) Gold Label action figure (that's a mouthful...of ice!), a translucent blue Batman figure. ToyFarce got the exclusive scoop that this will not be the only figure with that gimmick, as there are plans to develop refreshing, tasty treats for next summer: the Bat-popsicles! An insider source revealed to us that this McFarlane Toys Gamestop Exclusive DC Multiverse Batman Rebirth (Frostbite) Gold Label (or MFTGEDCMBRFGL, if you will) is just a small taste of what's to come. There are plans to re-use the molds to make "super sexy Batman ice creams, Bat-popsicles, pow!", in Todd McFarlane's own words. The flavors should be Bat blue raspberry, Harley Quinn strawberry, Joker berry punch, Batgirl lemon, Riddler mint, Clayface cola and orange. These should be available in Q3 2024. Be careful not to get your tongue stuck! Alright, everyone... Chill! Which flavor are you looking forward the most? More news at 11:00... Mr Freeze would be so proud! *ToyFarce News is parody news for laughs and not meant to be taken seriously!
  4. It's Wednedsay, and you know what that means: ToyFarce review! This week, we're having a look at the Poison Ivy figure from the Batman: Hush line from MAFEX. The latest entry in that amazing line, Ivy was one I was really looking forward since she is one of my favorite villains in Batman's rogue gallery. Pamela Isley, aka Poison Ivy comes with an extra head, 7 extra hands, 2 suitcases (one open and one closed), a wad of cash, and several vine/plant pieces to add to the figure. The figure arrives 'nude', and you attach the vine/plant pieces on her to make her look more 'full'. It's a fun feature, and the vines look better on the figure than if they were just painted on her, but it does make her a bit trickier to pose/play with. They tend to fall off when you play with her articulations. Speaking of articulations, just like the Catwoman and Harley Quinn figures before her, it's a beautifully articulated figures (which could have used a thigh swivel, especially since it would have been covered with the vines, but one can only dream). The colors really pop and she definitely catches the eye when looking at that MAFEX Batman: Hush shelf, which is now 10 figures strong (11 if you count the black and grey Batman repaint)! Riddler and Scarecrow will be the next figures in that line, and we do not know yet if there will be more (I believe a Robin was rumored). My theory about MAFEX doing the same figures that DC Direct did 20 years ago is still valid (why else would they have done the Stealth Suit Batman otherwise?). That would leave Commissioner Gordon, Ra's Al Ghul and Alfred, which I highly doubt we'll get to ^^ More news at 11:00... "No man can resist me. Even Superman."
  5. James Gunn, the co-head of DC Studios, has confirmed that Matt Reeves is expanding The Batman universe and working on a series set within the new DC Universe. Gunn responded to fans on social media and shared that Reeves is producing an Arkham series, which takes place in the Batman universe. When asked about other projects in the "Batverse," Gunn confirmed that currently, there are only two projects: The Batman: Part II and the Penguin series, in addition to the Arkham series. Gunn praised Reeves as a director and producer, mentioning that he will be involved in storytelling within his own Batman universe and the broader DCU. Gunn clarified that the Arkham series was always intended to be part of the DCU, not the Elseworlds alternate universe. He also revealed that the concept for the Arkham series was one of the first pitches they bought when he and Peter Safran joined the project. Source: Deadline
  6. It's Wednesday, and you know what that means: ToyFarce review! This week, we're having a look at the Batman: The Animated Series Condiment King wave from McFarlane Toys/DC Direct, or basically, the Condiment King figure with its 4 'other figures' accessories. Spoiler: this is not going to be a nice review, those figures are not great. Sadly, they look and feel like bootleg versions of the original ones. The packaging is pretty nice, has a very retro feel, with drawings from the series on the side (which look nothing like the figures in the packaging, but I digress...). The whole point of that wave was the build-a-figure, which is the only new release. As an completist (or in other words, an idiot), I got the wave because I wanted the new figure. They were fairly easy to get, I ordered them on Target's website and they arrived a few weeks later. First, the caped crusader himself, Batman. Honestly, this figure is quite terrible. The shiny plastic and the look of it make it feel like a bootleg version of the original DC Collectibles figures. They used the body of the Batman figure that came with the Batcycle (and sold the figure and the Batcycle separately this time around... Yay!), which has a god awful ab-crunch, and used a different head, I believe (which looks more like the New Adventures of Batman head sculpt). It looks clunky, doesn't articulate well, and the right leg broke as I got it out of the box (it's holding up with blutac on the pictures). It comes with 5 extra hands, his grapnel launcher, a batarang, and the Condiment King's arms. I understand that we need Batman on the shelves for people to get in the line, but