  1. Any body notice the sudden disappearance of Action Blast from your Dish Network G4 Channel. I am usually not up in time for watching Action Blast at 6 a.m. MT to watch GI Joe, so I have been recording the shows and watching them in the night. Well, just this week I thought that my Dish Network receiver was malfunctioning or I was screwing up the programming of the timers. Everytime I went to watch my Action Blast GI Joe cartoon, it was so Freak'n Paid Commercial. Then this morning I got up on time to see that DISH Network was presenting prepaid commercials over my Action blast. I used to think DISH was pretty good, but when they mess with my GI Joe viewing, I get a little ticked. I have sent an email to the cable provider to complain, because they do not have a complaint department. I think if this keeps up, I am going back to digital cable or Direct TV. This is an outrage. It is like they think that no one is watching G4 at this time so why not put Body by Jerk or Jake LeLack's Blend 'o' Matic. This is not cool and I think any DISH Network customers on this site should help me and stand up and make your voice heard. YO JOE!!!!!!!
  2. I agree with those who say it is a great idea for the collectors. I would like to see a Joe Legends line made but they would have to stick to the RAH designs with more detail and joints. I buy the marvel legends line and would love to see some of the 6" joe customs in the stores. The guys that put them together are awesome. Yo Joe.
  3. That is really Awesome, where can I get one?
  4. I am with the nostalgic aspect to the 3 ¾ line. I would love to see a Marvel Legends type line at 6”, but the 3 ¾ line have always been my favorite. Portable and very detailed for the size. Also, they are easy to store and put in Dioramas. I bought them when they first came out in the 80s and I have kept up with the line ever since. With the 3 ¾ line, they are also easy to repair or customize because of the Screws, o-ring and the T-hock joints. The most of the older line was uniform enough that you could very easily move parts around and create new figures. Also, another thing about the 3 ¾ figures, they were cheaper. I remember getting two figures with my Weekly allowance and still having some left over to spend elsewhere. Toys now are so expensive that you practically have to take out a loan to get the entire set. Sigma six are awesome in detail, weapons, working Holsters and now some variety, but when I look at them and see a $15 price tag, I tend to think twice. I have one Sigma Six figure. I see a bunch that I would love to buy, but I think about the price, the space they take up, and that they remind me of a Barbie Doll. When I heard the figures were coming out, and they would have different outfits, I thought they were going to have little accessory kits to dress up your GI Joe figure. You know, like an Arctic suit, a jungle suit, a underwater suit, but alas you have an Snow Duke, Snow Snake Eyes, and an Underwater Duke. These figures are not affordable to the young children that would buy them. I think the ultimate demise of the GI Joe versus Cobra and the Valor Versus Venom lines was that they came in twin packs causing them to be a little more expensive. When the DTC line came out, they were $4.99 a piece. This was comparable to the cost when we were kids. Now that they have gone up to $5.99, I do not see the moving so much. I guess I will get off my soap Box. I am an eclectic collector, if a line of Joes and Cobra comes out in the 4, 5, or 6 inch and they look like the old figures with more detail, more joints and more weapons, I will be getting many a loan to cover my costs. #US1#
  5. Again, I apologize. In seeing the title, I freaked. I got word today that the line was on hiatus from Hasbro and thought it was a brush off from the Hasbro customer service group. Still in shock. Okay figures I would like to see from DTC: Buzzer Flash Doc Budo Recondo (like the original) v2 Snake Eyes V1 Storm Shadow Airbourne Rock and Roll Snow Job The list goes on and on. I would really like to see more Devils Due designes. Hasbro really needs to take a hint from DC Direct and let comic artists make some of the figures. At least design them and Hasbro makes it Happen. YO JOE!!!!!!!!! Where did you hear that? I can not wait that long. I have been craving that new Night VIper since freaking December 06. Well, I will wait, thanks for the info.
  6. I am new to the board and new to the realization that the 3 3/4 line is back on HIATUS. They finally get a set of figures that makes me feel like a kid again and they put the line on hiatus and if it comes back, it depends on the success of S6. I may be wrong on the S6 thing. I am personally watching every GI Joe website I know of, waiting for the New wave 4. I hate to think that I have to hunt at a TRU to get the figures in. I have only found the comic 3 packs and the new Viper Lock down, and I bought at least one of each. Personally, I Look forward to the possiblities of a 25th anniversary full of GI Joe 3 3/4 figures that will make us all remember our youth (if it happens). I guess I better buy what I can and cut my loses in 2006. Has anyone heard of when the wave 4 will hit shelves and websites? I keep seeing them on the web and in Magazines and I keep praying that they will see the light of day. I personally feel that this wave is the best of the sets so far. I want to get two that I have extra Night vipers and Cobra Officers.
