  1. Nicely done! Thanks for sharing these!
  2. These 6" figures aren't really doing it for me, but I am looking forward to seeing how the final the Hiya 3.75" Trek figures turn out. It's tough being a Star Trek collector these days, there's not much out there for us!
  3. I wonder if those April O'Neil Sorceress wings can be used with the Origins Sorceress without modding them.
  4. I'm actually excited for these, and I have a pretty vast collection of the 90's playmates figures. The proportions and articulation look improved, even if these aren't Black Series quality.
  5. Here's a few pics with what few other DST Next Gen Trek figures I have. The Data is custom using a Geordi (I think) body with the Art Asylum Nemesis head and hands.
  6. Ha! I've dipped my toes in that water! I have the figuarts Civil War Cap and Iron Man, Iron Man mark III and Justice League Wonder Woman and Batman. They are really awesome, even if they're a little pricey.
  7. Too busy spending my money on muted colored, face printed, actor specific Marvel Legends! (For real! I have a serious lack of focus when it's comes to collecting, and it's getting worse as I get older.)
  8. I'd be okay if these were $20 or under. I understand they are a specialty line and not a mass retail line, but it's not like DC Collectibles has to pay a licensing fee. If they're like the Batman Animated figures, most sculpts are unique and there's seems to be little re-use.
  9. I finally had a chance to open my McFarlane Picard this morning. I have to say, I'm pleasantly surprised by the articulation. To me it seems on par with the DST (non-rubber shirt) Next Gen figures, maybe even a little better since the new Picard can spread his legs for an 'action stance'. I only wish the red of his shirt was a little brighter. I think the likeness is pretty good too. Can't wait for Kirk now!
  10. The hard part to swallow is buying the sub and then the figures are about $28 each. The only way they're $25 is if you buy all eight at once. Seems like you should get a discount if you buy the sub, sort of a reward/incentive for signing up. Seems silly not to makes these a mass market release.
  11. For sure. I've only been watching his review for a little while, but he seems like a real down-to-earth guy. The photo galleries on this site are usually the deal breaker for me when it comes to on-the-fence buying decisions. Very few sites do galleries like this anymore. Thanks Jay C!
  12. Yeah, it's actually kinda confusing. McFarlane's making the 7" Kirk and Picard, but DST has shown a 7" Borg figure they plan on releasing. I say give the figures to McFarlane and let DST focus on the ships.
  13. I do feel that they nailed Kirk's body structure and posture down, which is something most toy companies outside of McFarlane and NECA aren't able to do.