we've already had 4 re-issues of that one from DC Collectibles (+ the Batcycle one), so this mash-up of all figures doesn't really make sense. Also, the cel shading looks very bad. Robin, the boy wonder, also feels like an unofficial version of the original DC Collectibles figure. Shiny plastic, the cape is not even painted yellow on the inside... What is going on, McFarlane Toys? Robin comes with 5 extra hands, a rubber bola and the Condiment King's legs. Just like the old figure, he has articulations but doesn't move well. This figure was already released twice (and DC Direct did the cel shading a lot better), so apart from getting the Condiment King parts, there is also no point for it. Mr Freeze is another figure that was released a few times before. It wasn't the best figure in the old Batman: the Animated series line, and it still isn't today. The colors are a bit off, and very shiny. They used the same rubber parts on the joints like the old figure, which disintegrate fast, sadly. Mr Freeze was first released in the GCPD Rogue's Gallery set, and was available later as an individual release, so this one is the third one. He comes with 8 extra hands, his freeze gun and the Condiment's King backpack with ketchup and mustard guns. Finally, the Scarecrow. Well, it's not the worst of the wave, I guess. He does look like a very shiny copy of the original one. He comes with 2 hands, an unmasked head and a scythe, just like the old figure did, as well as the whole bust and head of the Condiment King (who separated the build-a-figure? I feel like it's really uneven. One gets a backpack, the other gets half a body). The Jonathan Crane head has less paint on it than the original release. Alright, so... after going through so much, you'd think the Condiment King figure will be worth it, right? Well... eh. The figure looks cool, despite the bad cel shading, but the legs on mine were really loose (nothing that a drop of super glue before moving the joints in every direction didn't fix, but still...). It's slightly bigger than the other figures in the line too, so it doesn't scale really well. I guess there can't only be great figures. Sometimes, you're gonna pick something and gonna be disappointed. That's the life of a collector! More news at 11:00... "Ah, the big bad Bat-guy. I knew you'd ketchup to me sooner or later! How I've relished this meeting!"
  7. A recreation of the Batmobile causing havoc in the Axis Chemical factory from the Batman89 film.
  8. SHOCKING REVELATION! During a recent interview with Spawn, we asked what led to the return of a Spawn line of action figures in 2021, and it turns out it was... jealousy? Spawn action figures had been a staple of McFarlane Toys since the very beginning, so when they got the DC Comics license and started to produce more Batman figures than Spawn, something had to be done! During a recent interview with Spawn, we talked about the 90's, when Spawn was one of the biggest things in the world of comic books, selling millions of issues, but also in action figures and collectibles, with the launch of McFarlane Toys (which was called 'Todd Toys' at the time). "I have very fond memories of that period. People knew I was the G.O.A.T. Comics, animated series, a movie, action figures... You couldn't go to any comic book store without seeing Spawn." From 1994 to 2008, over 34 waves of Spawn action figures were produced. It would then take years before we would see another Spawn action figures... "Those were dark times, to say the least. Some say I, Spawn, had saturated the market, and it was just a good business decision to lay low for a while. There had been too many Spawn figures..." Enter DC Comics: In late 2019, McFarlane Toys announced that they acquired the DC Comics license and would produce action figures of acclaimed DC superheroes, starting in 2020. "That's where it started to bug me... In January 2020, McFarlane Toys announced the first wave of DC Multiverse figures. In that first wave, there were already 3 Batman figures (4 if you count the Batman who Laughs!). Then another wave was announced, with another Batman. Then another..." In March 2020, the first Spawn figure in years was announced as part of the Mortal Kombat 11 line. "I had to come back, but I had to be smart about it. I had to test the waters first... but after 3 different releases of that same figure, with different weapons, we knew it was time". McFarlane Toys would then announce a return to Spawn, with a Kickstarter campaign of the very first Original Spawn figure REMASTERED... followed later by a new line of Spawn action figures. "You see, Todd was making too many Batman figures... and I took that personally". Even though there are still tons of Batman figures being produced, there are now tons of Spawn figures being produced as well. Since the first figure, we have had several different flavors of the Mortal Kombat Spawn, a Gunslinger Spawn, a Mandarin Spawn, a Ninja Spawn, a Spawn with a throne, a Nightmare Spawn, an Omega Spawn,... and soon a King Spawn! "We even buried the hatchet with Batman and a comic book and an action figure 2-pack came out! Everything is as it should be." More news at 11:00... The Last Spawn. *ToyFarce News is parody news for laughs and not meant to be taken seriously!
