  1. Ok here is how wave 4 is shaping up Captain America, Dr. Doom, Bullseye, and Battle Damage DD. Keep in mind this could change or there could be additions but thats how wave 4 is shaping up right now as.
  2. Well I guess you have to look at it this way. Orson isnt a Hasbro PR person, he is one of the people who actually works on creating the product, now if you spent all your time creating something you might get a little defensive if you thought someone may be attacking it, its only natural. I wouldn't take it personally. Now try criticising ADC and see what kind of reaction you get from me @stone@ j/k

    Wave 9 line-up

Thanx to blue foot booby & Nasburado for sending this info in. They say in this months previews magazine wave 9 was listed as including: Duke vs. Cobra Commander Snake Eyes vs. Storm Shadow Hi-Tech vs. Dr. Mindbender Agent Scarlett vs. Sand Viper Heavy Duty vs. Razorclaw Alley Viper vs. Cobra Viper It also says it will ship in December 2003. I haven't confirmed this but if it was in Previews im sure its pretty reliable but of course Im sure its subject to change.

    Hawkgirl found

I picked her up today at my local comic shop.
  5. Next month we are goona have our 1st Minimate custom contest so start getting them ready. We should have a pretty cool prize lined up for the winner. Mor details to come soon.
  6. Ok first let me say you know these pics of Battle Damaged DD and Bullseye have been around since last Feb. ADC's not just a message board, we actually post news here to http://afigures.com/g/?dispsize=800&mode=v...ic=100_0101.jpg http://afigures.com/g/?dispsize=800&mode=v...ic=100_0109.jpg second I checked with Adam Unger of Art Asylum about when we can epect to see these 2. He said they were due out in the next wave. Now to be honest im not quit sure what that means exactly but I asked for clarification so I should no more by tommorow.
  7. Check it out. http://www.americandreamcomics.com/index.p...d=1742&catid=21
  8. I saw it today at TRU. I passed for now cause the only figure I need from it is Boskk. The Imperial 4-pack is somewhat of a pegwarmer around here so I imagine the Bounty Hunter one will be pretty easy to get later on.
  9. So if you were a kid today do you think you would still be interesyed in collecting Transformers. Basically meaning if there was no nastalgia factor to consider?
  10. Ok here is another question to throw in the mix to think about. Imagine you were a kid today, and if you are a kid today definatly throw your input in. Are the elemets that attracted you to RAH back then there now in JvC and would they attract you today to collect this line. I know its kinda hard but think about all the things kids have exposure to today that perhaps you did not have access to back then. Keeping that in mind do you think you would be attracted to JvC if you were a kid today. (basically saying there would be no nastalgia factor to attaract you).
  11. Well let me through this into the mix as something to think about. If the new animated series became a hit and they were to do a line based soley off the series, do you think this would bring in a whole new generation of Star Wars collectors??
  12. So far I think it looks very cool. The only thing I didnt like was the tank jumping cliffs and the NAC doing super speed twists in the air. Kinda unrealistic moves for vehicles of that type. (those are just nipciking complaints though). The BATS look awsome. That is Heavy Duty shown in the video but Im pretty sure Road Block will be in the movie to. When I first heard the music I didnt like it to much but though it went well with the video shown here. I do hope in the movie we get some classic music to. My bigest fear for this movie is getting use to the new voices. Its gonna take some getting used to not hearing the classic voices from the orginal series. Sept 27 is when the show will debut on Cartoon Network. Then it will be released on DVD with the 12" Snake-Eyes Storm Shadow 2-pack in October. Got to say ol' stormy wasnt putting up a very good fight against Snake-Eyes, but at least they are finally fighting each other and Storm Shadow isnt forced to get beat up by the likes of Spirit or Quick Kick. Also noticed that it looked like when the cobra helicopters were blown up no one parachuted out of them like they always managed to do in the classic series. Wonder if they will show people get killed in this? I doubt it but will be interesting to see how they do it. After seeing the season 1 of Beast Wars on DVD this past week I have alot of hope for this movie.
  13. Also the other point of the question was to see what were the factors that attacted you to the line then and do you still find those same facttors attracting you now or do you collect it now solely for sentimental reasons?
  14. True but were I was going is if Say Hasbro did not come up with the concept Of Joe and Cobra till now and there was never the line in the 80's would there still be an attraction for you?
  15. Let me ask you one more question. What first attracted you to GIJoe, then for RAH or now if you are a new GIJoe collector and JvC is what you started with.
  16. Im just curious. If the new Clone Wars mini episodes became a regular half-hour cartoon that for the most part you liked, would you be interested in a new line of Star Wars animated style line of figures based off the show? When I say animated style I mean like the Batman figures based off the animated series. This would be a totally seperate line from the regular line of Star Wars figures that are out now.
  17. Just curious, if there had never been RAH and the established history that goes with it, would you be interested in GIJoe based on the new line of stuff, toys, comic, show ect, ect?
  18. Nah this is just the music video. The trailer will be up on the new movie site next week. See the main page for a link to the offical movie site.

    Star Wars Kid!

This is got to be the stupidest thing I think I have ever seen on the internet. I honestly have to say that I can't see why anyone would make any kind of big deal about this in the first place. However if this kid sues and wins its gonna cause huge ramifications. Now whether thats good or bad Im not sure but think about it. If he wins that will mean that if anyone posts any kind of picture of someone without that persons permission, they will be able to sue you for doing so.
  21. First it was He-Man and now he's going up against the Tcats. Check it out http://www.americandreamcomics.com/index.p...d=1718&catid=21
  22. I think what he meant by avoid confudsion is they didnt want people confusuing the G1 Cyclonus with the Armada Cyclonus.
  23. Yeah these aliens used Unicrons heads to talk to Optimus Primal in the final 2-part episode of Season 1. Damn Primal just blew up and now I gotta wait till the season 2 DVD set comes out to find out what happened. Well nobody tell me, I want to be surprised. Well after watching the entire first season I have to say Beast Wars is very cool.
  24. Watching the epsiode of Beast Wars were Starscream's Spark takes over Waspinator. Pretty cool epsiode and the flashback with Unicron and Starscream was pretty cool. To bad they weren't able to get Cris back to reprise his role and it would have been cool if they had shown Starscreams actualy body more. Gotten a better look at a G1 character in CGI. Starscream should have just gone and found the Ark and gotten back in his own body.
