  1. Case in point, instead of using their social media to get our real helpful information about their products we get pointless tweets like this
  2. The Target employees i talked to told me not to expect anymore Cobra Island figures. Now IDK how truthful that is but most stores got their cases of each of the single packed figures with 6 figures. I dont think there were plans for more right now. It was the bad communication with when to release and sell them that was the biggest problem on those. Now Baroness obviously has been delayed for whatever reason, and delays especially this year are perfectly understandable. Again however, the problem lies with bad communication. If Baroness wasnt going to be out this month it would have taken Hasbro seconds to make a tweet on social media letting people know or Target. You right Hasbro relies primarily on methods of free advertising to promote these things, but had they put the word out sites like this one would have def helped get the word out to those that are actually interested in buying them.
  3. A number of folks have written in about finding at Target stores what seems to be a most unannounced 8" Cloth Retro Bill And Ted's Excellent Adventure Ted "Theodore" Logan figure from NECA. The figure itself appears to be a re-release of the figure that came in the previously released Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure Two-Pack. The weird things for this set however is the price Target stores have been reportedly charging for the figure which is $60. That's as much as the original 2-pack cost that had both Bill and Ted. Well indications are that Target has made an error in their price and that is should only cost around $30. Now if you happen to come across the figure in the wild and its still showing a $60 price tag, good luck on convincing someone to change the price for you, but I would recommend you hold off on buying it until they do. If for some reason you already bought one for $60, then I'd probably go back to the store and ask for a refund of the difference in price. Thanks to folks who sent in word on this one.

  9. During the Battle of Hoth in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, Luke Skywalker piloted a Snowspeeder, led the Rebel Alliance against the Empire’s ground forces, and instructed the other snowspeeder pilots to use their harpoons and cables to aim for the legs in an attempt to take down the massive Imperial AT-AT walkers in order to give the Rebels enough time to evacuate the snow planet. In celebrating the 40th anniversary of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, Hot Toys is excited to introduce a series of collectibles based on this iconic film! Now, Hot Toys is delighted to officially present the 1/6th scale collectible figure of Luke Skywalker in his flight suit and helmet that he wore on Hoth, as the latest release of The Empire Strikes Back 40th Anniversary Collection! The highly-accurate Luke Skywalker collectible figure is expertly crafted based on his appearance in the movie, features a head sculpt with newly sculpted hair sculpture, finely tailored Snowspeeder outfit and life support unit on chest, a LED light-up lightsaber, an interchangeable lightsaber blade emulating the weapon in motion, a highly-detailed flight helmet, a grappling gun, a blaster, a thermal detonator, a snow-themed diorama set-up with a figure stand all in the specially designed retro style packaging!
  10. I saw on linkedin that Bryan Flynn from Super7 has put out a request for folks laid off at DC Direct to contact him about possible job opportunities, so hopefully folks in need of work will be able to find it elsewhere in the industry.
