  1. New Classic figures of the 1st & 2nd Doctors. These will be exclusive to Forbidden Planet (from memory), & they will likely be available at SDCC. And a further variant of the 6th Doctor:
  2. Here they are: Believed to be: Sulu Old Spock Uhura (cadet) Pike
  3. Apparently DST thought Nurse Ogawa looked too small on the Troi body, so they gave her the Troi torso & the Crusher legs instead! She sure looks more Troi's height to me. Apparently her legs look bizarrely long with this body combination.
  4. He looks kinda crappy @hmmm@ I was really hoping Playmates would step it up for this line.
  5. It is most likely the Borg Queen was taken out of the first wave so she could be used to anchor the second set. I have no doubt there will be more Borg waves. I'm really looking forward to them all!
  6. People have started receiving both TNG5 & DS9 wave 2. Rick from Newforce should have his sets to start sending out next week. There are pictures & discussions of the waves at Trektoy forum. http://www.trektoy.com/forum/index.php?showforum=9 Aside from Beverly's innacurate hairstyle & hair colour (odd!), she is quite beautiful. I have not seen pics of the rest of the wave as yet. DST have apologised several times for the mix up with Crusher's hair. They say it was miscommunication with their factory (same with Timeless Geordi's badge). From DS9 2, people are
  7. I don't believe so. All current Who figures are a 5" scale. There are some vintage Dapol figures, but I believe they were even larger. New Who "Build a Figure" waves will be out soon including: The Vespiform: To build the Vespiform you will need to buy a lot of re-released figures (The River Song wave), which has greatly annoyed most collectors. Next BAF wave is the Gelth: Includes: Ancient Doctor 2-pack Jabe Bannakaffalata Astrid Peth (without apron) Purple Clockwork Man Captain Jack Harkness The Master
  8. I have about 3 full forms still, I'll have to check & see if the Aussie Hasbro supplier has any left. I wouldn't mind having all 12.
  9. Couldn't agree more. What they lack individually, they certainly make up for as a group. Diversity is a big thing to me, & unless you're talking Star Wars it's kinda rare. JLU has brought me nearly everything I could want in a line, plenty of characters of various sizes (including numerous women) along with playsets & vehicles. They may not all stand well & their movement is very basic, but I am glad I started collecting this line as it has become something quite amazing. Oh, & I LOVE the Amanda Waller....Bring on Granny Goodness!!
  10. Very sad news. I would love to see DST release a Majel 3-pack as Number 1, Nurse Christine Chapel & Lwaxana Troi.
  11. Any pics folks? I haven't seen it completed yet.
  12. Scificollector have shown Ianto & Tosh: Ianto Jones Toshiko Sato
  13. I must be amongst the few who think it would be awesome to see an Arnie Freeze. This line is the Movie Masters, so it only makes sense. Regardless of the fact I thought the Arnie & Jim Carey Batman movies were rather rubbish, or that the Halle Berry Catwoman movie was a disgrace....I would still love action figures of all of them. There were some funky character designs in the movies:
  14. PopCo are back! The Harry Potter line will be continuing, though possibly not under the brand PopCo. However it is still the same people, & the same figures we see on this page will be released. I received my Bellatrix recently:
  15. "Good Morning Charlie" Jakks Pacific released these dolls back in 2000. They utilise scanning technology & a somewhat unique 'action fashion' body, which is very poseable, though you actually have to hold them in these poses as they are more bendy than articulated. Alex (Lucy Liu) looks the best in terms of the face. Dylan (Drew Barrymore) is nice too. Natalie (Cameron Diaz) is last, though I don't mind her face either. It's a shame they only released the Angels. A bad guy or two would have helped the line....given them something to do.
  16. My series 1 figures turned up recently. I'm really happy with them. They are taller than the Doctor Who figures, but I'm displaying them seperately so that doesn't phase me.
  17. I really like the look of the figure. There are plenty of Soul Calibur figures I would love to see. I noticed the cameltoe & nipples. Is the male body also anatomically correct??
  18. More images at Cool Toy Review http://www.cooltoyreview.com/story/front/D...Borg_119487.asp
  19. MOC images at the AA blog, unfortunately they gave Crusher the wrong hair: Original proto & production piece: The production sample I bought which also has the correct hair: The final piece - some 20 months after sculpting it, they decide to change it to be inaccurate!! Ogawa looks aweoms though. Really looking forward to her & O'Brien.
  20. Good grief! We just have to wait a couple more years than expected...I know that sux, but it's better than the complete death of the line.
  21. You made it here SciFi! Artistix from the Doctor Who forums, I believe I suggested this place. I took the liberty of stealing some of your images for a time when we were allowed to post them, & here they are: (Send me a Private Message if you want any removed) A reminder to folks these are mainly the un-articulated prototypes, figures feature full movement as mentioned by SciFiCollector. Series 1 - Captain Jack Harkness Series 1 - Gwen Cooper Series 1 - Weevil, Lisa the Cyberwoman & Gwen Series 2 Captain John Hart Series 2 - Blowfish
  22. DST has stated TNG wave 5 is now delayed until December. They did want to make it clear the wave would not be cancelled, & barring any unforseen 'natural disasters' the figures will not be delayed again. DST seem to experience over 100 'natural disaster' every year, so I'm not sure if their words are in any way comforting. The set will be 22 months late, if it is actually released in December.
  23. Wow! They look fantasic. Especially Giganta. Thanks for the link.
  24. All I know of Jazwares is Mortal Kombat. I love Mortal Kombat & was tempted to buy the figures, but Jazwares 'no girls' policy turned me off straight away. I couldn't imagine buying an MK line without Sonya.
