OUCH, that sucks. Mine WAS supposed to get here yesterday, but according to the tracking info, it was delayed a day, and should arrive sometime today. I'll keep you updated if anything is broken. Keeping my fingers crossed. Anyone else run into problems?

You can't be serious. I hate Rex, but he's much better than Orton. If they wanted a chance to win, their best shot was to input Greise earlier in the year. Well, now that they know Grossman is a flop, they can go out and get a real QB and not another project or stopgap. Face it Bears fans, if you had a real QB, you would have waltzed away with a title....easily.

I guess it really depends on if you want that Amazon look or not. My favorite WW figure is the AR Kingdom Come version. She's already in a nice sexy pose, lasso in hand, and coincidently the one I have is standing right next to my HUSH Batman. She's slightly shorter, but just barely. I like the look of her more than any of the other figures.

@loll@ Too funny. I wonder just what the fine is for "aggressive begging?" I've never heard of such a thing. I love stupid people... @pow@

I don't think it sucks. It sounds like he really just couldn't put it all together. At least now they can move on and get something better put together. I'd rather see them start over than rush to put some crap out there.

Smallville Season 6 Discussion Thread
Last Son of Krypton replied to Bespin refugee's topic in DC Comics
I'm pretty sure it was a screwdriver, it just split and bent when it struck Clark. Well, I think we all knew Lana was gonna have to find out about Clark sometime, but I'm sure they'll drag it on for awhile anyways. Oh, and what the heck is up with the baby? Is it not really Lex's demon seed, rather just an experiment of some sorts? This is gonna get very interesting. -

Well, chalk up another solid episode. "Crimson" was really good. It definately got the wheels spinning on some major sub-plots. And of course, Lois was looking extremely hot once again..... @notworthy@ -
Hmmm, Cinci area eh? Good. They should start popping up around here any day now.
-
Well, I'll continue to get all of these, being a huge Alex Ross fan, but yeah, we could have done with some different figures as opposed to variations of Batman and GL. Lets hope that this will be a long lasting series and they'll continue to crank these out and hopefully with more characters as opposed to the variations. I'm sure I'll buy every one of them. I know some people have scale issues with this series but it really doesn't bother me. This is by far my favorite line of figures other than the 13".

Yeah, from eBay. Its where I got my Batman too, for like $49 shipped. Other than that, I can't divulge any more secrets... @firedevil@
-
Yup, just ordered mine too. $50 shipped. Should be here by Monday!
-
I really like the fact that for once they're actually producing a great line at a great rate. We don't have to wait 3-6 months between each new addition. But yeah, 3 figs in about a month, thats really fast.
-
One does. Buy it now for $154 + around $11 shipping. Eventually they all catch on and increase their prices to where the product is topping out at.
-
Well, I went hunting today, but no luck so far. That Steel and the new Supergirl are must haves though. And I like the chrome S better myself.
-
Hope you've been able to find these cheaper than that. You can grab any of 'em (minus GL) for around $50 or less, shipped, from some very reputable comic shop stores on ebay.
-
Sorry, no pics, but he's too cool to pass on.
-
Well, at least they're being spotted now. Now I'll have something to actually look for when I'm out. Funny that he spotted them in the Chi-town area because when I'm working and happen to be in Chicago, I seem to find things that aren't around home just yet, although they do show up soon after. Its led me to believe that area tends to get things more quickly than around home.

LOL...didn't even notice that. I'm sure he meant the regular JLU figures. Although a 6" line of JLU figures...hmmmm, now thats a good idea! -
I'm pretty sure its something on Canadian television. He's referenced it in the past, but yeah, it would be cool to catch some random show that was showing peoples action figure collection. G4 usually has some good random stuff from time to time.
-
Didn't see it posted, but sorry if its old news. Anyways, just came across these and thought they were AWESOME!!! The HULK stands over 20 inches tall and weighs 50 FREAKING POUNDS!!! Captain America looks great too! If they start cranking these out, it could be a pretty sought after line, even though they come with a hefty price tag...over $200.

Well, Indy's D has gotten much better since the start of the playoffs, and I'm not sure Chicago's run threat is as potent as it would have been a month and a half ago. It should be a great game. Its strength vs strength, Indy's O vs Bears' D. It probably all depends on which Rex Grossman shows up to play also. Should be a good game, and I'll pick the Colts, simply because I'm a Lions fan and I HATE the Bears.

"SUPERMAN: The Man of Steel" Should Be an "Interquel"
Last Son of Krypton replied to I AM SCI-FI's topic in DC Comics
Well, I read the script from the Alex Ford link, and I'll say this, while it might make a very good ANIMATED movie, by no means should it be a live action film. There is just way too much of a comic book influence in it, and most of the general public wouldn't have a clue as to the reference of certain characters, which plays a big role in understanding certain aspects as to the depth of these characters. Again, its not bad, but it would certainly be more viable in the animated arena. -
I love synch's random posts.... @loll@ As cool as it sounds, we don't have a clue what your talking about... @smilepunch@

It might interest a completist, but probably not much value to it. These things happen from time to time. I saw Supes in the new packaging and 2 of them said "Dr. Light" on the front of them. While its its kinda neat to see an error, I passed on picking them up. -
##1# I'll second that. Connery...best Bond. Moore and Brosnan, both great, but both also a distant 2nd to Connery. And Craig, much better than expected.
