  1. In regards to the upcoming Titans Returns Legends Laserbeak: I do wish that he wasn't too black, as I read on various boards, that many aren't quite fond of him being more black. I mean, yes, G1 Laserbeak's main body was black, but he also had a good amount of white/silver and red to break up his colours a bit. Here's a link from TFormers on the pics of Laserbeak, especially in his robot/bird mode, and look at those pics 1st: - http://tformers.com/titans-return-legends-product-images-for-laserbeak-rumble/28750/news.html I do like that part of the wings is red. But I think if they really want to invoke the G1 colour scheme a bit, for the "Tablet Screen", I think they should of had the screen in a more White and Red colour scheme, instead of a mostly black with some red lines that you can't even make out. And instead of a Purple Button for Tablet mode, have that button Red instead. I think this way, it would help give Laserbeak a more G1 colour scheme. Having said that, I do like for the Decepticon logo, it's on a black background and a purple outline, as it gives it a sort of stealth look to the logo when Laserbeak is flying. Maybe keep that part of the screen black with the outline purple logo. Unless Hasbro decides to do a Running Change where Laserbeak's screen is mostly Red and White(Or at least, keep it black, but add in a bit more White and Red to it, like on the various data Graphs, and the No Autobot logo), I'm think I may have to personally do some custom home made stickers(Basically, some white stickers that I draw a pattern on, and then cut them in a way so that he can still transform with them) to help make him look more G1. Just wanted to add my 2 cents on this upcoming Laserbeak.
  2. On Saturday, May, 7, 2016 at 11:00a.m. for the Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series, YTV will be airing for the 1st time, the 14th episode of the 4th Season call "Earth's Last Stand", which basically brings about the end of the Turtles In Space story line. I just have no idea if it is the 4th Season Finale, or if it's just the end of the Turtles In Space storyline and there are still more 4th Season episodes to be shown.
  3. Someone refresh my memory in regards to the Combiner Wars Burticus, in regards to stuff mentioned back in SDCC 2015, in regards to some variants: (1.) Wasn't there suppose to be 2 variants for Onslaught based on the colour of the chest? 1 was suppose to be a G1 toy accurate colour chest, and the other being accurate to the G1 cartoon colour chest. I think 1 was suppose to be a brown chest and the other being silver. I haven't seen Onslaught yet to figure out which one is out right now. (2.) The Legends Class Shockwave: Is there suppose to be 2 variants out? There is one with some see-through purple plastic to make it seem similar to the G1 toy(Which is out right now), and the other is suppose to have see-through purple plastic replace with grey/white or a lavender colour to make it similar to the G1 cartoon colours. And if there are variants, are these still suppose to come out, or are they now cancelled/lost due to being inbetween waves or something silly like that. Just want to know, because I could of swore SDCC 2015 mentioned about these variants, and showed pics of them, but I've hadn't had any luck finding(Or re-finding) this info, or any info about them getting released or cancelled.
  4. A special episode of the current Nick TMNT series will be on Saturday, April, 9, 2016 at 11:00a.m. on YTV. It will be the 10th episode of the 4th Season call "Trans-Dimensional Turtles" which is the episode where the Nick Turtles team up with the original 1980's/1990's Cartoon Turtles. The episode also features the 4 original Turtles voice actors back as their 1980's/1990's cartoon versions.
  5. Did anyone here watch that CW Special on the Dawn Of The Justice League(Basically a look at the DC Cinematic Universe that Batman V Superman will lead to)? It was hosted by Kevin Smith and Jeff Johns, as it also showed you a bit of a 1st look at the Wonder Woman movie, some concept arts, hinted of the Green Lantern Corps in this Universe, and the premiere of the 2nd Suicide Squad movie. While I did enjoy it, I don't think Kevin Smith was the right guy to host this to be honest. He was maybe a bit too enthusiastic, to the point of a nerd orgasm or 3. The really over the top moment to me was after the Wonder Woman footage, he was like "Wow. Wonder Woman on a horseback. That's like 'Here, take my money. Take all my kids School tuition!!'.".Considering that I think this special was more gear towards non-comic readers or those who aren't too familiar with the DC Universe to begin with, I found Smith's enthusiasm may come across as a bit a turn off for those people. I mean, he has every right to be super happy as a Geek, but I do think he should of toned it down, since this was to me, more of a General Audience thing. If this was more made for something like Comic Con or posted on a Batman V Superman website or something, I would of been okay with it, since it would more be focus on that audience. But for a General Audience, it could come across as a huge turn off, to the point that it reinforces the Nerd/Geek stereotype.