  9. It's Wednesday, and you know what that means: ToyFarce review! This week, we're having a look at the brand new Harley Quinn 1/6 scale figure from the Batman: The Animated Series line by Mondo. This line has been pretty awesome so far, and Harley Quinn is another homerun. The deeper we get into that line, the better it gets! As is tradition, the box is one of those boxes that you just can't throw away. They're also pretty big, so you have to have some space to store them (thanks, Mondo...). The front of the box opens to reveal a window, with velcro (which used to be magnets). This is the timed edition of the figure, which has a few bonus items, including the hyenas. There are 2 levels of inserts. Harleen Quinzel, aka Harley Quinn comes with a ton of fun accessories: 4 extra heads (including an unmasked one), 4 extra pairs of hands, her 2 hyenas Bud and Lou, with their bowl, a steak and a bone, a hammer, a joker scepter, a handbag, a mannequin arm, Batman's belt, Batman's handcuffs, her purse, a bottle of poison perfume and a certificate that declares her sane. This set is really close to be the 12-inch version of the DC Collectibles Expression set, minus the fish outfit, a couple of firearms and a few heads. The heads are relatively easy to change, the pegs on the hands are slightly too short, with the hands getting out of the pegs easily if you move the figure around too much. The Hyenas have no articulation at all, which is a bit sad. A neck articulation at least would have made them slightly better. The articulation is way better than Mondo's previous Catwoman figure, and Harley can definitely move a bit better. The next 1/6 scale Batman: The Animated Series figures from Mondo are Man-Bat and the Phantasm from Mask of the Phantasm (both were already pre-ordered with the quickness). More news at 11:00... RIP Arleen Sorkin
  10. Next up for my McFarlane Super Powers collection is Nightwing.(in the outfit the way that I hoped we would get.) Love that disco flare. Made from a McFarlane Flash base and Nightwing head, Marvel Universe Morbius collar, and a lot of hours on the paint. I hope you enjoy this, and as always, More to come.
  11. When it was announced that we would be getting a Tim Drake Robin in the McFarlane Super Powers line, I hoped it would be this version of the suit. But since it wasn't, I decided to make my own. Using the McFarlane Super Powets Robin as a base, Hush Batman belt, and head from my fodder bin. I cobbled together this. The cape is from the Batman Returns figure, and is just a place holder until I order a proper Batman styled double sided cape from the one and only, Capemaster. Hope you enjoy this take, and hit the like button if you do. As always, more to come.
  12. Next up for my McFarlane Super Powers collection is Mr.Freeze, yes I know this figure was already done in the original line, and a better version was put out a few years later from Tot Biz, but I never liked that design and preferred the look from the Animated series. So. I took inspiration from that and made my own version of the cold villain. Hope you enjoy this, and if you do press the "like" button and leave a comment. As always, more to come.
  13. Next up, for your viewing pleasure (hopefully) is "Killer Moth". Made from a McFarlane Super Powers Flash, some apoxie sculpt for the helmet, gloves from Deathstroke, and lastly, wings come from the Spinmasters figure.
  14. Using the new Detective Batman from McFarlane's wave four Super Powers line, I decided to redo his first Batman "Hush" figure using in my opinion a much superior mold. Just repainted rem9ved the belt, and had a friend make the logo on their crikut. I hope you enjoy this, and as always, More to come.
