    Know Your Joe!

The Viper you're referring to would be the old window washer that inadvertently tricked the Joe's into thinking he was a Cobra agent. It's a great episode.

    Know Your Joe!

I'm stumped. The only thing I can think of is that the last names of the Dreadnoks as listed on their file cards are, Tom Winken(Torch), Dick Blinken( Buzzer), and Harry Nod(Ripper), an allusion to The Fishermen Three which is a children's nursery ryhme. (This info was researched from the The Ultimate Guide to GI Joe 1982-1994 by Mark Bellomo) Anyways ARROW, I'm not sure if that's the info you're looking for because you mentioned the answer was two parts. Hmm...
  3. It contributes to the disintegration of our society.

    Know Your Joe!

Could it be Clayton Abernathy? I'm pretty sure. He's even has his last name printed on the jacket of his 25th Anniversary figure, although I didn't need to look. However, I can't remember what H.A.V.O.C. stands for.
  5. The Defiant! I've had this since childhood, I got it for Christmas one year. It's been in my parent's basement for years and needs a good cleaning as well as replacing a few broken pieces. It still rocks the $h!t though!
  6. Here's some '86 figures all posed together, which for some is their favorite year. I think mine is still 1985, that's the year I really got into GI Joe as a kid. Next are the mail away exclusive figures: Super Trooper, William 'The Fridge' Perry, and Sgt Slaughter! Last of this bunch are some 1987 movie figures runnin' around the Defiant. If you look closely, you may see Hardtop sitting through the yellow window.
  7. Here are more shots including a pic of the canine division of GI Joe along with Bowzer and Blitz again from the Cops N Crooks line. I know the scale is off, but for some reason it doesn't bother me.
  8. Thanks for the kind words you guys, here's some more pics! Now this next shot is a comparison pic between GI Joe and Cops N Crooks, which was produced by Hasbro back in 1988 and 1989(I think). For some reason lately I've wanted to display toys made from the same company together(i.e.- Visionaries and GI Joe, or Transformers, Battle Beasts, and the Inhumanoids). So this picture features SAW Viper along with Buttons McBoomboom, a cyborg gangster from the future who had twin machine guns housed within his chest. Always a cool concept imo. Sorry for the blurry pic btw.

    walmart ares wave

They might be restocked as Christmas draws closer. I've seen the whole wave at three different Wal Marts in the upstate NY area, each within twenty miles of each other. The first two were stocked up at the beginning of the month, and the third about a week or two ago. I think/hope they keep getting restocked for everyone because it is an awesome wave. Good luck!
  10. Actually, what I said makes perfect sense. And I'm having kind of a tough time reading the rest of your post because of the grammatical and spelling errors...no offense. From what I can discern, however, you are claiming that it's okay to talk about anything GI Joe since this is a GI Joe forum. The forum is broken down into different threads each one discussing a particular topic. If you want to talk about when the new action figures come out, you wouldn't do it in the thread started for bad mouthing Ebayers. If everyone talked about any random aspect of GI Joe in every thread, if would be difficult to carry on a conversation about anything! Don't feel slighted or that your stepping on toes, just follow the simple rules of the forum and you'll be okay.
  11. It's not sensitivity, it's a case of "a place for everything and everything in it's place". Your post had nothing to do with the topic, that's why it got moved. I'm sure there's another topic started for the DVD boxed sets, you could ask there.
  12. This next shot illustrates not only do I go after uncut file cards because of the awesome artwork, but I now collect packaging that has been opened and had the bubble still attached. I try and maintain as much of the original integrity as possible. It's sick, I know, but I accept it and mire myself deep in toy collecting. More to come!
  13. So I finally got my toy room set up, it's something I've wanted to do for years. I still need to put up more shelves, not only for GI Joe, but for other toys I collect. Anyways enjoy!
  14. Haven't seen the A-Wing yet, but my closest WM got in the Gunship and more BMF Falcons.
  15. Tom, that's a great idea! Okay I'll start: This GI Joe's real name is Eric Freistadt, and was one of the original thirteen Joe's. And why IS djlism all hot and bothered. Who cares?!
  16. I found all of wave one at a Toys R Us in Queensbury, NY about a week ago. When does wave 2 come out?
  17. I'm glad to see that lldj-whats his face offends other people with his ignorance, and it's not just me. This is almost as bad (and I hesitate to say it) as Evilstar's posts.
  18. Haven't seen wave 10 in the wild yet, but I did get my Croc Master and Mutt and Junkyard from HTS.com. These two figures are awesome! I also saw the FANG and Claw set the other day at Wal Mart but passed, those pilots look pretty bad.
  19. Great idea! Let's bug Hasbro for some GOTG!
  20. I stopped at two Targets last week: one had a couple of Black Spidey's and a variant Wolverine, and the other Target had almost the whole wave minus Union Jack and Spiral. It's good to see Target restocking this exclusive wave.
  21. I used it today to pick up Croc Master, Mutt and Junkyard, and pre ordered Matt Trakker, Airborne, and Cobra Eel. Thanks for the tip!
  22. I'd love to see a New Warriors wave, or box set, or whatever. I started collecting comics, and NW, in 1990 so they have a special place in my heart. I'd love to see the original team in action figure form. I'd also love to see the 90's Guardians of the Galaxy (in which a future version of Marvel Boy was a member of), Darkhawk, and Sleepwalker. We've already gotten Deathlok and Ghost Rider, who were also launched in 1990, where's the rest?!
  23. I think it's amusing that every time someone complains about not being able to find something, or in this case the ability to find something, it is because of the dreaded scalper. The scourge of the toy aisle! Y'know there are other collectors out there that may be buying up the toys you're looking for, or even...GASP...children. Y'know, kids, whom the market is geared towards.
