  1. Its not the same a girl liking Transformers is cool but a guy buying a toy made for little girls its weird...

You collect toys so you are weird. Telling other people they are more weird does not make you any less so.

I decided to catch a few eps of this show when I heard it was done by the same people as Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends. It is a pretty cool show.

I even bought a few ponies when I heard they had made Nightmare Moon.

  2. Integrity have a page on their site lisitng the places they can be pre-ordered, but most of them have sold out already!

If there was a bit more warning about it all I could have saved up...now I just gotta hope I am lucky enough to get them at some point.

Apparently Classic Jem & Rio are selling quickest.

  3. You should send an e-mail to Jazwares & ask them if they know somewhere you can get them.

I e-mailed about Australia & Jazwares told me a group called Croftsminster are importing them...so if any Aussies are looking contact Croftsminster online.

  4. Hey folks,

We had the pleasure of talking to Scott 'ToyGuru' Neitlich from Mattel on an episode of the Fwooshcast recently. If you are into MOTUC, DC...any Mattel lines really (& some Hasbro Marvel), we talk a little about everything.

Craig our host wanted to focus more on ToyGuru himself for this interview, so if you want to know more about the motivations & interests of Scott it is a great listen.

  7. Great pics! Thanks CX1.

I have heard about the quality issues. It seems it is best not to move Ken or Ryu's feet at all as their breakage is common. Damn shame, & I hope Jazwares take it all in & improve on these issues with wave 2.

I did not buy the MK figures the first time Jazwares did them years ago, but reviews seem to state the figures improved as the waves continued so I hope that is the case again.

Not sure when wave 2 of these comes out...not sure which is wave 2 either. We have SF & SFIV coming.

Street Fighter: Ryu Vs. Sagat, Ken Vs. Blanka, Chun-Li Vs. Vega, and M.Bison Vs. Akuma.

Super Street Fighter IV: Guile Vs. Abel, El Fuerte Vs. Seth, Ryu (Black Costume) Vs. C. Viper, and Rufus Vs. Ken.

  8. I just got most of the 4" Samurai wave in the mail yesterday, everyone but the normal Gold Ranger. Very cool little figures. Dekker is fantastic!

But I think the coolest figure of the set is Rita!! She is far from a great figure....but it is Rita freakin Repulsa! :D

So anyway now I'm going to have to get 4" Zedd, Goldar etc & some Putties, along with the 2010 Classic style 4" figures they did of the Rangers. Though they seem to be nearly impossible to find. I saw a Red Ranger & some Pink Rangers on eBayUS...that was about it.

  9. Some days I am going to get the sub, some days I am not! Have to wait for pricing I guess.

Figures that I didn't like when we saw them individually, actually look quite good in the group pic above. The bright colours of TNT & Topside seem to even out the more boring tan/brown attires.

By the way, I love those brown attires...Barrel Roll & Grunt will look great with Sparta!

I really like all the ladies. Only bought the vintage Quarrel last year so it is great to see her & I'm glad they used Pilot Scarlett head. Jinx is funky. Cover Girl I think will look better in hand...the hair placement is a bit off in that pic but it is only a proto. Her outfit looks fine & I love the blonde hair.

Big Boa & Iron Claw are awesomesauce.

I would be all for them but I have already committed to 2 each of the Motu, Voltron and DC subs next year.

I am a bit worried about that myself. I only got 1 Voltron & MOTUC sub, but I bought 2 DC subs...just to help out...& I really didn't think it would happen! :D

You know this subscription will be successful no matter what......for every Joe fan that says they are too expensive there are 2 that are going to get them no matter what. In the collecting world "Limited" and "Only available" are 2 phrase's that will guarantee that your product sells out.

I certainly hope so. There's guarenteed to be a few figures released each year which will be too cool to pass up.

  10. "Timed to reach consumers prior to the December 14, 2012 release of the first film, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, The Bridge will debut a multi-category toy line. The battle begins with Basic Action Figures, Adventure Packs, Beast Packs, and highly detailed Collector Figures.

They seem to be marketing to both kids & adult collectors, that is a pretty good sign IMO.

Now we just have to hope the figures are more like ToyBiz's early LoTR figures.

  11. Ooohhh, TG you never tell people they are not as important as they think they are!! @smilepunch@

I am an Org member but I took no offense from TG telling us we are not the biggest buyers of MOTUC & that our opinion is not the be all & end all.

After all, I don't agree with a huge amount of Org members these days. I prefer Mattels attitude to the line.