  15. It's Wednesday and you know what that means: ToyFarce review! This week, we're having a look at some recent McFarlane Toys figures: the DC Multiverse Batman and Spawn two-pack, and the BigBadToyStore Exclusive Spawn Universe Spawn (Black and White Accent Edition). I hesitated to even open these, since they kinda looked cool in their respective boxes, but I have no space to display them in the boxes either, so had to #LetEmBreathe! First, the DC Multiverse Batman and Spawn two-pack. Fresh off the heels of the (slightly disappointing) Batman/Spawn crossover comic book that came out in december last year, McFarlane Toys announced a two-pack, which makes complete sense, since they have the DC license and own Spawn. It's as if the comic book just existed to sell action figures... *mindblown* The 2 figures are pretty good, considering there is a plethora of Batman and Spawn figures, and they could have picked worse ones. My only issue with the 2 pack is the Batman screaming head, which makes it look like he just stubbed his toe really hard constantly. A second head with a more 'standard' expression would have been welcome (even one we already have). Batman comes with 2 extra hands and a batarang, and Spawn comes with a huge sword. Also included are a backdrop with a base to hold it, along with 2 trading cards and 2 stands (one DC and one Spawn). The Batman figure re-uses the body of the Year 2 figure, I believe, with a different cape and head, while the Spawn is the same as the one as the throne set one, with a way better cape. The Spawn Universe Spawn (Black and White Accent Edition), which is limited to 3000 and was exclusive to BigBadToyStore was a total impulse buy. I didn't really have a need for a "How it feels to chew 5 gums" edition of Spawn, but I was browsing the internet when it dropped, saw that it was limited, succumbed to FOMO and grabbed it, and it was shipped really soon after. It comes in a special 'collector' box with great art on the back. The figure comes with chain accessories, a collectible art card with a stand, and a stand for the figure. The figure uses the same mold as the Mortal Kombat Shadow of Spawn figure, but only using black with green 'accents' (there's not really any white on the figure, so not sure why it's called black and white accent...). I'll admit it looks really cool. It has a great shelf presence. The chains can be attached in his back, under the cape, to flow freely on the sides. The only thing that would have made that figure a complete win would if the green highlights glowed in the dark. More news at 11:00... Spawn and Batman brooding over the city contest, coming soon!
  16. It's Wednesday and you know what that means: ToyFarce review! This week, we're having a look at the Riddler Puzzle Box by Edward Nigma from McFarlane Toys/DC Direct. Something different this week! When this was announced, I thought "Cool, props!", thinking it would look a bit like something out of the Arkham video game series. Unfortunately, it wasn't like that...but it's still a Riddler themed puzzle box! The box arrived a bit smashed, but there was enough protection inside for the box to be fine. The Riddler Puzzle Box by Edward Nigma is a big cube, with puzzles on 4 of its sides (bottom and 'back' of the box don't have much). It's pretty sturdy and looks fun on a shelf, especially open or with a McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse Arkham City The Riddler action figure next to it (available now!). Now, I'm gonna try to solve it, but if you do not want to be spoiled about the content of the box, you'll have to skip the next few parts! First, I turned the dial on the little door and the door opened (it has a flat side, so it opens when you get it on the right position). Inside, there was a piece of batarang (1 out of 3), 2 plastic cards and a note. The 2 cards have parts of a question mark drawn on them, and if you align them in the right position, you can fit them in the card slot next to the little door. I did that, and am not sure if it did anything! Yay! On the side with the 4 buttons, the button that has the highlighted question mark can be pushed, and it pushes out the first button. I have yet to figure out what that button/key that came out can be used for, but at least, I got a button/key! The top part has one of the squares (the middle one) that can be removed, and if you push the remaining squares up, you unveil a button! Push it and the top part opens: 2 notes and another part of the Batarang are inside! For the last part, with the key pad, I first tried to enter the 'year when the bat got his start', as mentioned in the notes found in the top part, and it did nothing. The other card said 'To continue, you'll need to phone some friends. Forget the bats, call the birds and a cat and start with your oldest friend first. Success is just a few clicks away!'... It didn't help much, but that last sentence kinda gave a clue, since I noticed when I pushed 4, there is a click sound. I pushed it a few more times, and a drawer opened at the back of the box, with the third and final part of the Batarang, and a note saying congratulations and to place everything back where you found them for others to try to solve it (I forgot to take a picture of that one. My bad!). You can now assemble your Batarang, which is kinda nice, made of metal, with a bit of weight to it. In the end, I am not entirely sure that I did everything the way it was intended (like the key pad part, where I just pressed the same button until it opened... there might be a more 'clever' way to solve that). It's fun for 5-10 minutes, but once you've solved it once, it kind of loses its novelty. At least, it looks good on a shelf. If you're planning to get it, I would wait to get it on sale, because $99.99 is a bit much for what it is. More news at 11:00... Riddle me this, riddle me that. Who is afraid of the big black bat?