  6. Was thinking about it recently, but I think 1 feature I would of like to see was that when the panels are reveled, and you see the arsenal(Specifically, the 2 guns in the engine part), they have a button that pops out the 2 guns inside. Not necessary have to have missiles firing, but the guns poping out with a press of a button would of been a neat feature to add. It's still good though without it, but I think it would of made it a bit more cooler. Mako: In regares to 6" Total Heroes, I don't see why not. The Batmobile is big enough for both the Basic 6" figures and the Movie Masters style 6" figures(Which are actually a bit more taller than the Basic 6" figures, as they are around 6.25" or 6.5" tall). Matter of fact, according to this YouTube video review by WylunCustoms, you can actually fit a Mezco 6" Dark Knight Returns Batman inside as well. Here's the link to the review: - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7EIOlub5DWI
  7. I think it's a okay Batmobile, as it does seem something worth the $40 Canadian price point, even if it is a little hollow. I mean, it does what it does. I do wish the 1960's T.V. Batmobile was closer to that price point at TRU Canada back years ago, instead of being almost $60-$70 Canadian with no action features at all, as most comic book stores usually charge around the $100-$120 price point, regardless of licensing issues. Over all, the Batmobile's design is more like a cross between the Nolen Tumbler Batmobile, and a sleek Batmobile. In a way, it sort of reminds me of the Batman Arkham Video Game Batmobiles, as it seems like a mesh of the 2 featured in Asylum/City and Knight Games. I do like the action features. The break away panels are kind of neat an unique to this Batmobile compare to others(I'm guessing to simulate in the Trailer, Superman lifting the Panels from the Batmobile, as Batman comes out, and the 2 stare at each other). I do wonder what the colour of this Batmobile is. Is it Grey? Brown? Grey-ish Brown? Peralized Grey? That's the only thing bugging me. I'm okay with it not being Black or Blue(Like Batmobiles usually are), especially since the actual Movie BvS Batmobile isn't actually Black, according to some daytime photos of the car. But I am a bit confused as to what colour it is. I do see myself getting it though, most likely when there is a sale at least(Which I'm sure will happen through out the year). I might play the waiting game an see if they will re-release this in any way, such as colour variants(2005's Batman Begins has their Tumbler Batmobile re-released in like 3 different colours: Dark/Navy Blue, Dark/Navy Blue with silver stratches, and Black), store exclusives, and/or packaged with a Batman figure. We'll see what Toy Fair and/or SDCC will revel.
  8. YTV will be having a marathon of the Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on Saturday, December, 5, 2015, with 8 back to back episodes from 2:00p.m.-6:00p.m. There will still be 2 back to back episodes earlier on at 11:00a.m.-12:00p.m.
  9. On Saturday, November, 14, 2015, YTV will be showing 3 back to back episodes of the Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles from 2:30p.m.-4:00p.m., as these will be the last 3 episodes of Season 3. This will include the final 2 episodes of Season 3 from 3:00p.m.-4:00p.m. as 2 separate episodes instead of a 1 hour special, as they are "Annihilation: Earth!: Parts 1-2". So if you've never seen the final 2 episodes of Season 3 before back when they showed it as a 1 hour special about a month ago, and/or you want to watch it as 2 separate episodes, here is your chance to do so.
  10. I'm just wondering if they would ever consider doing a Batmobile and a Batgirl Cycle at least for these 8" figures or not? I think I heard they were doing some Mego style vans recently. If they did a Batmobile for these, and it was good quality stuff, I'd consider it.
