  1. I love the Disney Princess sets she has...all those Castles! Stunning. @notworthy@
  2. I saw an amazing collection of Care Bear & Starwberry Shortcake dolls. Belongs to an Aussie girl, take a look: http://ozfigurama.bigforumpro.com/shelf-li...ection-t324.htm
  3. I am tempted to hunt down some of the old Mego line, it featured a few different characters & some funky playsets. http://www.megomuseum.com/woz/index.html Mattel also made a nice looking Barbie type line. They included the Wicked Witch so I am tempted to buy them as well. I do love that Witch! @loll@
  4. There were some other figures lined-up I had not see before: BASIC: Arnold Toht BASIC: Colonel Dietrich BASIC: German Mechanic BASIC: Marion Ravenwood (White Dress) BASIC: Satipo ** BASIC: Walter Donovan BASIC: René Belloq (White Suit) DELUXE: Indiana Jones (Young) with Horse DELUXE: Indiana Jones with Map Trap DELUXE: Indiana Jones with Rocket Sled DELUXE: Indiana Jones with Soul Trap DELUXE: Short Round with Mine Cart I'm going to stand by my belief we will see all this stuff in a few short years.
  5. Just posted this in the Imports section as well: There may just be some hope for this line afterall: "Popco was most known for their Golden Compass and Harry Potter figures. The Golden Compass figures were great, even if the movie didn't live up to the books, and the Harry Potter line was my favorite action figure line since Palisades' The Muppets. Then of course there were the James Bond line Corgi showed off at the UK ToyFair this year (which we understand should still come in 2009 under Master Replicas)."

  7. Harry is 3.75" tall. Everyone is scaled around him. Bad news. PopCo have gone under. All new products pictured above have been shelved. UK's Designworks sculpted these figures for Popco (they also sculpt Doctor Who for Character Options). Ed of Designworks is hoping another company will buy the license & pick up where Popco left off. But he is not too sure that will happen. @grumpy@ "PopCo goes under" http://www.banned/index.php?nam...e&sid=23903
  8. There are some cute Asian lasses in there! I really like the look of Saldana. I am yet to see her in anything. Here's hoping Chapel & Rand make it into future movies.
  9. I dig the uniforms. Set's look funky. Can't wait to see Playmates action figure range!! I think Quinto will make an excellent Spock. A pretty face is a very marketable tool, & that Chris Pine fella is certainly pretty. Is it insulting to call a man pretty?? @loll@
  10. Mine arrived the other day: Mola Ram would have to be the best of the set, a really good figure. So are Willie & Shorty....& the rest. I'll have to jump on evilBay & see if I can find atleast one more little Thuggee dude. Took me a while, but I finally got Willie's head off & removed the necklace & lei. She looks nicer without them, not as cool though.
  11. I'd like to thank the last 4 or 5 repliers in this thread for some thoughtful & interesting insights. I don't get what's up with all the doom & gloom. Surely they will want to get atleast 1 or 2 more movies in before Harrison is too damn old to participate! @loll@ The Hasbro line is 'on hold' for now. We may be waiting a little longer than hoped for our ROTLA wave 2, but I'd say they will turn up eventually. And even if they don't, Hasbro offered a fantastic range in 2008.
  12. I was about to use that same word for Selleck. @loll@ I liked a lot of his movies when I was young, and I think he may have been able to pull off a good Indy. But I love Harrison Fords performance & wouldn't change it for anything. I've heard people bad mouth Kate Capshaw's (?) performance as Willie, but I think she played the annoying Diva role very well.
  13. The new Series 4 assortment will be hitting stores shortly. New characters include River Song, Vashta Nerada, TimeLord & some Hath:
  14. Very nice. Now where are my freakin Tonnika sisters Hasbro?? @firedevil@
  15. DST's larger scale SG1 figures are pretty ordinary. DST have stated they have no interest in competing with the rest of the market in this scale, they just make what they make...if you like it, buy it. If you don't like it...don't buy it. It's an interesting business strategy.
  16. That village is very awesome! Love the 'wenches'. Soo many cool little inclusions. Thanks for the pics.
  17. Aweosme pics! Thanks for that JFAK075. Definately have to buy the Race to Akator set.
  18. Here are some various pics I have saved: 4" Claire: 9" Niki (is it 9"?)
  19. I would definately buy them. I love 3 3/4", & it's soo much cheaper for companies to produce...& much easier for us to display & store.
  20. I decided a few years ago I wanted a small collection of Barbies. I tracked down about 30 dolls - male & female of various ethnicities...also Grandma & Grandpa Barbie & a child. Then I moved onto vehicles & bought a Jaguar & a Porsche. Lastly, my dolls needed a home....so I picked this baby up at Target the other week: And my collection is complete. I was thinking of buying some Skippert dolls, but they don't seem to make her any more?
  21. My friend had a Rainbow Bright that I used to harass whenever I went over there. I didn't consider buying any of them until I saw a persons collection a few months ago & noticed they actually made Puple Pie Man & Sour Grapes!! So I'll definately have to grab a few of them at some point.
  22. I bought several ponies for my 2 year old neice the other day. My little sister loved MLP when she was young, so we used to have a lot of them around. I noticed a 4-pack which included 4 ponies, each with their own DVD, so I scooped that up. The I saw a 2-pack of cute looking ponies & bought that as well. So she has 6 of them. I'll take a pic at some point. I know one is an artists, & has her own little pink hat. Another has ice-cream patterns on her & includes an ie-cream which attaches to her leg. However my niece already lost the ice-cream. I saw some playsets
  23. I really liked the Jazwares MK line. But I didn't buy any...a Mortal Kombat line without Sonya Blade is not one I would be buying. Instead I found a set of the 2000 Infinite Concepts line. Really cool figures, though they seemingly didn't sell at all as we never saw assortment 2. RTM has some pics of the second wave that was planned: http://www.banned/toyfair2000/infini...inite2000.shtml
  24. A guy in the UK said he picked them up at Hot Topic. No pics yet folks?
