  1. Yesterday (Feb 1st, 2024) marked the 60th anniversary of G.I.Joe, and Hasbro celebrated by revealing new figures throughout the day, which caused a lot of commotion all over the globe. Chaos and mayhem ensued. Could Cobra have been involved in this? ToyFarce investigated. Reveals of upcoming, long awaited G.I.Joe Classified Series figures, such as Doc, Torch, Tiger Force versions of Roadblock and Tripwire, Nightcreeper, Jinx, and Dreadnok Gnawgahyde, complete with a warthog and a macaque, happened throughout the day as the G.I.Joe license turned 60 (Only a few more years before retirement!) and brightened the day of countless toy collectors. A source reported to ToyFarce that those reveals ended up having terrible consequences, as productivity was ruined in several workplaces, multiple car accidents were reported all over the globe (do not "toy reveals and drive", please), and relationships became tense as significant others got jealous over their partner's excitement throughout the day. Cobra, who are known for their nefarious plans involving anything G.I.Joe, have denied replying to our requests, but is most certainly rejoicing over the chaos and mayhem inadvertently caused by G.I.Joes yesterday. Special thanks to our source, Wreckship_85, for the tip/suggestion! More news at 11:00... Yo, 60 years old Joe! *ToyFarce News is parody news for laughs and not meant to be taken seriously!
  2. Last year, when a certain previous Haslab project was announced, numerous collectors became toy car experts overnight, and the sales of the Bratz Rock Angelz Cruiser car suddenly went through the roof. This year, after the announcement of the Hasbro Haslab G.I. Joe Classified Series G.I. Joe Assault Copter Dragonfly (XH-1), there was not really any impact on the sales of the Barbie Helicopter with Spinning Rotors, Pink and Blue 2-Seater Design with Seatbelts and Pilot "Controls". What happened? ToyFarce investigated... ToyFarce sat down with a collector that was preparing his next Youtube video: "The Barbie Helicopter is going to be the next big thing, you can mark my words! Grab them before they're gone! Remember how the Bratz car DESTROYED the sales of the Haslab car last year? The Barbie Helicopter is going to do just that! If you just paint it green, it looks exactly the same, and the Barbie team was able to do that for $22.99!! Ha! Take that, HaSbLoW!". "Since I build my entire fanbase talking trash about the previous Haslab, I still need to mention it in every of my videos. Sometimes, I have to shoe-horn it a little, like "Hey, here is a new Masters of the Universe figure, which costs $25... NOT LIKE THE ENGINE OF VENGEANCE, AMIRITE GUYS?". It's great that there is a new Haslab now, because I can make comparisons: You see, one was a vehicle that came with 4 figures, and it was bad. This new one is a vehicle that comes with 4 figures, but it's good! HA!" Check out the Hasbro Haslab G.I. Joe Classified Series G.I. Joe Assault Copter Dragonfly (XH-1) here! More news at 11:00... And making up stuff is the other half of the battle! *ToyFarce News is parody news for laughs and not meant to be taken seriously!
  3. Over the last few weeks, the G.I.Joe Team has been teasing their next Haslab project via encrypted communiqués, telling that the G.I.Joes are aware of the impending arrival of the Cobra H.I.S.S. Tank and that they should deploy a certain 'Operation XXXXXXXXXXXXX' of their own to counter it. The messages had been rather secretive until now, when other types of communiqués started to appear on our feeds... The first suspicious encrypted message came from Roadblock, the heavy machine gunner of the team, whose second function is also as a cook. He shared a recipe for lasagna through that channel, which several assumed that it was coded message and probably meant something else. Haslab G.I. Joe Lasagna Kitchen confirmed?! The second message came from Snake Eyes, which was very chatty, as usual... Some other members of the team also shared memes, via the channel... It wasn't long until someone noticed that and sent a warning message. Do you think those could be clues to confuse Cobra? Let us know in the comments! More news at 11:00... and knowing the recipe is half the battle! *ToyFarce News is parody news for laughs and not meant to be taken seriously!
