  1. It did? I thought it was 5? I have the set but honestly haven't looked at it since I bought it! I'll have to check again..
  2. Okay since we got the news that reissue #20 is gonna be a second Minibots set, I wanna see who everyone thinks will be in it. We'll see who can come the closest. My guess for the set of 6 is: Brawn Cliffjumper Windcharger Seaspray Beachcomber Wheelie Now then who do you all think will be in it?
  3. Didn't mean to sound angry guys. Just politely stating that we should appreciate the time he takes to do these threads thats all. As for putting them all in one thread....thats a dial-up nightmare!
  4. If we are able to do that synch, then yes it would be well worth it.
  5. I understand that Spearhead, but what if the other things suck? I mean how much insider info can they cram in the mag that can't be found for free online? All I'm saying is if someone is not interested in the other things, then yeah its basically 40 bones for the toy. I really do see some of your points and hopefully there will be the option of buying more exclusives through them, or something else to make the membership fee less of an issue.
  6. Can you guys be any more rude? @smilepunch@ He's showing us a nice collection and pics, give him some credit. #US1# By the way nice pics man. I always enjoy your collection pics. Still need Blitzwing myself, but he'll be here soon. #US1#
  7. He looks kinda neat, but 40 bones is alot just for that........
  8. Hmmm. Not sure what to make of it. I may get him, but since I only have one Alt at this point, I have lots of others I need first. Definately will not be shelling out for a BT version. They should have called him Overcharge or Supercharger instead of...that.
  9. I have the reissue Hoist and as far as those rectangles are concerned, its probably best just to leave them off. They go on his shoulders but are a true pain in the arse as they always fall off. As far as the bio cards go, well I think Hoist is the only Hasbro one to have them.
  10. First ones I ever got were the Ultra Magnus and Hot Rod that Takara did in the retro boxes. man that was like 4 years ago! Dang! By the time I found anyone selling the original convoy reissue, it was sold out. Not to mention no cheaper than $200.00 which was way outta my price range. I remember I got HR and Mags from BBTS. I sold them a full set of loose and a couple carded visionaries figures, which back then were not selling for crap. I actually ended up paying like $25.00 for them after the trade. I remember getting them and it was like I was 5 again! I used to have Magnus as a kid but never Roddy. Always wanted him and 15 years later I got him. Hey, better late than never! #US1#
  11. You know thats not a bad idea. I always loved the name Octane, it just sounded so cool and fit perfectly with machines!
  12. Motormaster had a cool voice in G1 one too. Too bad after season 2 he really wasn't featured too much.
  13. I guess it depends on which Prime you are referring. If it was the Big Convoy, then no. If you mean RID Scourge, then yes I would have to agree. I think both names are great, but yeah Motormaster for the RID one would have been the shizzle.
  14. The reason it was rushed is because it was originally planned to be a 5 parter, but Hasbro squeaked up and had it chopped down. The one writer David Wise I believe, said so in an interview. Anyways, I always like watching it, but yeah at times it kinda seemed like a commercial. However, if you think about it, how are they supposed to introduce so many new characters and make it not seem at all like one? Kinda tough. I don't think it was totally like one and actually had a decent story behind it. A nice ending.
  15. Well you got me stumped. I wish I could help.
  16. Are their prices in Canadian? Cuz some of the prices are kind of on the high side. @Smoke2@ I don't think so but I'm not sure. You may have to ask Pogoman about all that. This is the first pre-order I have ever placed with them so I'm new at this too.
  17. Not sure what you mean exactly, but I have a 1985 one that seesm to be the same size as the others. I know the one from 84 is small, is that maybe the one you are thinking of?
  18. I agree the car they chose looks a bit geeky. Still okay just not great.
  19. I would use Shoppertron just to check out some prices, but as for me its animepunch baby!
  20. Honestly he doesn't look that bad. I mean he is mistransformed to all hell, but he looks pretty decent. The ideal situation would have been a repaint of Smokescreen with some remolds, but this looks okay. Not totally cool, but it does look like Prowl.
  21. Exactly. At some point a company has to say, well we are draining our market, maybe we should ease up. Thats TRU for ya. Hasbro is not really to blame here as far as prices go, but maybe they shouldn't have sold it exclusively to TRU.
  22. What the hell? I just read over at animepunch that he got this response on February 4th. HERE
  23. I'm glad I got mine for around 30 shipped when it first came out. This is so odd though, because this set was relatively unpopular when it was first released. I remember stores couldn't give them away and they were always marked down. Just goes to show that you can't predict squat with reissues.
  24. This is great news! It blew me away this afternoon when I found out via BBTS's email newsletter. I wasn't expecting Takara to announce #19 until Soundblaster was about to be released, but what a nice surprise! I wasn't even thinking about Perceptor being next, but bammo! I'll be getting him when he comes out as I love the character. I also remember a few people here wishing for a Perceptor reissue so you guys gotta be happy!
