  1. I am curious to see if Mattel puts out anything for "FauxBusters"

I really doubt it. After all movies hardly have any tie ins anymore.

True, unless you're owned by Disney...and even then, it's scant.

  2. wore a vintage looking Millenium Falcon t-shirt to work that i got for X-mas...asked by several people if I was excited for the new movie(s.) I said with a smile, "Not really," and let the conversation die.

then maybe you guys can help me with the $2 price increase? Ive got a mortgage and student loans to pay, after all.

      yojoebro82

Ha! It's a $3 hike the last time I looked at Target. I'm still betting the new movie figures will come in at an even $15.

  3. Ant-man: more tired jokes about companies/screenwriters being embarassed by their property's name. We get it, we all get it and buy it over and over again in spades

    1. yojoebro82

      yojoebro82

Marvel is getting into the characters that I'm not that invested in. Consequently, it could surprise me with its goodness (like GOTG did) or it could suck and I won't really care. To me the trailer was, "Eh..." but if this ended up being a superhero version of Honey I Shrunk the Kids, I'd be fine with that.

I think the wonder that comes with "they're making an Ant-man movie?" would be enough. I was curious. I mean, I like Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas as well, but then they roll out the "jokes."

  4. just got the Damian Wayne Robin...anyone else think he looks like Leo Gorcey?

  5. Glory to God on the highest, and peace on earth to men of good will.

  6. Sony hacked email says Amy Pascal loves the idea of Idris Elba as James Bond...HERE WE GO AGAIN.

Is it possible he could play a good James Bond? If "yes", then go for it.

Remember Colin Salmon? He had an original character that could have equaled 007 without being 007, if they had given him more to do/development. Sigh...well, at least he's good on Arrow now...oh, wait...he's gone....dammit.

    4. yojoebro82

The media has been on high alert looking for anyone and everyone who nay-says this possible new Bond casting. And when they find that person, guess what they get labeled as...Of course, look hard enough for anything and you'll find it. https://tv.yahoo.com/news/rush-limbaugh-says-african-english-184900750.html

  7. Bridge Direct LARGE-SCALE Smaug is a joke! REFUND!

  8. Sony's hacked email reveals wonderfully horrible things for Ghostbusters fans.

  9. Been raking in the toys lately. Still waiting on a huge Matty order, but snagged Monsieur Mallah/Brain, NECA Batman, MS Venom, and Thrasher Suit Batman this week

    1. yojoebro82

      yojoebro82

My wife bought me that Venom last week as a reward for busting @$$ at work. The figure is a stunner and a must-own. Thrasher Batman is on my radar but I haven't pulled the trigger yet.

    2. featofstrength

      featofstrength

I'll post pics of Thrasher when he gets here today. Got him cheaper than most places from DCBService ($34). I sold Toy Biz Amazing Spider-man Venom (40 something bucks) to make room for the Select version...having that McFarlane head: I will never need another Venom again. Quite a deal on Wal-mart ($22 and site to store shipping)

    3. yojoebro82

      yojoebro82

That's my goal when buying any superhero figure...to never have to buy another version. I love that McFarlane head too.

  10. Avengers 2? Bah! Star Wars 7? Pfffft! I'm geared up for Bond 24: SPECTRE!

So am I! I have seen every Bond film in the cinema since 1977!

I'm always up for a new Bond. I've enjoyed Craig's run. Heard Spectre has a $300 mil price tag.

  11. Holy balls...just scored a bunch of needed DCUC figures for 6 bucks each on Matty!

  12. Glad I live in Springfield, MO...but ive got my shotgun ready if the race wars wanna knock on my door. Oh, and nobody burns down a Little Caesars in my town! NOBODY!

LMAO, Gruncast I would be like the gun store owner in Dawn of the Dead sitting on the roof with a sniper rifle, stand my ground never sounded so sweet.

Feat touched on it: A lot of those people aren't out for justice and don't even live around there. They just know that it's about to get really easy for them to commit crime so they come in from God knows where. Cowards.

Im also sick of seeing hashtags with things like "blacklivesmatter." Of course they do...ALL HUMAN LIFE MATTERS. But it's ignorant to remove free will and poor choices from the bottom line, you f-ing racists.

  13. I missed the news about the movie Flash that broke over a month ago...hahahaha, THAT'S the guy?!

It's just that the article I saw on Facebook used a picture of him in which he had some weird makeup and it looked like he was wearing lip gloss so of course everyone used that and went to town with it.

    3. yojoebro82

      yojoebro82

I know they picked a movie Flash but I didn't bother to click and see what the dude looked like. It's still a mystery to me. I really don't care. I say put Gustin and Amel on the big screen whenever WB decides to do their JLAgasm.

      I'd be down for that.

  14. got a copy of "The Star Wars Cookbook II" in the mail today..."The Force Frittata" - hmmm...absurd, yet somewhat exciting title. Anyone wanna try it for Life Day?

  15. Sam Mendes has been holding up Daniel Craig's time as Bond again. Skyfall made money, but Mendes is a turd.

  16. I dont understand the buzz about Amelia Earhart's plane fragment. So what if it was an emergency landing and not a crash. The end (eaten by coconut crabs) reported last year is still valid and much more interesting.

Did you see the press get the brush off when they confronted Leo DiCaprio about his hypocrisy on marching for the climate, yet arriving via private jet? Great role models out there, kiddies.

    3. Belmont13

      Belmont13

Celebrities are the biggest hypocrites ever and the liberal ones who support causes and whatnot are the worse. We all know they give money to charities as a tax write off and the ones that are always protesting one thing or the other are the ones who have the most money to spare. This is why a long time ago I learned to ignore a celebrity's personal life they tend to be more likeable that way.

    4. yojoebro82

      yojoebro82

I did not hear what Affleck said personally but it sounds like lunacy. You almost have to ignore these people and their opinions on these issues or you would have no fun at the movies. Like everyone says above, these are some of the most spoiled, coddled people in America who are told on a daily basis that they are special. Just shut up and make a movie.

  20. Another great 007 villain gone: RIP, Geoffrey Holder...The Baron never dies!

  21. Twin Peaks coming back is definitely more surprising, more risky, and more welcome. You can keep your galaxy far, far away...I'm heading north...Falling...falling...all over again....

    1. featofstrength

remake? Hopefully its a continuation...it's been a long time coming to get Agent Cooper out of the Black lodge. The only problem out there now is combatting the dozens of running shows that have ripped off Twin Peaks' motif and coming out ahead of the pack.

  22. My wife, a friend, and I run a local tv show out of a spare bedroom of my house. I am proud of that accomplishment, but cant help but feel a lil irked that a competing show is begging for money on the internet to fund their extravagant filming space and people are actually giving it to them. Boy, it would be nice to ask strangers to pay for my mortgage, but how @##@@ low and lazy is that?
