  1. Thanks for the update. I ordered mine today, along with several items I had been waiting on, so I was able to use my 20% off code on the whole order. Eric
  2. all i gotta say is wow that a lot of stuff,i collect the early 90s toybiz x-men/x-force figures i was just wondering what is your most rare repaint from those series The grey haired Forge with brown holster. I do have a Jean Grey from the Onslaught series where her blue parts of the costume are a metallic green. I haven't seen it listed in any guide. Also Skin from the Generation X series came with a headset, some were gold, some were silver. All the variants are MOC packed away. I only have so much room, so not everything can be displayed. I also have the black claw Wolverine from Secret Wars MOC.
  3. You got a good deal. I bought my about a year ago, paid about $100 for the X-Men set.
  4. I have all the X-Men ToyBiz figures, including all the variants. I do know there were 4 Marvel books highlighting the figures and toys back in the late 90's. I am not aware of the site, I can look for it. Here's my collection: http://marvelousnews.com/index.php?catid=23&itemid=11170
  5. I collect all the X-Men characters of this line. Also there was line of lead figures from Spain about 18 months ago, I have all the X-Men characters. Those figures are a little smaller. Eric
  6. yes, I would buy another X-Men line with any of the characters mentioned. Nimrod would be a good BAF
  7. If everyone remembers in years past, some items are shown at the US Toyfair, that is items that are ready to be shown. More items are shown at the subsequent comic cons and wizard world events. The toy companies have to keep building interest, keep us in suspense, and continually develop new products. Patience is a virtue. I am an X-Men fan and would love nothing more than to keep growing my collection, but having a year off to save up money for next year when there will a large assortment of Wolverine and X-Men items, I'm ok with that. Be patient and you will be pleasantly surprised!!!
  8. I will purchase the Wolverine and any other X-Men characters since I collect everything X-Men. These are kind of neat, they're different than a normal action figure and enhance the look of my collection because of the variety of designs different lines offer.
  9. All the figures are new paint jobs, only Wolverine has the same pose. Magneto is a loose figure, he is not on the metal base you see on his first one. Colossus first figure has closed fists, this is open fists, plus he has different boots. Wolverine has a different paint job on his belt, it does not have the X, but the pose is the same. So you will get different figures!! Eric
  10. There was a Beast prototype and a Professor X and Adventure Van pack that never made it to production. Eric
  11. I collect all the X-Men figures for my personal collection. I buy all the SHS figures for my 5 and 2 year old. They are fun, easy to play with and don't break easily. Plus they go with my kids Star Wars Galactic Heroes. Eric
  12. We finally received it this weekend in Des Moines, IA. I was able to get the last one on the shelf!! Eric
  13. I definitely open my figures. These are toys, they are meant to be shipped to the store in packages to protect them, showcase the accessories, then you take them home and open them. You create teams, dioramas, battle scenes, etc. For example, as an X-Men collector, years ago Gambit was with the X-Men and the White Queen was a villian, now I have them switched. I can do that because they are open. You can create poses. Let's be honest, Spider-man in a package is ok, but if you take him and gave him webbing and allowed him to hang upside down in his "spidy pose" wouldn't that be cool???!!!! Can't do that in a package. Seriously, when you look at a carded figure, I should say the size of a carded figure, how many open figures can you place in the same space? Quite a few more. Enjoy the action figures/toys/collectibles whatever you may call them for what they truly are: a toy!!! This allows me to share my passion with my kids, display a lot of toys to show off my collection, and easily change arrangements as needed. To see what I mean, here is the direct link to my marvelous collection posted on this site: http://marvelousnews.com/index.php?catid=23&itemid=11170 For those of you that got "bad figures with loose joints", it happens, I have a few, but I think it is an exception not the rule. As far as value, these things are produced in such mass quantities, except for variants, they won't be worth too much. Toys from the early 1980's and before are worth more because the huge collector craze was not as rampant as it is now, plus some toys were produced in lesser quantities. Each collector has to do what they feel is best for themselves, my personal opinion is open and enjoy the figures!!! Eric
  14. Thanks for the heads up, I ordered all of ML 3, but Hydra was sold out, got free shipping tho. Eric
  15. Same. I would agree, Hellfire club. And Sentinels, like Sentinel Primes from the X-Men comics about 5 years ago. Eric
