  1. Technically we need two super articulated Kirks so he can fight himself (or more precisely, his evil doppelganger)!
  2. Here's a few pics with what few other DST Next Gen Trek figures I have. The Data is custom using a Geordi (I think) body with the Art Asylum Nemesis head and hands.
  3. Ha! I've dipped my toes in that water! I have the figuarts Civil War Cap and Iron Man, Iron Man mark III and Justice League Wonder Woman and Batman. They are really awesome, even if they're a little pricey.
  4. Too busy spending my money on muted colored, face printed, actor specific Marvel Legends! (For real! I have a serious lack of focus when it's comes to collecting, and it's getting worse as I get older.)
  5. I'd be okay if these were $20 or under. I understand they are a specialty line and not a mass retail line, but it's not like DC Collectibles has to pay a licensing fee. If they're like the Batman Animated figures, most sculpts are unique and there's seems to be little re-use.
  6. I finally had a chance to open my McFarlane Picard this morning. I have to say, I'm pleasantly surprised by the articulation. To me it seems on par with the DST (non-rubber shirt) Next Gen figures, maybe even a little better since the new Picard can spread his legs for an 'action stance'. I only wish the red of his shirt was a little brighter. I think the likeness is pretty good too. Can't wait for Kirk now!
  7. The hard part to swallow is buying the sub and then the figures are about $28 each. The only way they're $25 is if you buy all eight at once. Seems like you should get a discount if you buy the sub, sort of a reward/incentive for signing up. Seems silly not to makes these a mass market release.
  8. For sure. I've only been watching his review for a little while, but he seems like a real down-to-earth guy. The photo galleries on this site are usually the deal breaker for me when it comes to on-the-fence buying decisions. Very few sites do galleries like this anymore. Thanks Jay C!
  9. Yeah, it's actually kinda confusing. McFarlane's making the 7" Kirk and Picard, but DST has shown a 7" Borg figure they plan on releasing. I say give the figures to McFarlane and let DST focus on the ships.
  10. I do feel that they nailed Kirk's body structure and posture down, which is something most toy companies outside of McFarlane and NECA aren't able to do.
  11. I told myself I wasn't getting into this line too, but I just ordered Flash last night. I'm weak.
  12. Glad to see more animated stuff coming. Any idea when the Essentials Green Lantern figure is due?
  13. Heck, I'd settle for just a Tygra and Cheetara two pack just to finish the main team at this point.
  14. I really want these but the price is killing me. And with them being a subscription exclusive, the chance of getting a few at a lower price (ala Amazon) seems zero.
  15. I really like these and hope the line continues. I ordered Picard online and have had a chance to see the Kirk figure. I think the likenesses are way better the the DST versions, and I think I can live with the limited articulation based on what I saw in the review. They really need to get prototype pics of Spock out there to keep interest alive.
