  1. Can you post pics of Robin with the rest of the Titans?
  2. Is there any chance on seeing a re-relase of the E-Hobby exclusive Clear Mirage figure at some point?
  3. Are there any pics or news on what upcoming Masterpiece editions are coming out in 2008?
  4. I like how you defend "Hasbro the Arrogant". You say they need time to grow as Toybiz did? What I dont understand is why they need to "grow" in the first place. Toybiz gave then an easy pass to goal. The Marvel Legends line was already a hit. All Hasbro had to do is run the ball and score. But they wanted to show boat and put the Hasbro touch on the line. They had the molds the sales were there and the customer base. I just dont see why they felt the need to spend money on sketchy articulation, and other add in when it was not necessary. Just give us what we want and stop thinking Hasbro. So I cant understand why Hasbro would need to grow anytbing. All they had to do was just pick the fruit and pass it on the the collectors.
  5. Just to keep things accurate, the Metallo figure is 6 inches tall and does fit in with the DCSH and DCUC figures. The other figures from the line are 5 inches tall. I am not sure about Mongul though, he may be 6 inches tall as well. I know Metallo is 6 inches tall because I have him in my display with the DCSH figures.
  6. Does anyone know how far apart ML Hulk series I & II will be released? I would hate to have series I come out in June and have to wait until Aug or Sept to get series II. It would also be possible for kids to forget about the line if the wait is too long between each series release. I would hope that series II would come out no later than a month from series I, or that they both get released together. With Hasbro's past line releases, it could take 6 months between the release of series I and II.
  7. I dont know if it has been brought up or noticed, but the AR Supergirl and Batgirl seem to be statues. Supergirl has no elbow articulation and Batgirl has no articulation whatsoever. From the pics I can see not hip, elbow, or knee joints. If this is what its going to look like (and from past DCD previews, it usually is) them Im out on this wave. NO ARTICULATION = NO SALE!
  8. Is it possible for Hasbro to do the BAF as a mail order figure using the old proof of purchase concept? If so, would this enable them to offer larger BAF characters? Hasbro would still sell as many figures with the proof of purchase system as they would doing the parts as a pack in. However, it would free collectors from having to buy figures they dont really want in the line. Sometimes I and other collectors buy 2 of a figure, or buy figures from other lines (FF & Spiderman Move, HML, HML FF) and would like to use these purchases to gain BAF parts. If you have say 1 point per purchase with a total of 6 points from any Hasbro Marvel figure purchase towards getting the BAF, it should work. Hasbro already has the mail order system in place to accomodate this method. Would this be something they may consider?
  9. I am a new Transformer collector and only collect Alternators and Takara Masterpiece figures. Is there any news on what we can expect for 2008 in the Alternators or Masterpiece Transformers? Any chance we will ever get the E-Hobby version of Mirage or Binaltech Diecast Dodge Ram Nemeisis prime here in the USA?
  10. The Classic & the variant seems to have switched crotch syndrome like the ML Falcon. Isnt classic Aquaman supposed to have the black shorts and yellow belt and modern Aquaman has green shorts and gold belt to match his gauntlets? I hope someone at Mattel catches this before the line goes into production. Also, can anyone tell me why the line is called DC Universe Classics yet the classics versions of some characters like Firestore will be chase versions? Maybe someone at Mattel should actually think before the make decisions.
  11. I hope that Manbat being delayed is because he's being replaced by Catwoman. That would be the only excuse I could accept as reasonable.
  12. I would say that I am a bit of all 6. Some figues I have up to 6x, all loose. I like doing displays like teams, Marvel vs DC and Famous battles. So I look for some figues to buy at bargin prices, I collect variants and exclusive, I have som MOC, but for the most part I have been a pioneer and have been collecting since day one and have all the figures.
  13. Dont know if you guys know it or not, but you just came up with the same figures Mattel is releaseing in the next batwave. All your custom work has already been done and mass produced. You just saved yourself $10 on each of those figure. Pics are up of the new DCSH batwave at another site.
  14. All I need are Blue Wasp and Black Psylock and I am all caught up on all things Toybiz.
  15. I want to start a market watch price guide for figures like ML and others, using ebay as a source of data. Can anyone offer any ideas on how to start? Has this been done before anywhere else? Can this be hosted on this site once it is up and running?
  16. No - Crown of Lies is the chase and the long horn Loki is the regular. Let us know if you actually do get the unmasked GG from them. I'm very curious. You have to use the correct terminology when refering to these figures. A "CHASE" figure is packed with a limited case ratio. A "VARIANT" figure is packed at the same ration as the initial figure of which it is a variant of. Thus the person at Amazon is correct that Crown of Lies Loki is not a chase, but is a variant of the regular version and is produced in similar if not the same quantities. Example Giant Man was a chase figure. Bullseye had a variant.
  17. I really dont think that this is true. If it were true, then we would have seen evidence of this overseas first, with someone posting figures for sale on ebay. These may be coming out soon, but not before the end of June or early July. It will be around that time we will start seeing pics from overseas. If ebay dose not confirm figure sighting, then there is no reason to believe anyone or anything you hear or read. @grumpy@
  18. As we sit patiently anticipating and speculating about ML and Walmart figures, I would like to know how you feel about this idea: Would anyone be willing to pay, say $100 per year to be part of an exclusive club where you get all the toys before they hit retail? Heres the format. Say toy companies like Hasbro, Mattel and Toybiz, make a limited amount of pre-production sample product available to exclusive collector club members at Toy Fair. Example: Marvel Legends. If ML series 13-15, Wal-Mart Wave, 2 Packs, Icons and other figures were available in limited runs at Toy Fair to collector club members, would you be willing to pay $100-$1000 per year to be a part of that club? The benefits would be; 1. You are guarenteed to get the figures you want. 2. If retailers dont buy a line, you still have your set of figures. 3. You get all the product early and dont have to wait. Down side is: 1. Your adding an additional $100-$1000 per year to your toy budget 2. You have to buy the whole line and not just the figures you like. 3. You may not have the money to buy all the figures you want at one time, so you run the risk of wasting your club membership fee. So, considering these factors, would anyone be willing to join an exclusive club like this?
