  1. I would have been happy to have at least got a New 52 Green Lantern and Cyborg to complete the New 52 Justice League that they were working on. I'll never understand why they made that lame puny Darkseid before they made those two figures. It really sucks to have a permanently incomplete team especially one as important as the new 52 Justice League.
  2. I personally love to order items from smalljoes.com. I think they have some of the fairest prices and they have a pretty good selection of Marvel Universe items for anyone interested in those.
  3. I'm also tired of the hunt, the other day I was at at Wal Mart picking up something random and they didn't have any dcuc. This is the same wal mart where I never saw any wave 10 in person, I heard rumors that they had a set but probably just a rumor. For a second I thought to myself "crap i'm gonna have to be here everynight looking for wave 11", and then I realized I had a preorder at BBTS and I was seriously relieved, my girlfriend was too, but thats another story.
  4. Well I'm finally done with wave 10, no thanks at all to my local wal mart. Every figure was obtained either through friends on this board, facebook, ebay and even Frank & Sons where I coughed up $30 for Man-Bat. I wanted to say thank you though to everyone here who either helped or did there best to do so. If I ever see them I will definitely try and hook some people up.
  5. This is another example of wal marts ineptness. I caved and got the target exclusive set and it was unbelievably easy to do so. You can scan the item and it will tell you whether or not there's items in the back, you can go on their website and see which stores in your area have them in stock. Both things that are not an option at Wal Mart. It's time Wal Mart entered the 21st century. If they're not going to pay their employees enough to give a S*(& then at least give us the tools to help ourselves.
  6. I think it's a combination of both. I just came back from my wal mart with no luck again. I'm honestly really starting to lose patience with this set. Wal mart and Mattell are an awful combination, they really bring out the worst in each company. Mattell's total inability to produce enough figures to meet demand, and Wal Mart's ignorance and broken distribution system. My store hasn't had anything on the shelves since early september. So the other day I had someone scan a upc and the system said there were two in stock. I explained that there wasn't anything in the store and the employee said it was weird that they didn't have any on order since even if there really were only two in stock that the system should have automatically ordered more a long time ago. I can't believe these two companies are as big as they are with the way they conduct business.
  7. So the one night I'm not able to make it to my wal mart after going every night since mid september, my wal mart got in a shipment of DC figures. A transformers collector told me some guy grabbed the whole box off the pallet and took off. This is just my luck, this has honestly happened with every single wal mart exclusive. I guess you apparently can't have a social life and be a collector at the same time, stupid me. Hopefully this means there will be more shipments but you never know.......
  8. Nothing again, this is getting really old.
  9. Doesn't sound that fair to me.
  10. Nada, not giving up though.
  11. Another night, and no figures. I know it's early but i'm really not surprised, this is so typical of wal mart exclusives, they just don't care about making product available. As if to almost point out how poorly wal mart handles exclusives, I spent one night of searching for the Public Enemies target exclusives and found them. So 32 nights of searching, vs. 1, hmmmmmmmmmm somethings a little off here.
  12. Another night of searching and another night of no results. Will try again tomorrow and so on until I find these things.
  13. To answer your question I'm located in southern california, the inland empire to be specific. I checked pretty much every other store between wal marts and targets in the area to see if there were any other signs of wave 7 and so far nothing just the remains of wave 6 at about 2 stores out of 10 or so. I think my wal mart may have been a fluke, but then again I did find wave 6 there pretty early too. And to answer the other question i'm not 100% sure the guy was an actual scalper, but he just had a real scalper vibe to him and I think i've seen him around, just kinda weird, did not look like your typical fanboy. I hope online retailers start getting this soon because i can't be there everyday like I apparently need to be to get anything from this wave. The barry allen figure looked awesome though as it was walking away. @firedevil@ Sounds like I live near you. Here's the scoop on Scalpers in our area. I know of 4 and I have gotten into an argument with one. I have straight up asked them if they were scalpers all said that they were and were kind of offended. When I see them in the stores I grab everything that I think they might get and hold on to it until they leave @loll@ @loll@ . Here is the list a short Filipino guy that is about 30 and has a mold on his forehead, he drives a small car yellow, and is know as "The Transformer guy" to the store employees. A young black guy about 19 always wears all black skinny and tall. A White guy about late 30's has a web site to sell his scalped stuff. bad prices....his ad is featured here, and finally an old late 50's black guy balding. Also One of them if not all check this site to see were they can look for things......you might be one of them @loll@ That's why I never post about were I got things unless I know you, I have met some of you guys in real life and have traded stuff with, so you guys I'll let know were I find things @loll@ . Maybe we'll meet and you'll be in the circle of trust @loll@ @loll@ @loll@ I think our area is pretty saturated with scalpers. On the one hand were pretty fortunate that we have so many targets and wal marts in a fairly small area, however it's also usually a pain to find anything, at least for me. Yea i'm hesitant to post too many details about where I find things for the same reason. When I found wave 6 I left behind a ton of other figures about 3 captain marvels, hawkmans etc.. From now on though if I find a big shipment I'll let you know by pm cause we definitely are pretty close geographically.
