  1. Excuse me......... @loll@ @loll@ @loll@ @loll@ Ok........I'm done............ @loll@ @loll@ @loll@ @loll@ Oh, and never did care for Mego's either, not with the better quality stuff thats made today anyways.
  2. More excited about the game than the figures. Just don't collect 'em any more. Says the game is planned for PS3 and 360, but surprisingly not the Wii, at least not yet. There was some video footage of the actual game leaked from E3 '06 onto YouTube, but everything was pulled due to copyright violations.
  3. Yeah, not really a shocker. They just didn't put out enough characters IMO and they were so very slow in releasing the ones they did. I think almost every retail store around has about 30 just sitting around.
  4. Same here. Best pose I've seen yet. I think I'll be stealing that idea...
  5. So will you be buying one version or the other...or both? I like them both, and if one is a "chase" you can be sure she's going to be hard to come by fairly soon. I think I'd like one of each simply to go with each Batman version.
  6. Cool, an all new DVD release, plus figures. A little odd, but cool I suppose. Looks kind of like the LoSH animation style. And they're rereleasing the Supes and Doomday from DC Direct that I missed out on so long ago. I like that Doomsday much much better than the one in the DCSH line. Looks like its a Death of Superman box set.
  7. Good eyes Doom. I'm not huge on articulation, besides, how much does Clayface need, but its nice that he has some. After looking at him again, I think our biggest concern might be keeping him from falling over. He looks VERY top heavy and has only those two little nubs to stand on. That could be an issue. Hopefully, it won't be, as I really like the sculpt. Never was a big fan of Clayface, but the more characters (villains) the better.
  8. Norbit is #1??? Geez, and I wonder why I haven't been to the theater in a while??? Looks like a bunch of blockbuster hits out there... @loll@
  9. NICE! Looks good to me. Thats always been my favorite Rogue costume. Keep it up!
  10. Yet another good figure...and you guys were worried we wouldn't see any more. We know they've got more figures to show, from the side panel views in the other thread. Clayface looks really good, better than I would have thought. Again, could be a great line if they fix the case ratios.
  11. I thought I had heard earlier this year that they were planning on doing these. Maybe it was just wishful thinking.
  12. Have them...yes...opened...no...but I plan to when I get my setup ready. I've got some good poses in mind, even the classic poses on the boxes are good for ideas though. Oh, yes...and I finally got me a GREEN LANTERN!!!!! @jump#
  13. @hmmm@ Ummmm, I think you might be flying solo with the whole Darkseid not being a heavy hitter argument. I like the Parasite figure, and think he's a cool character, but he's not even in the same league as Darkseid. I'm not even sure what this means. If thats the case, we could never have a logical argument about ANY character's powers, ever. You may have your own views on certain characters and their abilities when your having a battle royal in your bathtub I suppose, but using that same argument in a comic based reality, your take loses all merit. It would be like saying, I like Vigilante more than, lets just say, Superman, and when they fight in the tub, Vigilante is always the winner. Therefore, I don't consider Superman to be a "heavy hitter" because in my world he isn't.
  14. NFL: Detroit Lions @bomb@ NCAA: Michigan Wolverines...GO BLUE!!!!
  15. As a Lions fan, I'm just looking forward to free agency and the draft. For us, that IS our Super Bowl. Of course, until they all turn out to be flops...
  16. Wish he didn't have a mullet though... Mattel putting out repaints? Nah, that'll never happen... @hmmm@
  17. Nah, already go the one without the cape from DC Direct, so I'm glad its at least a different take on it. Who knows, it might be a removeable cape, but knowing Mattel probably not. You could always get out the exacto knife and slice it off I suppose if you really wanted too.
  18. NICE!!! Never got that Cyborg Supes from DC Direct, now I can have one. Sweet figure. Also, black suit Supes with Cape is awesome too. I knew there had to be more coming that we hadn't seen yet. Definitely a good sign.
  19. From DCD's site... Not sure if they're really figures or small statues, either way they look really good IMO. I usually don't care for anime style stuff, but these I like. I really like the Supergirl, but the Batgirl is by far the best IMO.
  20. Thats great news. We knew they'd be getting to the female characters soon, it was a matter of who would come after Catwoman. Two costumes though, eh? You know that black one is gonna be pricey...get her while you can. Don't want another GL fiasco on our hands.... @loll@ Might make this line more expensive to collect if they start going the route of adding an alternate costume with each figure, although I rather like the idea.
  21. Ah yes, pet edible paint...priceless... @loll@ @loll@ @loll@ @smilepunch@
  22. Should be getting a camera soon...so I'll post pics when I can.
  23. I don't think people are pissed because of the repaints, as some are actually better, like the Bizarro, its just why wouldn't they filter them in instead of releasing virtually an entire wave of all repaints. What they should do is release Wave #?, all new figures, plus lets say the repainted Darkseid or Bizarro, but only one. And make it a chase figure, make it more collectible. And for heavens sake, fix the case ratio, or else the whole line is doomed. Lack of character variety isn't entirely Mattel's fault (licensing issues and such), but I think we should demand a better effort.
  24. Nope...must have figures too... @smilepunch@ And they're cheaper than the statues, unless you get the mini ones.