  4. Ever since the first wave of G.I.Joe Classified Series was released, G.I.Joe fans from the 90's have been anticipating the return of their favorite figures. An insider source (wink wink) told us that we might not have to wait for too long anymore... Neon-color fans, it's about to get weird: Introducing G.I.Joe: DeClassified Series! The 90's for G.I.Joe is usually synonymous with very bright colors, that would be absolutely counter-productive in a battle situation (neon yellow is not a great military camouflage color), along with other figures that looked like they came straight out of a fever dream, like the Mega Monsters, big creatures with weird features (one, Monstro Viper, would have a mold in his stomach in which you could use play doh to make "gut bombs", which he could then throw with his spring-loaded arm, and the other, Bio-Viper, had a mantis head, and 4 tentacles à la Doctor Octopus. I kid you not). Fast forward to 2022, and we're right in the middle of a great revival of G.I.Joe figures, with the Classified Series line. Of course, we first had to wait that all the main characters were out or announced, but now that we've been through most of the big names, it might be the perfect time to revisit that weird era, with the Mega Marines faction and their neon-color uniforms, along with the Monsters that they fight! Here is a mock-up of what the Mega Marine Gung-Ho would look like. Bask in his neon-yellow glory! More news at 11:00... Yo neon-color Joe! *ToyFarce News is parody news for laughs and not meant to be taken seriously!
  5. Haven't posted on here before, but I thought I would start by sharing a look at some of my collection.
  6. It's been a tough week for all in-box collectors, as ToyFarce has received multiple reports of the new Retro G.I.Joe Classified Series figures being sent by Walmart in unpadded envelopes. And when it's not an unpadded envelope, it's a box that is too small, so the person that took care of the preparation of the shipment just folded the precious retro card so that it fits. After getting tons of complaints from consumers that ordered action figures from them, Walmart has decided that they have had enough, and might just slap the shipping labels directly on the figures going forward! "If we slap the sticker directly on it, the courier will then see that it's an action figure with a nice packaging, so he would be more careful when loading his truck, to make sure that the packaging wouldn't be damaged", a representant of Walmart told ToyFarce. "We had a business study case on this, and that is the conclusion that experts in the domain have found in order for the packagings to remain intact for collectors who order figures from us. We hope this will satisfy everyone involved." "We will suggest 3 options when you get to the checkout. Option A with the sticker in the front, on the card; Option B with the sticker on the plastic bubble or Option C with the sticker on the back of the card.", they added. "In an effort to do what's right, the customers will be able to choose how they want the sticker on their packaging. Yo Joe!" More news at 11:00... "And if it's still an issue for some, we will start sending the figures loose!" *ToyFarce News is parody news for laughs and not meant to be taken seriously!
  7. On Wednesday, Hasbro held a G.I.Joe Hasbro Pulse Fan Stream on Youtube, with tons of reveals, announcements and even teases (Haslab coming soon?). Out of all those reveals, one would start a chain of event that would see Target 'out-Target-ed' by collectors! ToyFarce investigated. "Usually, it is Target that sends a message to their customers telling them that their order was cancelled, out of the blue, not the other way around!" said a Target representative. If you were to watch the minute-by-minute statistics of the Hasbro Pulse G.I.Joe livestream, you would see that after they announced the action figure of Outback in his original outfit, the traffic on Target's website suddenly increased, as collectors went to cancel their Target Exclusive Tiger Force Outback orders. "It took us by complete surprise! We were still busy cancelling orders on other NECA and McFarlane Toys items, and didn't expect Hasbro to cause this." Now, let's just hope that the Outback in his original costume figure doesn't end up as a Target exclusive as well... More news at 11:00... And cancelling is half the battle! *ToyFarce News is parody news for laughs and not meant to be taken seriously!