  11. The Season 4 Premiere of the Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles CGI cartoon series is schedule to be having it's YTV Premiere on Saturday, October, 31, 2015(Halloween) at 11:00a.m., as the U.S. has either just started airing Season 4, or are about to. It would appear that Season 4 will only be on Saturdays at 11:00a.m., with Saturdays at 11:30a.m. and Thursdays at 4:30p.m. will still be older episodes from previous seasons. However, I assume as time goes on, Season 4 episodes that have already aired will be shown on the Saturdays at 11:30a.m. and Thursdays at 4:30p.m. too.
  12. For the Nickelodeon CGI Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series, YTV will be airing the 1 hour/2 back to back episodes of the 3rd Season Finale of the series for the 1st time on this Saturday, October, 3, 2015 at 11:00a.m.-12:00p.m., which is the 25th-26th episodes of the 3rd Season call "Annihilation: Earth: Parts 1-2".
  13. On Saturday, August, 15, 2015 from 2:00p.m.-6:00p.m., 8 back to back episodes of the Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be shown, as they are re-airing of older episodes from the current 3rd Season of the show. Do note that a new 3rd Season episode of the show is still schedule to air on the same Saturday as well at 11:00a.m. Also, for those who have Teletoon Retro, starting on Late Monday, August, 31, 2015/Early Tuesday, September, 1, 2015 at 5:59a.m., Teletoon Retro will be shutting down, as Corus Entertainment(The company that owns Teletoon and YTV) has decided to discontinue it, what with them doing some rearranging(Which includes them launching Disney Channel Canada on the same day). According to the Teletoon Retro website, some of the Retro shows will be moving to Teletoon when their Fall 2015 Schedule begins, however I have no idea if the original TMNT cartoon series is going to be 1 of them or not. Here's a link from the Teletoon Retro site for more details: - http://www.teletoonretro.com/en/channel-shift-faq/

(1.) For the Transformers Generations Combiner Wars line, Wave 3 of the Legends Class toys are now out in regular retail, as I only saw Groove for the Protectabots. I don't remember who the other figures are in this wave, but I think they are Warpath(Repaint and new head of the Legends Megatron from 2013 or 2014), and Viper(Repaint and new head of the Combiner Wars Powerglide, and in Cobra Rattler colours). (2.) NECA stuff that are out in Canadian Toys R Us(TRU) stores. Please note that I'm not sure if these are suppose to be TRU Exclusives or not, but they are special decos of figures. It is possible that these same NECA figures are also available in Comic Book and Collector based Toy Stores, but the prices I'm mentioning are TRU Canada's prices, as Comic Book and Collector stores may have different prices: - The 8 Bit Video Game Deco 6" Godzilla(I think based on a old 1980's NES video game) is out, as it's around $35. It's painted to match how the character looked in the game, as his back plates have been resculpted to look more "Video Game" like. - The between 6"-7" 25th Anniversary Dark Horse Comic Book Predator figure is now out, as that is around $35-$40(I forgot the exact price). It's colours is based on the Predator looked in the 1st issue from Dark Horse back in 1990, as the figure also includes a mini comic reprint of Issue 1 of the Dark Horse Comic Book Series.
  15. For the Summer, YTV will be showing movies every late night/early morning at around Midnight/12:00a.m. Some DC Comics based movies are going to be shown between late Monday, July, 20, 2015-Wednesday, July, 22, 2015 night/early Tuesday, July, 21, 2015-Thursday, July, 23, 2015 morning. Here's a list: - Late Monday, July, 20, 2015/Early Tuesday, July, 21, 2015: The 1989 Tim Burton Batman movie from around Midnight/12:00a.m.-2:45a.m. - Late Tuesday, July, 21, 2015/Early Wednesday, July, 22, 2015: 1980's Superman II from around Midnight/12:00a.m.-2:45a.m. - Late Wednesday, July, 22, 2015/Early Thursday, July, 23, 2015: 2006's Superman Returns from around Midnight/12:00a.m.-3:15a.m.