  17. Celebrate the 30th anniversary of the most universally acclaimed film in the Dark Knight’s legendary cinematic history when the newly-remastered animated movie Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, comes to 4K Ultra HD for the very first time. From Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment, the film will be available to purchase on 4K Ultra HD on September 12, 2023. The release will also include an all-new featurette Kevin Conroy: I Am The Knight, which takes a look at the legacy of Kevin Conroy, who voiced Batman for 30 years in film, television, video games, and more. Rooted in DC’s acclaimed Batman: The Animated Series and released theatrically on Christmas Day 1993, Batman: Mask of the Phantasm has not only been ranked by Time magazine as one of the 10 best Super Hero movies ever but is also arguably the core fans’ all-time favorite Batman film. The movie has been rated at the top of the Dark Knight film franchise by such popular entertainment media as Empire, Screenrant, and Paste. And in the ultimate mainstream salute for its time, Gene Siskel & Robert Ebert didn’t initially review the film during its theatrical release, but later dedicated a portion of their At The Movies weekly TV series to pay compliments to the film – and voice their regret for not giving it the attention it deserved during its original run – when Batman: Mask of the Phantasm was distributed for home entertainment. The 4K HDR/SDR remaster of Batman: Mask of the Phantasm was sourced from the 1993 Original Cut Camera Negative and was scanned at 4K resolution. The digital restoration was applied to the 4K scans to remove dirt, scratches, and additional anomalies, but special care was given to not touch the film grain or the animation cel dirt that was part of the original artwork. This is the first time since its theatrical release that it is presented in its 1.85 aspect ratio. The original 2.0 mix and the 5.1 tracks were remastered to remove or improve defects such as pops, ticks, dropouts, and distortion. The animated film features an all-star cast headed by the quintessential voice of Batman, Kevin Conroy, alongside Dana Delany (Desperate Housewives, China Beach) as Bruce Wayne’s love interest, Andrea Beaumont, Mark Hamill (Star Wars franchise) as the Joker, Stacy Keach (Nebraska, Prison Break, Mike Hammer) as Phantasm/Carl Beaumont, Abe Vigoda (Barney Miller, The Godfather) as Salvatore Valestra, Efrem Zimbalist Jr. (The F.B.I.) as Alfred, Hart Bochner (Die Hard) as Arthur Reeves, Bob Hastings (McHale’s Navy, The Poseidon Adventure) as Commissioner Gordon, Robert Costanzo (Forget Paris, City Slickers) as Detective Bullock, Dick Miller (Gremlins, The Terminator) as Chuckie Sol, and John P. Ryan (The Right Stuff) as Buzz Bronski. Additional voices included Pat Musick, Marilu Henner, Neil Ross, Ed Gilbert, Jeff Bennett, Jane Downs, Vernee Watson, Charles Howerton, Thom Pinto, and Peter Renaday. The Batman: Mask of the Phantasm filmmaking team is composed of the award-winning core group behind Batman: The Animated Series. Eric Radomski and Bruce Timm directed the film from a screenplay by Alan Burnett, Paul Dini, Martin Pasko, and Michael Reaves, based on a story by Burnett. Batman: Mask of the Phantasm will be available on September 12, 2023, to purchase Digitally from Amazon Prime Video, AppleTV, Google Play, Vudu, and more. 4K Ultra HD Discs will be available to purchase online and in-store at major retailers. Pre-order your copy now. SYNOPSIS: Batman: Mask of the Phantasm opens with the city's most feared gangsters being systematically eliminated, and assumed blame falling on the Caped Crusader. But prowling Gotham Night is a shadowy new villain, the Phantasm, a sinister figure with some link to Batman's past. Can the Dark Knight elude the police, capture the Phantasm and clear his name? Unmasking the Phantasm is just one of the twists in this dazzling animated feature, which provides new revelations about Batman's past, his archrival the Joker, and Batman's most grueling battle ever - the choice between his love for a beautiful woman and his vow to be the defender of right. SPECIAL FEATURES INCLUDE*: Kevin Conroy: I Am The Knight (New Featurette) – For 30 years, Kevin Conroy defined Batman for multiple generations using only his voice, best exemplified in the landmark film Batman: Mask of the Phantasm. Conroy passed away in November 2022, but his legacy lives on in 15 films, nearly 400 episodes of animated television series, a dozen video games, and as a live-action Bruce Wayne in the Arrowverse’s 2019-2020 “Crisis on Infinite Earths” crossover event.
