  1. I'll be heading to TRU this Fri or Thur. Hope I can see some 2packs. Vancouver BC is usually slower than Ontario

I just went there yesterday and I didn't see any 2 packs.

  2. Hello people! TRU is having a sale of Deluxe class Transformers from September 17th to September 30th. Regular price was $15.99; sale price is $11.99

The Deluxe class I saw are: Cybertronian Bumblebee, Ironhide, Cybertronian Optimus Prime, Jetblade, Drift, Thrust, Sea Attack Ravage

I also saw the Masterpiece Grimlock (with the "exclusive" sticker), too.

However, I only grabbed a Cybertronian Bumblebee today.

There is also a "buy-1-get-1 for $1" event on all $9.99 Marvel and Star Wars action figures

  3. All I saw was Mark V. No luck finding War Machine and Mark VI.

I think I will get the 6" Mega Bloks War Machine.

I posted up in the Marvel section of the TNI Boards, some links to some Youtube reviews on the 6" Mega Blocks Magnetic Iron Man 2 Buildable figures(Including War Machine), incase you or anyone wants to find out more about these before buying them.  I too myself have been consder getting the Mega Blocks 6" War Machine too if I don't get the Wal-mart Exclusive Hasbro 6" verison(Oh why, oh why Hasbro, did you make these 6" figures Wal-mart Exclusives?), but I'll play the wait and see for the moment.  Here's the link to my posting:

I'll say that the Mega Blocks 6" verisons at least should be easier to get than the 6" Hasbro verisons.  And from all the Mega Blocks 6" verisons, the War Machine actually looks really good(Well, they all look good/okay to me, but War Machine is the best looking) thanks mostly to his bulky armour.  I'm still waiting to see if someone has pictures of both 6" Hasbro and Mega Blocks figures together, just to help get an idea of what they'll look like together.

    Thanks man!

It seems like there's a case of MK6 and War Machines for Wal Mart and then it's all case of MK5's now.

I am not sure if there will be any restocks of the 6" MK6 and War Machine cases. I'm just glad that we actually got an exclusive this time. Normally Wal Mart exclusives only mean in US.

I hope they will be restocked.

  4. Regular Figures:

    1. Wolverine - redo the Original/1st-appearance costume or civilian outfit

    2. Omega Red - classic version with a new body sculpt or the one from the Ultimate universe

    3. Maverick - I prefer the "classic" version (like the one in drzenith's avatar) over the one from his solo series. Agent Zero would be cool, too.

    163155-maverick_400165.jpg.xs.jpg

    4. Deadpool - Weapon X or the one from Cable and Deadpool.

    5. Sabretooth - Weapon X or civilian outfit

    6. Gambit

    7. Silver Fox - I prefer this one with the cape. Kinda like Gamora...

    17557-silver-fox_400770.jpg.xs.jpg

    8. Silver Samurai

    BAF:

Cyber - which is this guy: http://www.marvel.com/universe/Cyber

    -----------------

    is ...............

    lady deathstrike

    omega red

    striker

    sabretooth

    ....................in the wolverine movie

    the confirmed characters are

Sabretooth (well that was kinda obvious can't do a Wolverine movie without him)

    Agent X (or Maverick)

Deadpool (play by the guy who did Hannibal King in Blade trinity, who is perfect for the role)

    Silver Fox

Barnel Basukk (beal but they maybe just be using the name)

Gambit (that right the cajin gets his movie appearance at last)

    Young Striker

It's actually Agent Zero. Agent X is another guy... :P

  5. It's Clint "Hawkeye" for the Ronin figure.

    Thanks for the info!

What is the blond head for? MORPH as Forge or Wolverine? Anyway, that would be "my" Morph...hahaha

It's been stated multiple times that the blond head is Ronin/Clint Barton.

    And Morph has brown hair.

Honestly, I'm a little concerned at all the tiny things people are finding to nitpick over, and yet so many people are willing to overlook something like the totally wrong hair color (and style!) if it means they can have a minor character from a decade-old cartoon who was never in the comics in that form among their comic-based figures.

I have a custom ML Morph figure myself... and this reaction still scares me a bit.

YOUR reaction is scaring me. How do you know what I am gonna do make myself the figure I want?

Since the wolverine figure have a nice X-men body, claws on one hand, and the fact that change-o-head is super-easy on the figure, I can make myself a Morph with some other additional stuff.

I really like the X-men cartoon from the 90's. It's more than 10 years old and I want a figure of that Morph in 6-inch style. So what? Mind your own business...

Thanks for new pics, Jay!!! :)

  6. Thanks for the pics Ryno.

Venom got some serious plastic surgery for his head????

The "prototype" and the product have totally different heads (especially the teeth and the shape of the eye) and different spider-symbols... "Aimed for kids" isn't an excuse for this; it would be an insult for the kids. Kids aren't stupid; they are just innocent.

It's funny, even when I was a little kid, it used to drive me totally nuts when the figure was different on the package than the one in my hand. I would either feel that I missed out on a different version of the figure or I was just annoyed that it was different and couldn't understand why. I would point it out to my friends and show them how dumb it was. But, Hasbro must've been sculpting from really early concept designs when they prototyped these things. The Spider-Man and Doc Ock heads are very different than the package as well.

Exactly, but I think they are going in the wrong direction seriously. @_@

Same as Alexx, I do hear a baby cry inside my head when I first saw that Venom.... haha @loll@

  7. Taskmaster - Agency X blue costume

Iron Fist - Modern (no big collar, yellow boots)

    Venom - Thunderbolts (no tail)

Luke Cage - Modern (street clothing)

    Deadpool - Weapon X and Agency X

Punisher - "Venomech" (as seen in War Journal)

    Ms Marvel - Binary

    Nova - Modern (Annihilation)

Beetle - Masters of Evil and Mach IV

    Ghost Rider - Modern

    Captain America - Modern

    Hulk - Red

Cable - the one from his new comic series comming in March

Black Cat - ANY version that is not the Boxed-sets version

    Psylocke - Yes, I agree with gambit329 that a non-anorexic looking version with psy-blade would be cool...haha

  8. Thanks for the pics Ryno.

Prototype on back of package: (I would have bought this even if it lacks articulation)