  16. Nice to see that Will Smith's Deadshot will have a full costume that's more closer to his comic book looks in this movie. Weither it's for a Flashback scene though, or he wears it during a Suicide Squad mission, I don't know.
  17. UPDATE: For the Nick TMNT series on YTV,"Battle For New York: Part 2" will indeed re-air on Saturday, July, 25, 2015 at 11:00a.m., as it will again be the 1st time it airs as a separate episode instead being part of a 1 hour special.

(1.) Transformers Stuff: - For the Combiner Wars line, Voyager Class Hot Spot(Of the Protectabots) and Cyclonus have been released. - The Toys R Us(TRU for short) Exclusive 2015 Robots In Disguise: Clash Of The Transformers toys are now out in Canadian TRU stores, which includes some repaints and/or remodfiying toys, including some Legion 2 Packs, Deluxes, and 3 Step Changers. Most of the remodifying toys are more in the 3 Step Changers. When comparing the prices of the single pack TRU Clash Of The Transformers stuff with the single regular stuff, all the Clash Of The Transformers stuff is going to be between $1-$3 more than the regular stuff in TRU Canada stores, as I guess it's due to the fact that this subline is Exclusive to TRU. - Also for the 2015 Robots In Disguise line, the Mini-cons are now out in retail, as those are around $8-$9. And the Super Bumblebee(A really large 3 Step Transformer toy that is about 19" tall, and has electronic features) is now out in retail as well for around $60. (2.) For Fisher Price's ImagaiNext line, there are now various toys based on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers out in retail. These include approx. 3" figure 2 packs, and a Vehicle/Zord/Megazord/Monster with a small figure to interact with it. (3.) Hasbro Marvel Stuff: - The 6" Marvel Legends Ant-man line is now out, as I've only seen Grim Reaper. The Build A Figure is Movie Ultron from Avengers: Age Of Ultron. - For the Avengers: Age Of Ultron 2.5" line, there are some new 2 pack sets out that include a Ultron figure. 1 of them is Ultron V.S. Iron Leader Iron Man with a vehicle of some sort. The other is a Ultron 3 pack that includes 2 Ultron Drones and 1 Ultron Prime(The main Ultron).
  19. On Saturday, July, 18, 2015 at 11:00a.m., for the Nick TMNT series, YTV will be re-airing "Battle For New York: Part 1", as this will be the 1st time they are airing it as 2 separate episodes. Back In late March 2015, YTV had aired Battle For New York as a 1 hour special. I'm assuming Part 2 will air on Saturday, July, 25, 2015.
  20. Some questions: I'm guessing you are referring to the Current Nick verison or Rocksteady, not the older Classic versions, correct? And if they are the Current Nick versions, is it the one that can swap out limbs(Like the Hasbro's Superhero Mashers type toys), or is it a Transforming one(LIke human to Rhino)? Granted, I think they only did the 4 Turtles in the Nick transforming line, but I just want to verify what you are asking? I don't have any of the Nick TMNT figures except for the M.O.U.S.E.R.S. pack, so my info may not be accurate. But I can at least still judge from photos and tell you what I know from a Pixal Dan review on the 1st Wave Mutations Swap figures. At any rate, if it is the Nick swapping limbs Mutations figure, according to Pixal Dan's video review of the 1st wave Mutations figures, Slash pretty much the same in terms of height like Rocksteady, in that the Mutations version is taller. So if you want a taller Slash, get the Mutations version, just like Rocksteady(Wanted to point this out). To be honest, due to the swapping out parts, I wouldn't be surprise if the Mutations figures limbs are kind of on the rubbery side. Matter of fact, in Pixal Dan's video review of the 1st wave Mutations figure, he pointed out that the parts do feel like a bit of a softer plastic used in order to do the swapping out. Perhaps the softer plastic does feel a bit rubbery. Judging from the pictures I've seen online in terms of deco(Regular Rocksteandy from TNI Review by Pixal Dan, and Mutations from Amazon.com), the Mutations Rocksteady has painted white nails, a lighter colour shirt that looks a bit closer to the original toon Rocksteady, and the Gold is a Darker Gold. The Regular version has a dark green shirt(Show accurate), no nails colour(So all grey, or if it is colour, it is a different shade of grey), and the Gold is kind of on the yellow side, or at least, a brighter shade of gold. Also, the regular version has 1 Gold tooth(Another show accurate trait), but the Mutations doesn't. It appears that the Mutations version might have painted eye balls but the regular version doesn't. So I would say that the Mutations has more paint on it than the regular, but the regular has a bit more of a accurate deco in regards to the shirt