  14. Anyone see anymore of these in southern california lately? I haven't seen anything and i've been checking daily.

  16. I just saw wave 7 tonight at my local wal mart. Unfortunately I was literally a minute late (thanks to my stupid car), and got to watch a scalper walk off with The flash, kid flash and captain cold. This is crazy i'm still trying to find a replacement for my defective red and blue supes from wave 6.
  17. I think mattel should start stamping the figure parts with little codes , like an L for left leg, R for right leg. It seems like the factory workers are having a really hard time telling them apart. Must be all the fumes in the factory or something.
  18. I know this would probably be difficult or impossible for collectors, but I think we need to seriously consider BOYCOTTING this line until mattel addresses our grievances regarding the quality and availability of these figures. Honestly I just purchased a black lightning off of ebay because i'm pretty sure I'll never see him in stores and surprise surprise, two left feet, frozen left arm joint, frozen left hip joint. Last week I got a shipment of wave 4, and 3 out of the 6 figures were defective. This is unacceptable and in my opinion and i'm sure in the opinion of many other collectors is a disaster. I've never collected a line with this many defects before and i'm seriously considering giving up on this line. Does anyone else think we need to BOYCOTT this line?
  19. Joefreak, I know exactly what you mean, thats the figure I was most looking forward to seeing as well. I feel like we've really been teased with the possibility of a new version of him for years now as well. I think we should start some kind of petition, because this is becoming ridiculous. I even spoke with one of the Hasbro reps at the San Diego comic con a few years ago and told them to please make a Falcon figure, they told me they would see what they could do. I honestly got the feeling they don't realize there's such a demand for the figure, and perhaps a petition is the only way to get their attention.
  20. So I finally went ahead and got the rest of the set on e bay, for one I just started a new job and fruitless nightly trips to wal mart aren't exactly sensible anymore, and two i'm actually getting paychecks again so I can afford to pay a little more on e bay. However I also noticed that there aren't many of these figures left on e bay either. Now when the scalpers can't even keep themselves stocked, we know there is definitely a problem. Maybe this really is the end of the line for this set. I hope not cause it just stinks that people can't finish their giant men, nothing would bother me more than just having random pieces hanging around that you can't even join together. Also havok is a pain in the butt, he was also the most expensive one on ebay. Why did toybiz think it was a good idea to shortpack him?? I think they should stop this shortpack nonsense, it's just bad business to make certain figures scarce, it's a scalpers dream come true really. Maybe if toybiz is actually making more of these they could adjust the ratios a little, just to make things not so impossible.
  21. I swear I am cursed by this wave. I found a good deal for a Havok on ebay, so i jumped on it. The seller said they preferred credit card payments. I had no problem with this so I went ahead and paid him, and two days later I get an e mail from ebay security telling me that the sellers account has been used by a third party and therefore the sale was illegitimate and that I should cancel my credit card immediately. I seriously can't catch a break with this wave.
  22. So I swing by my Wal Mart today and it looks like instead of getting a shipment of the giant man wave, they got the lame apocalypse wave. I have a bad feeling about this, it looks like they really are out of the giant man wave. I guess some people were right about Wal Mart and its crappy track record with exclusives, one big shipment and then nada. I'm really trying to resist evil bay, but i'm running out of options and patience. Does anyone here have a Havok figure that they would be willing to sell?
