Joe beat me to it. I'm not sure if they will allow late buy in the fundafill like Marauder John did but these things are works of art. I know I plan on trying to combien some spare gear I have and Maruder gear to see if I can make some Joes with that style articulation and build. Pretty sure the black blank will become a v 2 SE, at least for a few photos.

The Nerdversity 101 crew interviewed Buzz Dixon recently about his past and soon to be work on G.I.Joe as well as other things from how he knew Jack Kirby, Thundarr the Barbarian, and more. I think you will want to give it a listen if you have time. We don't normally do Joe, (heck when i say "we" I'm only 50% of the time) I was really thankful to be a part of it. the story on the blog is HERE with links to the audio on sticther, and podcast garden, it's also on ITunes keyword nerdversity101. Some Key tidbits to take away from it (not going to give it all away) Is that his upcoming Amazon Novel will be set in the Sunbow universe, Will feature Shipwreck, will be set before Serpentor, but feature season 2 Joes, and the outline Is currently complete but no firm release date yet, I'm sure updates will be coming. Did you know there was a female Joe in Sunbow nicknamed "Mary L?" I learned a ton from talking to Buzz and had some good laughs too. The slaughter story he tells at the end of the podcast, about Slaughter's kids is AWESOME. Did you guys already know about the novel? Excited? plan to be? have a kindle? (you don't have to, to read it btw)

the kickstarter is over now, and broke the record for how much an action figure line got backed for. They had to add 7 additional stretch goals! I went all in at the 500$ level (which was a bit of a stretch for me) but that was 10 $ an item so it was an amazing deal. Anybody else? What do you plan on doing with them?
-
I could only add one as well, by then Boss Fight had claim on my fun money !
-
Dragon 66 hit the nail on the head, and you could google it for more info.
-
Coil Con in Indy for me, and Probably one in Columbus in Sept. Can't remember the name.
-
In case you haven't heard, There is an all darker green version available at the fundafill site. It's 35 $ but comes with a full set of gear.
-
I was shocked at well this went. I got one of each figure and a couple of accessory packs. I can not wait till December rolls around!
-
Thanks for the info, and here is hoping but I am still a bit worried about these. LJ and the baroness were the two pack i was looking forward to the most.
-
I'm still baffeled by some of their choices, but at least the packaging looks great. Even if that heat viper was a fav (and it's not) and they understood it wasn't a flame thrower, I couldn't buy it with that standard blowtorch, I haven't bought him a single time and I have no intention of doing so. If it's khaki and green like the unproduced variant/ original concept colors, I would be all about it, Heck I'd even take green and Gold in JVC colors before this bright figure that's already been released twice!

I think the script was tighter for ROC, as much as I hate to admit that, but the director (summers) had no idea what he was doing, and overal tone and designs were way off. Retaliation got a lot right, almost the opposite right, but the script had some serious flaws. I'd take RET over ROC any day though. as to the third movie? I'm wondering if Rock's recent casting in a DC movie that's been very hush hush has caused the push around. I'm not confident that movie studies are transparent. Remember Summers was originally set to come back and then quitely moved on later. Whatever actually happened, I'm not worried yet.

I really dislike the six " idea, for you Wheeljack it might make sense because you collect other lines. I don't think Joe would survive with a 6" line. Most joe collectors would shun the scale change, and it would involve lots of new parts that would be expensive, and the climbing cost would make figures even less appealing to parents, so it wouldn't gain new fans. It would just be a quick cash grab for the few 6 " collectors who would like Joe, and those Joe fans who will buy anything that says Joe on it.