and the gold tooth. Unless during the show, Rocksteady changes his shirt from time to time, since it would just be a simple swap of colours. But I highly doubt it. I say that if the scale of your figures is more of a concern(In that it looks right if certain figures are taller than others), then I would suggest sticking with the Mutations Rocksteady you got. Besides, usually in all Playmates TMNT lines, it's usually the Turtles that get more articulation than the other characters, so articulation isn't to much of an issue. Besides, the Mutations Swap limbs line still has a decent amount of ball joints on the head, arms, and legs. Plus, both Rocksteady's still come with the same weapon accessories. And if the Mutations Rocksteady colours aren't accurate, you could always just pop off the joints, and paint the shirt more dark green and the 1 tooth gold(Just make sure you paint the correct tooth).

(1.) Transformers Stuff: - The Toys R Us(TRU for short) Exclusive Masterpiece G1 Bluestreak has been out in Canadian TRU stores for a few weeks now, as it costs around $90. - Wave 3 of the Deluxe Generations Combiner Wars toys is now out in Canadian regular retail, as they are the 4 members of the Protectobots. Haven't seen Voyager Hot Spot or Wave 3 Legends(Which includes Groove) yet. (2.) DC Collectables Batman: Arkham Knight(Based on the 4th Batman Arkham Game) is now out in comic book stores and collector toys stores. 1 of these Collector toy stores includes EB Games. While I'm at it, it would seem that EB Games is starting to carry some other DC Collectables stuff as well, as I think I recalled some DC Collectables Comic Book based stuff in there too. Not all of it. (3.) McFarlane stuff in regular retail: - Series 7 of The Walking Dead T.V. 5" figures are now out, as the only figure I recalled seeing was Rick Grime's kid, and the Mud Zombie. There is also an Exclusive Rick Grime, and a Exclusive Hershel figure out too, but I have no idea where these Exclusive figures can be found(Either in a physical store like EB Games, or a Online Exclusive like Amazon or Earth Entertainment). - Series 3 of the around 5" or 6" Halo 4 figures are out, including Commander Palmer, and Jul 'Mdama. These have been in EB Games for some time now by the way. - A 10" Daryl figure/statue like figure from The Walking Dead has been released, as it is around $40. (4.) For those who like Funko's POP Vinyl like figurines, they've now made some smaller stylizied Vinyl figurines in some poses, as I've seen some DC and The Walking Dead theme ones. They are in a blind box style packaging, and as far as I know, no way to find out who you are getting. (5.) Mattel WWE stuff in retail: - Some new 6" 2 packs are now out. - There is now a 6" Razor Ramon Greatest Moments figure out, as the Greatest Moments figures cost around $30 in regular retail. For those in the Toronto area, I should point out that Toys Toys Toys had the same Razor Ramon Greatest Hits figure for around $60 price range. (6.) 1:64 scale Hot Wheels stuff: - Some new basic(The approx. $1.50 price ones) Hot Wheels are now out, including some new vehicles and new decos of past releases. At last, nothing too interesting or exciting at this time. - For the Hot Wheels 1:64 Scale Pop Culture line(1 of those 1:64 scale lines that costs more that $1.50, that is basically Hot Wheels cars with a deco based on a property, as it includes colours, decos, logos, and/or artwork pictures of the property. Usually also includes more diecast on the toy, and has rubber wheels), there is now a Classic Marvel line, which has artwork based on some Marvel characters in either their 1st Appearance Look or Earliest Look from around the 1960's-1970's. There is 6 to collect, as they include Spider-man(Based on Amazing Fantasy# 15), Captain America(Based on his 1st cover appearance), Wolverine(Based on his 1st appearance in The Incredible Hulk# 181), Groot, Starlord(Who I thought at 1st was Nova), and Ant-man. The 1:64 Scale Hot Wheels Pop Culture line usually costs around $5.50 in regular retail. (7.) The NECA Aliens 3 Video Game Deco of the Alien Dog form the movie is now out in collector stores, maybe some comic book stores, as well as in TRU(In their Collectors Corner section of the store). It is basically the NECA Dog Alien figure done in video game colours from the Aliens 3 video game, as 1 side of the figure is done in blue, and the other done in red or brown. Prices vary depending on where you get it, but it seems to average around the $35-$50 price range. (8.) The 1st wave of Mezco's 6" Mortal Kombat figures are now out. I've only seen them at EB Games so far, however I'm sure that various comic book and/or collector toy stores have them too. EB had them for around $20. The 1st wave includes Radian, Scorpion, and Sub Zero.

