Well, I'll say it again, until Toy Fair officially starts (TOMORROW) and ends (Feb 14th), I'll reserve judgement as far as bashing them for only showing us one new figure. We've already seen pics of Two-face, yet no pics here. We know there is a Batman wave coming soon, yet no pics here. I'm pretty sure we haven't seen all we're going to see over the next few days, however, if it is, it can't be a good sign. But again, I'll say it...Toy Fair doesn't start until TOMORROW...until then, prepare the crow, and I'll eat it if necessary.

That would simply be idiotic. Knowing Mattel though, its entirely possible. Lets remember though that Toy Fair doesn't officially start until tomorrow, so maybe we'll be seeing more in the next few days.

Well, depends on what your willing to do I suppose. Since I moved recently, space is at a premium, and I used to have all my dvd's on dvd racks and bookcases. The new place however, has a shelf system set in the wall, so they now take up virtually no space whatsoever. So, I guess if you wanted to do a little re-decorating, this could be the best way to actually save space, although its gonna take a little Bob Villa action to pull off. Hope this helps.

Thats a nice amount of figures, but I wonder just how many are going to be repaints? 10? Sounds about right I'd say. Man-Bat does look sweet though. My only hope for that figure is that you can extend his full wingspan. I really like the Rogues Gallery Man-Bat, but you can't extend his wingspan and I was kinda pissed about that, so lets hope this one has that problem fixed.

SWEEEET! A new Bizarro! I'm looking forward to that one for sure since I've never even seen the first one... @loll@

Can't say we shouldn't have seen this coming. They did have 2 Supes in the line, so a classic Batman we should have known to be close behind. But yeah, they could be pumping out a better variety of characters first. They need to add some female characters to the line quickly. Supergirl, Batgirl, Wonder Woman, and more I'm sure will be on the way eventually, at least they better be.

Sad, but true. Either way, I'm just glad they keep putting out more stuff. A good idea is still a good idea. One of these days they'll have an original idea for mass retail...ok maybe not... @loll@

@loll@ Thats show's too funny!!!
-
Exactly. GH was one of the strong PS titles, but now if Wii gets it, I really don't see the need for a PS3. Leaning towards getting a Wii eventually, this just might cement that idea.

Maybe, but the figures would be great!
-
They look kinda cool. Have to see 'em in person I guess, but they look good so far.
-
Sweet! Batman looks great, and it looks like many got their wish with the Nightwing headsculpt change. Both look great IMO!

It was by far one the funniest commercials during the Super Bowl. Why people were offended by it is beyond me... Like biglebowski said, these days everyone just looks for something to @%*#& about. They may as well go after Disney too, with the whole Lady & the Tramp thing. They must have promoting beastiality of some sort... -
Well, no one ever said Spidey was your average "garden" variety superhero... @loll@ Thank you, I'll be here all week......

In the last week or 2, I've been to (all local stores) 5 Wal-Marts, 3 TRU's, 4 Targets, 4 KMarts, and 4 Meijer's. And what have I got to show for my time and gas spent....absolutely nothing. These things gotta start showing up soon, but its been rather frustrating so far. I've heard reports of findings all near this part of the country, and even in state, but of course nothing has hit here yet.
-
Well, its not the first pic I've seen with that Goblin like that. Suffice it to say, thats exactly what we're going to be seeing in theaters. Most aren't too happy about, but of course we don't have any say in the matter. Oh, and why is this in the Borat thread anyways?
-
Definitely good news then. That first photo we saw with that stupid grin was horrible. Still probably would have bought it anyways, but this more serious head sculpt I love! Now we just need more news from ToyFare to start popping up about later releases!!!
-
Wow, he does look sweet! Too bad I haven't even come across anything other than Bizarro and Superman lately. No new Supergirl, Doomsday, Parasite, Steel, and now Mongrul. Ugh... @grumpy@
-
Batman and Joker look GREAT! Definately two of the best of each I've seen thus far. The others look horrible. So, yet another series thats only half decent, or worse. @grumpy@

Does it really matter if we work at one? My money ends up there anyways! @loll@

Excellent... WAH WI WI WAH!!!

Smallville Season 6 Discussion Thread

Well, putting aside the fact they had to get in their "Lana has a stalker" episode...for the millionth time, it was still a good episode. The dynamics between the characters keeps getting better and better and better and better and, well you get the point. IMO, the only downside to this episode...no Lois... -
Ok, we all hate you for getting GL for $50. @smilepunch@ Aside from that, where is everyone purchasing theirs from. My two LCS's have only ordered 1 of each figure. When its gone, its gone. At one LCS the owner said he might order 2 of Catwoman since she might be in higher demand (being first female??) but with everything else its simply one and done. So far I've had to go this route: Superman - Local toy show...$100 Batman - Ebay...$49 shipped Lex Luthor - LCS #1 $55 (had it behind counter saving for someone else, but let me purchase it anyways since I had money in hand) Aquaman - LCS #2 $50 Flash - Ebay $50 shipped I think I'll stick with Ebay, at least for now. $50 total is tough to beat, and I've even seen some sneak under that mark. The 2 LCS purchases were both flukes. They normally sell 'em for $59.99 or $69.99, depending on the character, I just happened to go during a sale. Ugh...$50 for GL... #Granade#

Its official...we have our first suspect... @hmmm@

Agreed, since comics are the true origins of most characters to begin with. Hollywood though has the ability to reach a much wider audience. So, technically, shouldn't we be angry with the comic artists for adapting there styles to what Hollywood has produced?
