  1. like the topic says or is that too story specific or whatever the reason why mattel has the restriction thing? For some reason, I really enjoyed the series where eclipsed supes fought captain marvel and pretty much all the other heroes. I mean, weren't all the heroes in DC eclipsed at one point or another? Mattel could make eclipsed versions of supes and bats and so on...Eclipso himself, could be a BAF when he was that big mofo on the moon? Not sure if other ppl are down with this storyline but thought I'd put it out there.
  2. Merging the street fighter and darkstalkers line wouldn't be a bad idea as long as the background card and packaging reflected their series. That could also open up the idea of adding Rival schools....heck and even beyond capcom i.e. Samurai Spirits!!! @firedevil@ @hmmm@
  3. I thought the store opens next month with one figure from round 5 being available? Or will it just be open to pre-orders? All I know is downtime sucks!!! @grumpy@
  4. Thanks for the help dude. I did find a site that offers building service. If interested, I can let you know too. But I think they outsource the model to the artist. Think I'm gonna send a kit to them and see how good the service is before I try one myself...building one seems more than I can handle right now lol.
  5. I have mostly anime figure kits and would rather have them professionally painted/built but can't seem to find an artist locally so do any of you have any tips on building/painting a resin kit? What's discouraging me is how do I get rid of the excess resin from certain parts? Cut them off? What if I cut too deep and such... Then there's painting of the eyes and any thoughts on what kind of airbrush to get? At this point, any help would be good....lol.
  6. Thanks Skips and RobinIII. I totally glanced right over that...lol.
  7. I can't see the diff...@grumpy@. Reminds me of those 3-d posters lol. Am I missing the obvious?
  8. Well, I don't have a pic of it but I can 100% confirm that it is pirated because the japanese excl. colors for Round1 did have stickers on the packages (i.e. teal chun li-TRU, pink chun li-chara-net, evil ryu-kotobukiya). His sticker is supposed to be at the bottom right corner just above the yellow. I'd wait until you find a real one to shell out that much money for one fig. Kinda feel sorry for the guy who did buy it cuz I was tempted too...lol. Oh well, hope this helps, Apex
  9. I believe that japanese evil ryu is pirated as well. There is supposed to be 3 heads that are with the real japanese evil ryu where the third head is attached in a baggie (outside of package?). Inside the package, the standard head is supposed to be on evil ryu whereas the grinning face is to be the one that comes along in the baggie. So this version the seller is selling seems to have the grinning face on the figure and I don't see a third head anywhere. Japanese evil ryu was to be a hybrid between the SDCC evil ryu and US evil ryu. It's been awhile so I'm going on memory but others may
  10. Thanks for the help guys...long time TF collector but I'm starting to branch off to figures now. Can't believe it but, yeah, I'm losing interest in transformers. Man!!! Theres just so many figs though, where do I start? lol
  11. Hey all, Newbie here and relatively new to marvel legends and such. Trying to play catch up now so can anyone help clarify some questions I have: Since XMC white storm is the same figure as ML black storm, are the XMC magneto, phoenix, colossus, and iceman the same as their ML counterparts with different paint apps? Fantastic Four classics invisible woman has 3 versions just like the movie figure? Sorry if this has been addressed before. Any help would be appreciated....thanks.