I forgot to mention that the 1st Wave of the 2015 Spider-man 6" Marvel Legends Wave is now starting to show up regular retail stores. Before, I've only seen them in Comic Book Stores. I've only seen the Spider-man with pizza slice and swappable hands and head, as my brother saw Spider-girl.
  23. Pretty cool. Are these around the 2"-3" scale? If they are, maybe if Hasbro did their 2"-3" scale figures like these(Such as the Marvel ones out right now), maybe collectors would want them.

(1.) 1st off, got an update/correction on something I mentioned previously: 1st off, the Special Edition Ultimate Avengers set, I forgot to mention that it also contains the upper torso of the Sealth Armor looking Iron Man as well. Also, the Iron Man V.S. Iron Mongerl set I meant to say around the $30-$35 price point, as I actually don't remember the exact price. But it is around that price range. (2.) Transformers 2015 Robots In Disguise stuff: - The new wave of the 1 Step Changers that cost around the $10 price point is now out, as it includes Ninja Sideswipe, Stealth Bumblebee, and Fracture. I think Drift is part of this wave, but I don't recall seeing him at all. - The new wave Legion/Legends figures are now out, which includes Fixit, and Underbite. (3.) Wave 2 of the 2015 Kreo Transformers Blind Bag figures that cost around $4 is now out, as these are the themes where Classic Transformers characters are dress up like pirates, cowboys, knights, etc. However, the bags don't have a code for you to find out who you are getting, as Kreo has stop doing this since around last year.

(1.) The 12" Shredder from the Nick TMNT line is now out in regular retail. (2.) There is some 1:64 Jurassic World Matchbox vehicles, as they all seem to be vehicles with a Jurassic World theme deco to them, and not necessary vehicles based on the movie. So far in regular retail, I've only seen the Single pack vehicles for around $1.50. However, at Toys Toys Toys, I saw not only the U.S. package versions of the Single Pack vehicles for around $3(The U.S. packaging has a checklist at the back, as there are about 15 single vehicles to collect. The Canadian packaging doesn't have the checklist), but also some 2 packs for around $10(The 2 packs are basically an aircraft vehicle with a 1:64 scale vehicle). (3.) For the Marvel Superhero Mashers line, I saw some new sets: - 1 of them is a Avengers Mash 5 Pack, which features Iron Man(Which has Gold paint and plastic instead of Yellow), Captain America, Hulk, Thor, and Vision, as this set costs around the $65-$70 price point. - The other set is a Special Edition Ultimate Avengers Set. It features Cap(In a costume inspired by his Comic Book Commander Rogers/Captain America: The Winter Solider Movie Costume) with a Shield, A missile launcher. It also has some swapping parts form some other Avengers members, including heads for Thor, sunglasses Hawkeye, Hulk, and I'm guessing Stealth Armour Iron Man, along with Thor's Hammer, Hawkeye's Bow, a pair of Hulk Hands, and Stealth Iron Man Gloves. This set costs around $30. - Finally, I saw the Iron Man V.S. Iron Monger set for around $35.
