DC Superheroes Sucker Punch! Yay!
Seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeex!

As expected, "baseball's best fans" are quick to weigh in in the typical petulant, racist, homophobic, vulgar, and violent fashion:

More 5 POA #$##. Thank you Hasbro.
What's worse is the fans will not get to discuss 3.75 figures without this comment being repeated with slight variations ad nauseam for the next six months or so. Just like with the TFA line last year.
There will be comments like this as long as Hasbro won't listen to faithful collectors asking for nothing but choice.
These cries... remind me of the Oasis guy:

I found the Koopa Paratrooper and I'm pretty happy with his articulation, especially considering the one SH Figuarts did is basically a statue with no articulation at all.
Koopas are a favorite of mine. I like turtles in general and been doodling them throughout my life. They've always ended up taking a form similar to the Koopa Troopers. Jacks needs to do more!
Sweet! This wave is in my Pile of Loot at BBTS. I want to snag another paratrooper (single sold out on BBTS), but I assume everyone will be doing the same for army building.
I recently picked up the Nendoroid Kirby...so much fun, and a great scale with the Jakks/Figuarts toys.

I agree with most of what u said, Joe. It was overlong, and Apocalypse's plan was kinda muddled, but its nowhere near as bad or deserving of its Tomatometer score (unlike BvS). It's no X2 or DoFP, but its also no X3 or Wolverine Origins. It may just be rehashing an idea on a grander scale, but the Quicksilver scene is worth the price of admission (suck it, Kick-Ass.) Jennifer Lawrence was not as center stage as the marketing would have us believe... still... was hoping Apocalypse would finish her off. The character has gone as far as needed, and its getting crowded... not to mention money better spent elsewhere.

Yeah, it is a better trailer.

Riiiight...like complaining about police firing laser guns on Spider-man TAS, while over on Batman TAS they fire "real" bullets?
You know what I meant, Snoke-lover.

So am I right that the only two you need to make the "ultimate" Ren would be the deluxe and the unmasked version?
I have Unmasked and the super articulated Walmart one. I've read that the unmasked head fits on the s.a. version but haven't tried it myself. I don't have helmet-only version and I'm really weary of getting another Kylo.
No matter what. Hasbro doing an official "ultimate" Kylo Ren is a 100% guarantee. It's just a matter of when.
I never saw the articulated one, so I wouldn't know about that. But, yeah, I think that the hood from the unmasked figure looks pretty good on the helmet only deluxe figure.
-
I really like unmasked Kylo. Yeah I overpaid but if it means putting a cap on this line and calling it "done" I think it's worth it. Nice mix of mean and pouty in the face sculpt...really nice sculpt overall. I'll have to take some pics.
It is a great figure. But what irks me is having to buy 3 figures to get the perfect Kylo configuration. The deluxe figure minus the down-hood cloak...that cape went to unmasked Kylo. And the helmet head popped of makes a great accessory. Then, the hood that came with the unmasked Kylo looks pretty good on the deluxe head that was just the helmut, making the original masked, non removable hooded Kylo figure obsolete.
Just wait for the inevitable charred vader head pack-in...

Whenever someone says "good popcorn movie" nowadays, I think of this:
It's used too often to excuse horrible filmmaking. I've also heard it in conjunction with "shut off your brain."
I could be wrong about the whole, but for now there is no amount of popcorn escapism/nostalgia to sell me on the unfunny trailers, CGI fakery, and Ms Slimer.

Won $50 placing second in a Star Wars trivia night at a bar downtown last Thursday (go team "Beatrice Arthur and the Yub Nubs!")...then blew it mostly on SW toys the following weekend.
found the first order stormtrooper squad leader and helmet-less Kylo Ren at TRU
went across the street to a comic shop and scored Unkar Plutt, Admiral Akbar, Haask Thug, and Fifth Brother for 25% off on Free Comic Book Day

First off, I get the inflation of the dollar, poor economy, oil speculation, license rights, blah blah blah...$40 James Bond sideshow doll days from 2002 are over, I get it.
But, I have a hard time looking between the 2008 Sideshow Raiders Indy priced at $90 and their recent TOD Indy priced at $230 and justifying that increase in cost.
Sure, the sculpt is a hair better and maybe they tweaked the standard body buck, but less accessories (not even a leather jacket or separate head) and features.
A justifiable tag for middleground in this instance would be closer to $150-175...imo...but hey, Hot Toys base price is around $230, so why not? The moving eye feature is fun, but...#$##, man.
Mattel provided a great value on their Superman and Ghostbuster 12in figures. Sure the paint and sculpts could be improved...but for $170 more? No thanks.
-
Haha I hear ya about making a habit out of it. 89 Bats and Joker are the most expensive toys I've paid out for. I don't regret it.
I'm on the fence on getting Sideshow's TOD Indiana Jones...but id probably shell out for him if they had Mola Ram to buy as well
Hot Toys are great high end collectibles but...I hate that sideshow and other companies feel they can match the quality, and more so, the price. There SHOULD be a middleground out there for 12in scale, but its big bucks or nothing. Here's looking forward to Hasbro's $50 Marvel Icons... hope they can do the same with Star Wars and Indy.

The mystery is solved! We now know why C3PO has a red arm. Go get C3PO #1 in comic stores NOW to find out.
.....or save $4.99 and just google it https://www.yahoo.com/tech/now-know-why-c-3po-had-red-arm-121433350.html
Now you know. And knowing is half the battle.

I just wanna add two things: "Darby O'Gill and the Little People" and "Fury Road."
-
He is on the cover... sort of....
Yep, a deleted shot of the car gets featured, but not Winston.
And while we're at it, put Gb2 Slimer on the Gb1 cover, and Gb1 Slimer on the Gb2 cover. (pushes up nerd glasses)

As for Gal Gadot as WW; loved her, she steals every scene she's in. She plays badass WW quite well..lol.
Especially when you consider she does it without dipping into the Xena/Ripley cliché-jar. She was great throughout the film, but what really sold me was the quick smile during the Doomsday battle. THIS woman was brought up a warrior and has seen some $#!+!
Can't wait for that solo picture.
I liked what little she was in, but I had a hard time understanding what she was saying with her accent.
I know, I know...go to bed old man.

Its kind of a pity the role of Luthor was so horribly miscast (my only real bug-a-boo with the whole film), as Luthor was actually presented the way I've wanted to see him since I first saw Superman: The Movie way back in '78. This is a guy who's been reading his Machiavelli: kryptonite, monsters, alien technology, manipulating the highest offices of the government, kidnapping; it makes me look back at Gene Hackman and Kevin Spacey's ridiculously heavy handed real estate scams and laugh.
Didn't a newspaper imply that Lex flat out murdered (assumed shot) security guards in Superman: The Movie? And now we have him belittling people with Jolly Ranchers and peeing in mason jars. What's next?

I saw the movie. It is garbage. But, thanks for being dismissive of me actually making the effort to see something and be able to form my own opinion.
I've got a word for you, and the small group of fans resisting valid criticism: Ignorant.
Enjoy your bliss (Or, if it helps you, Granny's Peach Tea.)
And should you ever decide to take a script analysis, philosophy, or filmmaking course, you still have a few days to complete your FAFSA for the upcoming school year. File again, every year, around February!

The winning side = fans of a money making turd?
Congrats... but you could have joined up with the Autobots four movies back. At least Bay isn't pretentious about the #$## he's selling.

I liked Robert Altman's Popeye for the little good it offers and for my own personal sentiments, but I will admit it's a terrible mess of a movie.
