  1. my wife and I picked one up when they first came out...it's for our soon to be born child... @wink@
  2. according to Marvel Zombies vs Army of Darkness, the plague was a paradementional virus that was to infect super powered beings only. with that said, how would it infect the Punisher, Kingpin, Ironman, etc...who are just normal humans with out their gear? a pannel from Dead Days has Magneto saying he struck the deal that brought the virus to Earth thinking it only infected humans and not mutants, so we still don't know exactly where it came from considering Sentry was the one who landed on that Earth and started infecting/feeding on the population. i hope this is explained... Also, according to Black Panther #28(?), the F4 are transported to the Zombie Universe, and this appears to happen around the same time as Ultimate Doom and the Frightful Four are transported back to the Zombie Earth. We could have our first official 616/Ultimate characters meeting face to face!
  3. wouldn't Flashzarro be the slowest man alive? the muscle mass works for me with this custom because if he is muscle bound, he isn't moving anywhere quickly. Nice Yellow Lantern...interesting concept... Batzarro is perfect. Bizarro...maybe it is the kool-aid on his lips, but something about that head just doesn't look right...
  4. Mags made a deal with the infected Sentry to thin out the non-mutants because he assumed that it would only infect humans, like the Legacy Virus only infected the mutants (at first). there are a few characters that should not have been infected, though we don't see all the Marvel characters in this universe. Skids would not be infected as her force field is an automatic defence reaction and it has been shown to not break, though it has bent when someone used enough will. The aformentioned mechanical characters would not be infected, now would the reanimated characters? I think Ghost Rider was infected, though he was not in human form in the comic. That could be written off that he was bitten when not transformed, but I doubt it. We saw the Kingpen and the Owl infected, though they were shot in the head by the Punisher and were dead long before they were bitten. I guess the only explination is that in this universe, those with powers are not as powerfull as those in the 616 universe. I do find it odd that Mr Fantastic was so quick to beieve that being infected was a better way to live then not...
  5. hell, just let Ben smoke a cigar and they will give it an 'R' raiting! PG is lame nowadays... Oh, and if you watch some of the trailers for the movie, the girl in question is the blonde Johnny winks at when they are talking to the military...
  6. Looking at IMDB, I noticed a character that peaked my interest. Could make for an interesting F4 III...
  7. eh, wouldn't be the first time the toy bio didn't match the cartoon/comic... i prefer the ripping out of his voice box by Megs to a lucky shot from a grunt Decepticon...
  8. well, in House of M, Iron Man was basicaly a transformer...well, drawn by Pat Lee he looked like he should have been.
  9. that Hulkbuster Mk. 2 armor looks interesting! i wonder if it will be made in action figure form...
  10. Jericho has been canceled... @cussing@ back to not watching CBS...
  11. This would be the second Marvel Broadway Musical...anyone else remember Captain America: The Musical? For thsoe that don't: In 1985, a musical about Captain America was announced for Broadway. The piece, written by Mel Mandel and Norman Sachs, never actually premiered, although recordings of the score have surfaced. On the back of several Marvel comics that year was an advertisement for the production and offered one lucky boy or girl to be Bucky...or something like that...
  12. is it wrong of me to want a Magnutz and a Robo-killer? nice work you did there! I can totally see these characters in The Tick's universe...
  13. Ok, that is one of the best customs I have seen in a while! Great use of parts, and the light up feature just complets the coolness of the figure. Even though they don't, I like how the eyes appear to light up. I would buy this if it was a mass-market toy.
  14. looks like the shield that was used in the 1987 Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade Marvel float...
  15. it seems to me that Marvel is doing this in conjunction with the Steven Colbert Report...and if they are, i really don't give a $#!+ where this is going... now, unless this is tied to that image of Captian Iron America, then I will pay attention...
  16. i love how the MPAA rates movies. Alien robots rampaging in the streets = R (Before big name Director/Producer throws around his clout), Christian football movie = R (saying having faith is a suggestive theme), Teen market movie with profanity, sex, and flashes of full nudity = PG-13 if they can cut out the sceen where some guy is cought with a chicken... (fictional movie, but it has happened)
  17. yeah, the KB outlet around here still has a crap load of TB Marvel figures...they are all FF:TM Things, and the last 2 ML Series, but there are a ton left...
  18. i can see this as a plot line to take Steve Rogers out of the picture and allow whatever Stark/SHIELD/Fury is planning to happen. Frank Castle as Captain America would be like Knightfall when Batman was replaced by Az-Bats. Remember the promos for the post-CW comics talked about Wolverine not believing what has happened and going off to find the truth? I think this is what he will be doing...looking for the real Steve Rogers. It will probably end up being something related to the Red Skull. also, maybe this does have something to do with that cover shot that was posted a couple months ago of Ironman in Cap's colors that was changed recently to be normal Ironman with the shield in hand. I'm mad a hell that they would kill Cap, even if it is just for a short time. I mean, they have done things like this in the past with him, and other major characters, and as we all know, no one is ever really dead in the comics except for Uncle Ben, and Bucky...oh wait...
  19. this is being done by Mattel...Hasbro wo...wait, this is basically DC's answer to Marvel's Transmorphs or whatever the hell they were called... A big Hello and Welcome to 3 years ago goes out to Mattel and DC...
  20. this is almost as bad at the old Batman figures from the 90s that were basically based on a color wheel and a gimick what would have never actually be used by him...Wile-e-coyote maybe, but not Bats... now Bats has transforming vehicles that are basically Robotech/Transformer/Microman exosuits... the transforming batmobile looks like the Bat Sentries from Kingdom Come, which is cool, but over kiddy-fied...and the use of bright colors on the batjet i will never understand...
  21. is that supposed to be some kind of Blackberry thing? It's freaking awesome whatever it is... Laserbeak has returned...
  22. i'm wondering that about the hands too...
