    Look, I love Mattel for the work they have done over the years and for the unforgettable childhood memories they have provided, but this relaunch smacks of desperation. It feels like they have stopped and started the line several times over the last few years with no particular direction in sight. Just make MOTU figures and hope fully people will buy them. And if the first attempt fails, just try it again with a slightly different head sculpt. Mattel's MOTU relaunches is the DC movie universe of toys.

    This kind of reminds me of a Hasbro exclusive 3 3/4 in. Vader that's completely red. I think it was a holiday exclusive, perhaps? Does this sound familiar to anyone? Anywho...

    So did anyone watch Episode I in honor? I considered it for a moment and quickly decided against lol. I was definitely hyped up about the movie back in 1999. I taped the trailer off of Entertainment Tonight and brought it with me to friends' houses to watch.

    I'm in full agreement regarding the price point and the testing ground of modular playsets, and have been wishing Hasbro would do something like this for this for years. A BAF for playsets. I sold all my modern stuff years ago to focus on vintage Star Wars but did back the Barge. Now seeing this stuff too I think I may jump back into modern collecting. At least with a Jabba's Palace focus.

    I voted for Hoth Rebel Trooper but congrats to Lobot. I'm not sure why people went bananas for him...I mean I would want him eventually but more as a "sure, let's get him out of the way", and not "I need this figure in my life right now!"

    Figure looks okay but I'm not liking the black outline in the mouth. I hate to say it but Mattel lost their DC mojo. Did I hear that it was because the Four Horseman stopped working for the company?

    This is a good looking statue...based on the Netflix series I assume? And while we're on the subject I'd love to see a statue of a more "classic" inspired Belmont as opposed to the anime style.

    Oh yeah, no doubt. I'm mostly 80's toys and Marvel Legends as well, but I did collect BTAS figures back in the 90's and have always had an affinity for that style (like so many other's do too). So the fact that I can now buy them with better, more cartoon accurate sculpting and greater articulation gets me jazzed up.

    I've had the chance to mess around with Martian Manhunter. He was pretty poseable. Not perfect, of course, but definitely able to get enough poses to make him a worthwhile purchase.

    I would seriously consider picking this version of Tommy up. I never liked Power Rangers as a teen, but did snag a White Ranger McDonald's happy meal toy back in the day just so I could have him. He still sits in my childhood bedroom closet at my parent's house. And now you're gonna combine him with Marvel Legends level of articulation?! Sold!!!

    I'm loving their look. Talk about combining the best of both worlds. Today's superior sculpting abilities and old school styling. It's a win-win.

    I'm digging their style and hope that they sell well to show Mattel that there is a market for Thundercats. If they want to leave the license with Super 7 though, that's cool too. They have proven themselves to be great caregivers of beloved brands.

    I've been calling my local Five Below looking for the GOTG wave, but no go. The manager says they've already sold out of what they received but to keep checking because they'll probably get more.

    So I just saw these on a Facebook group page, Marvel Legends Collecting. Looks to be new pics of Captain Marvel. These figures look awesome if they are indeed real. They look real to me.
