Not sure about the title, but I just think that the title refers to Luke being the last of the Jedi at the moment. Rey's only started her training and Kylo Ren killed off the recruits Luke had before. At this moment I have hope for the movie.

I wish it was 4 words to keep the flow of all the trilogies.

Don't forget, Jedi is also plural! :D

  1. My town is getting the largest Alamo Drafthouse in the nation...I dont get the appeal.

  2. DC Superheroes Sucker Punch! Yay! Seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeex!
  3. As expected, "baseball's best fans" are quick to weigh in in the typical petulant, racist, homophobic, vulgar, and violent fashion: https://twitter.com/bestfansstlouis
  4. Star Wars is as popular as ever! I just bought 3 3.75 scale TFA tie fighters for 9 bucks each.

Been busy trolling the Ghostbusters reboot... now that its been stomped flat, I'm free to roam again.

  5. What's worse is the fans will not get to discuss 3.75 figures without this comment being repeated with slight variations ad nauseam for the next six months or so. Just like with the TFA line last year. There will be comments like this as long as Hasbro won't listen to faithful collectors asking for nothing but choice. These cries... remind me of the Oasis guy: http://www.nbc.com/saturday-night-live/video/prime-ministers-questions/n10974
  6. The Killing Joke adaptation was absolute trash.

I'm reading reviews that are in complete agreement. The wife seemed interested in seeing this movie but knowing what a Batgirl fan she is, I think I'll steer her away from it. Can DC stop sucking off of this and DKR now? Please? How about NEW Batman stories?

  7. Must have that Batcave playset! But I will be repainting that Kryptonite green cage first thing.

How will you be reminded that modern Batman and Superman should always be fighting? Always.

Haha... true. And judging by the amount of humor in the JL teaser, Sour Supes must be detained or killed to move forward

It's official title is now the "Kelvin Timeline". As for gay Sulu, I have two comments: Art imitates life and INCLUSIVENESS!!!!

At least Sulu Prime dislikes the move...who saw that coming? What? Lost in Space SERIES? Oh, the pain! The Paaaain!

  9. Ouch...just got paid and X-men legends AND Fortress Maximus come into stock. I'm toy rich, beeyotch!

Depending on when you ordered, those X-Men are starting to ship now. Some fanboys are even providing play-by-play of when their account was charged, when they received their shipping notice, and what city their X-Men toys are currently in. You could cut the tension with a knife!

  10. Sweet! This wave is in my Pile of Loot at BBTS. I want to snag another paratrooper (single sold out on BBTS), but I assume everyone will be doing the same for army building. I recently picked up the Nendoroid Kirby...so much fun, and a great scale with the Jakks/Figuarts toys.
  11. I agree with most of what u said, Joe. It was overlong, and Apocalypse's plan was kinda muddled, but its nowhere near as bad or deserving of its Tomatometer score (unlike BvS). It's no X2 or DoFP, but its also no X3 or Wolverine Origins. It may just be rehashing an idea on a grander scale, but the Quicksilver scene is worth the price of admission (suck it, Kick-Ass.) Jennifer Lawrence was not as center stage as the marketing would have us believe... still... was hoping Apocalypse would finish her off. The character has gone as far as needed, and its getting crowded... not to mention money better spent elsewhere.
  12. Near midnight Walmart visit in neighboring town after visiting the parents...found TFA Leia and Han! Shocking!

You mean the snow jacket and blue dress versions? I'm not as excited for those two but I'll probably grab them if I see them. I wanted purple vest Leia first...

  13. Chewbacca Mom and family are getting full college scholarships...yep...hard work and determination...or viral videos...

Disney's way of saying "Thanks for selling all of our product that was otherwise heading for the clearance racks".

    2. yojoebro82

      yojoebro82

I'm behind on my flash in the pan pop culture news. I know Chewbacca mom exists but I never set aside time in my day to read about her. Now I hear there's something with a gorilla and a baby......? Who knows.

  14. gah! Was waiting on that electronic chewbacca mask to go deep clearance, then some lady makes youtube video and drives up the interest and the prices!

  15. It's that special time of year again...the time to grab your hair and scream, "F*** SDCC exclusives!!!"

  16. got the Wally exclusive movie Turtles...extra heads and accessories: totally worth it if you skipped the last round

    1. yojoebro82

      yojoebro82

I did skip the last round and I think I may have to bite. Been in a Turtles mood lately.

  17. Riiiight...like complaining about police firing laser guns on Spider-man TAS, while over on Batman TAS they fire "real" bullets? You know what I meant, Snoke-lover.
  18. I never saw the articulated one, so I wouldn't know about that. But, yeah, I think that the hood from the unmasked figure looks pretty good on the helmet only deluxe figure.
  19. It is a great figure. But what irks me is having to buy 3 figures to get the perfect Kylo configuration. The deluxe figure minus the down-hood cloak...that cape went to unmasked Kylo. And the helmet head popped of makes a great accessory. Then, the hood that came with the unmasked Kylo looks pretty good on the deluxe head that was just the helmut, making the original masked, non removable hooded Kylo figure obsolete. Just wait for the inevitable charred vader head pack-in...
  20. Whenever someone says "good popcorn movie" nowadays, I think of this: It's used too often to excuse horrible filmmaking. I've also heard it in conjunction with "shut off your brain." I could be wrong about the whole, but for now there is no amount of popcorn escapism/nostalgia to sell me on the unfunny trailers, CGI fakery, and Ms Slimer.
  21. Won $50 placing second in a Star Wars trivia night at a bar downtown last Thursday (go team "Beatrice Arthur and the Yub Nubs!")...then blew it mostly on SW toys the following weekend. found the first order stormtrooper squad leader and helmet-less Kylo Ren at TRU went across the street to a comic shop and scored Unkar Plutt, Admiral Akbar, Haask Thug, and Fifth Brother for 25% off on Free Comic Book Day
  22. Was feeling great this morning until I hit the social media...ugh...May 4th.

It's not like it's a new thing. It's literally been around almost since the beginning. 1979 at least.

No... the only real Star Wars day is November 17th...and its been a thing since 1978. DUH :P
