  1. Wouldn't work because one was by Eastman the other Laird so you'd want them to all look uniformed. But without the belts, it no longer matters and they no longer resemble the infamous FA TMNT artwork
  2. They look great but I don't really understand it. Does this mean Hasbro is out of the 3" game but would potentially still make the vehicles?
  3. You almost kind of need to buy 4 sets to complete the brothers. But I'm not going to do that. NECA messed up by not including the different belts. If those came as accessories then I would most certainly buy 4.
  4. That and her yellow skin tone which doesn't match Filmation. It feels like they are going to rerelease her with a cape as some exclusive along with fixing her skin tone. Mattel doing Mattel things.
  5. Loving what I am seeing so far. Jakks did a great job with the Nintendo and Sonic stuff and this is right up my ally in terms of scale, price point and design. Super7 thought long term and forgot about the short term. Reason I didn't bother picking up any of their stuff. Give me access to the family, couch, and then let me decide how easy/hard it is to collect the other characters and variations.
  6. Like everyone who's seen it, it's much better than the original and I was also surprised by how much I liked it. Who knew, character and world building mattered to a story! I gave the original a 5/10, the Synder cut is at least a 7/10. The 4 hour runtime went by fast and I was fully engaged throughout. If that isn't the mark of a good movie then I don't know what is.
  7. Pretty brilliant idea
  8. I think they look great. They probably should have added some leg variations for better accuracy. I'm not a huge fan of modern fighters but if they start making legends I'd be all over them. I really would just want a Gracie, Shamrock or Tito Ortiz
  9. That's a lot of figures and a lot of money. Still having trouble finding any TMNT stuff at Target though. Distribution is awful.
  10. NECA has been doing this for years, although with no real success in terms of getting a functional ab crunch. McF also did this with their new Batman Who Laughs and the Reeves video game figure which ended up with decent ab crunch.
  11. That was my interpretation since he said he wanted to introduce different weapons for the other versions. So the machine gun will remain the unique weapon for Classic. It's also my understanding that Modern and AP won't get the original machine gun anymore and they will instead be replaced with their unique weapons. I think this because he never said we were getting unique weapons on top of existing one and it made sense to me given that he didn't announce a new or unique weapon Classic.
  12. My understanding is that the machine gun is meant as the unique for Classic. But the confusing part is, will the 3-pack get all 3 basic machine guns AND the rocket launcher AND sword AND three clubs? Or is it just the machine gun, rocket launcher, sword and three clubs.
  13. This is just uncalled for. He's talking about his experience on his site. What were you expecting? With how personal your attacks are it almost seems as if you've got personal beef with him. I for one appreciate the work that goes into maintaining this site, TNI is a source where I go to get my SDCC and other toy updates. It has served me well for well over 15+ years since Toybiz ML days.
