Picked up the hardcover of the first 12 issues to see what all the fuss was about. I hated Kirkmans writing for Marvel Team Up and...to my surprise I thought this was excellent. Its a breath of fresh air to read a comic that doesn't involve superheroes. Great stuff.

Thought it was a great movie up until the ending. The ending was like a comedy. Everybody in the cinema ended up laughing including myself. It certainly didn't fit in well with the seriousness and tense drama of the rest of the film. It was disappointing because the rest of the movie was top notch and Leonardo Di Caprio actually did a superb job.

Are they not going to put the Blue angel variant up for sale on the website?

Its in the Fell format and I have to say I find it very strange and somewhat confusing. Matt is shoving every reference both obscure and otherwise into it and sometimes I don't know what the hell is going on...The parts of it I do are mostly good. So its been a mixed bag for me so far. There are times when I hate his writing and then there are times I like it such as with five fists of science.

Warren Ellis is one of my favourite writers. When i hear about Fell i snapped it up straight away. Great stuff, As has been mentioned very noir. One of my favourite issues so far is the dockside body one and the interrogation issue.That nun is a bit daft.

i find sticking a gun in their face in said back alleys tends to break the ice a bit better @loll@ and they say the art of conversation is dead keeping those female bar staff upright is a tough job but somebodies got to do it.

Born and raised in Northern Ireland on the British/Unionist side of the great divide between the 2 communities that alot of people over here throw up such a fuss about. My surname is Scottish based so i assume my heritage is with the Scottish settlers who came to Ireland and...well...settled there i would imagine. Hence the whole "settlers" thing.

Yeah, I think its the coolest take on Rhino as well. He doesn't look half as silly as he does in issues of spiderman. That should please any Rhino fans. Plus The Punisher is going to blow his head off. Hopefully. That should please anyone who doesn't like Rhino and/or is a Punisher fan. Its win win.

The Descent was out in the UK over a year ago. I am pretty surprised it is only making its way over to the states now. Its a brilliant horror movie, done by the same guy who directed dog soldiers. Your right starscream, that is the real ending. I can't believe they changed it for showing in america. What happened in that ending? You can PM me it so it doesn't spoil it for anyone reading the thread.

I knew Rhino was gonna be one of the bad guys the punisher took down. Matt Fraction kept mentioning him all the time. Its good the punisher is going to be offing, if not top tier baddies, at least known ones.

I'll just watch. I like to watch. I even have a box of kleenex handy for ...um...when it all makes me feel sad. Yes thats it. I cry sometimes.

Exactly. I think the fact that people are raising such a stink over what he said rather than the fact that he was drunk driving says alot more about media and our society than what it does about Mel.

Man Thing The owl wasp Mr. Fantastic Giantman/yellowjacket off the top of my head. There is more though. Of course alot of characters depend on the writer. Good writers can make even the most boring character seem somewhat interesting but those five are what i deem boring characters in general.
