Hello I was wondering if anyone has any advice to give me on painting capes. For example I have a Hush Batman which I have repainted to black and gray from the normal blue and gray but his cape will not fully dry. Can anyone help, paint suggestions or technique?

First off let me thank everyone for your assistance with answering my questions so far. And now I'm sorry but I have another question. Probably about a year or so ago I saw a picture of a future version of Angel in I think it was a Wizard magazine. The image is black and white (pencil I think) and very simple. He is dressed in a full length hooded cloak and I believe all you can see is the lower half of his face and his left wing which is out of the cloak. Does anyone know what I'm talking about and where I can find it?

Good evening, Let me start by saying that I have seen your work and you do excellent work. And that being said since I'm fairly new to customizing I have a few questions. First is a painting issue. I have a Hush Batman that I've started repainting black where he is currently blue. Everything is done but when I paint the cape it does not dry fully. I'm using Model Master flat black #FS37038 and it seems to work on everything else but the cape material. What should I do to paint it? Next I've been to your site and read about your preference on sculpting compounds but if I remember correctly that compound needs to be prepared and left overnight before you use it. I work two jobs so I never really know when I will have the time to work on my figures. What compound would you suggest to use that can be worked with immediately or at least fairly quickly.
