Could the mystery behind these pics posted awhile back on Hisstank be solved at last?
They still match up. No Viper or IG but if they are the same there would not be new ones anyway. There is a R&R, Deep Six, Gung-Ho and Battle Armor CC with Fred head.
I still think that Duke, Strom Shadow and Snake Eyes look alot like JVC versions. I wonder if they could be the Omega guys.
SE might also be the one coming w/ the Night Creeper-- anybody got a link to the cover for that pack-in comic?

I wish we got that Falcon, instead...

I really wish that I could say Castle Grayskull since it was the source of He-man's powers an all (and what else's Adam gonna transform infont of... a Krispy Kream's?). But even as a kid I found it kinda lame. Snake Mountain was a lot cooler with that creepy microphone. Agree or diasagree? Anybody got a better pick?

Does anyone have a foundness for Merman's "sea-skunk" look? I guess it was closer to his Filmation appearance and it was the look of the original toy... I like the option, though.

I just want to know if that trooper can sit normally or not. Hasbro fixed the mold for the Python Officer, but these pics don't show that.
And though I really liked the Python Patrol as a kid and still remain a nostalgic sucker that CG is just... so... yellow!

Could this be the Duke they're talking about? Showed up mysteriously on the Hisstank boards awhile ago with some other figures that seem to have turned out genuine.

No more liberties than Hasbro's taking with TF Duke (no one will miss the brown hair, but c'mon a green helmet?). Great job by the way!

When pics of the Impossible Toys Diaclone-Driver-sized Spike and Sparkplug first popped up online, I wasn't very impressed either. But now that I ACTUALLY have them, I can tell you they were definitely worth the price. They look great, fit in all the diaclone-mold TF's, and have little hard hats and wrenches that fit perfectly! If Exo-Spike is really "G1-scale" then he's probably only a little bigger than the drivers-- not much you can really do at that size and you actually have to distort some things (kinda like sculpters with larger-than-life statues) just to create a good likeness. All blown-up, it's going to look a little funny. Anyways, I'm impressed by what I.T. has put out so far in terms of 'official'-quality customs, so I'll hold off judgement until someone gets this in hand. I think it would be really cool if they also made a Daniel-version and the two could be distiguished from each other even at that size (only the heads would be different since Daniel was wearing "Dad's old Exo-suit").

Didn't Superman beat the Captain in Kingdom Come by just covering his mouth? In that case-- Orko could beat him! @loll@
There is nothing "self-proclaimed" about the Champion of Eternia. The upper limits of his power have never been quantified, for Grayskull is always there to insure that He-man is as powerful as he needs to be! Besides, Adam is a brave and clever warrior, a true son of Randor. If He-man can prove a match for Superman and still has his wits about him, I doubt the Captain will have much to grin about.

I'm only gonna grab the GL pack and the New Gods..... cause everybody else I already have ....
Same here....but I am glad others are getting a chance at figures they missed. Although I would have preferred the other Batgirl because I missed her too. Perhaps they will re-release her later (I hope).
I'm surprised they didn't go with Cassie, and went with Babs. I'm sure most collectors had more of a chance getting her instead of Cassie.
I wish they brightened up her colors or something to make her look like a better fit with Detective Batman and the rest of the Classics. This one looks just like the Batgirl from the old DCSH Two-Pack-- not even a varient!

My only problem with TFU Prowl was the paint job actually smudging under my fingertips, like it hadn't had enough time to cure since the factory. But I assumed that that was just mine, or at most a problem w/ that particular batch and that QC would catch up in a few weeks. Has it?

Knives and small pistols to fit all the empty holsters and sheaves we've been getting lately. I think that Hasbro shouldn't judge Joe by Star Wars standards (how many freakin' light sabers does a guy need any way) though we know from the Q/A's that they do. I'd buy accessory packs from HTS, but I'd also be up for Hasbro just tossing in a "gun rack" sprue with extra weapons just like they did in the Battle Corps days (see, not everything in the '90s was a bad idea ). They could cut costs by just leaving the things on the sprue and the 'loose' collectors could just clip 'em out themselves and distribute where needed. We seem to pay a premium for single pack guys anyways, compared to Comic 2-packs, vehicle drivers, and DVD Battle Packs, so why not add a little more value to our $6.99-$7.99 purchase?

I was already sold on He-man and then the pics of other Classics on He-man.org just blew me away. But if the packaging is cool like the box for SDCC King Greyskull, I might be lead to display that too along with my loose figures.

Taking a look at the picture, it seems that GH has a corrected crotch, which would be likely since a corrected version of that piece was used on a comic pack Stormshadow. Here's hoping that this new Gung Ho can fit in the New Era Sky Hawk.

I don't see how any of the TFU stuff isn't "living" up to classics. They all look like their respective characters, and have fitting alt modes. Not to mention they are vastly superior to just about every TF line that came before. That is enough, I think.
I think because they have reverted back to the brick style figures and don't even have articulation ... Or at least as much as the other classics do ... Heck I don't get why they went and redid bumblebee the first version was just fine imo & this one sucks compared to it !
Classics Bumblebee is a fantastic mold, but IMO looks a little too big next to other Classics like Rodimus, Voyager Optimus, and Starscream. He looks great w/ Alternators or Movie Leader Optimus, since G1 Bee was always a little guy. I bet that if they could have done more then two scales in the original Classics line, we would have gotten a smaller 'Bee. The new one looks fantastic for a Legends class and has convinced me not to get the Encore Minibot set.

So MOTU was pretty much about He-Man and Skeletor, but there was a vast number of cool supporting characters on each side that each had something unique to bring to the table, be it a great design, awesome action feature, or a new twist to the story line. But honestly some where more successful than others in both the heroic and morally-questionable armies. Was there one who stood out to you as a little too pointless and unneccessary? Maybe a villain who strived too hard for 'frightening' and 'sinister' and only wound out woefully ridiculous. A hero who's whole reason for being is wrapped up in a rather pointless ability or action feature. Or perhaps a comic relief character who just wasn't very funny. I never really took to Prince Adam and couldn't wait for him to drop the goof act and get to work as He-Man. Chime in and give your LEAST favorite Master of the Universe!
After watching a few of the old MOTU episodes and then reading the pre-Adam mini-comics, I've got to say that I've had a change of heart and have turned 180 on the Prince Adam issue. He-man needs Adam because the persona makes him more human and relatable. He-man's compassion, warmth and humor come out of his humility and vulnerabilty as Adam. But, I still think I like classic "pink-vest" Adam over the 200x version, because I prefer the Donald Blake-Thor dynamic of the original Filmation series. Wasn't that the point of Blake, after all, but to make Thor humble?
So, I guess that I need a new pick for suckiest character... Hmmm, Courtney Cox, maybe?

First the Walmart-Exclusive 'Legacy' Clasic Bumblebee, and now a repainted Starscream in retro stripes... Would anybody here be interested if they made more varients of the '06 Classics, not as new characters but in more retro or cooler paint jobs? Yeah, I guess it might be asking to open up a can of worms, but I'd be interested in a different take on Classic Optimus or Grimlock, kinda like Henkei w/o the chrome. Especially if they threw in some new accessories like Prime's trailer or Firebolt for Roddy!
-
You know, I'm still happy with my Henkei Starscream. And it looks like Legends-class may become my new favorite scale-- which is better for deluxes like Cyclonus and Screamer to look imposing and rain down terror!

Anybody seen a pic of the Long-haired Superman varient from the back? I think it would be cool if his cape had the yellow S-shield. I personally wouldn't pefer the long-hair over the classic businessman haircut, but I like the standard DCUC body better than the x-tra broadchested one from DCSH as well as the brighter, DCD-like colors.

I never thought that I could get sick of that IG Destro... On the bright side, Short Fuse looks pretty good.

Best news I've read all day!

Update: I didn't think this deserved it's own thread, but turns out Wave 12 isn't going to give us yet another Stormshadow but a somewhat retro army builder. Anybody remember the old early '90s mail-away forms that sold a blue Stormy and called him the Ninja Viper (if memory serves you could also send for a Quick Kick and Jinx 2-pack as well)? Looks like he's back to chuck shuriken at TFU Starduster! See for yourselves here.

Man, I'm not too proud to want a Viper, either. If only I could find one-- yes, Distribution is a harsh mistress!
