  1. While cleaning out my closet this weekend, I came across my Terror Drome and have decided to sell it. But before I do, I would like to determine if it is complete as I remember it. www.yojoe.com states that many pieces are easily lost, but no comprehensive lost of parts is available. Is a list available someplace? I have the Terror Drome with all doors, caps for the guns, fuel stations with fuel lines and pumps (3 of them to be exact), 2 door struts, all the gun chairs (although I think two are broken) and the other chairs and corresponding computer units. I also have two small black pieces that look like guns, but may be associated with the fuel pumps. I also have AVAC and the Firebat complete with missles. Anything else I may be missing or should be looking out for? One of the posts on the gun has broken off and has been superglued back together. I haven't seen many listed on eBay lately. Any idea what a complete loose one with a few broken parts may go for? Thanks
  2. Thanks to everyone for the responses. I will see if I can get a list out there soon with some pics. I also forgot to mention that I have about 10 EELS, but I may keep one since he is my favorite. Thanks again.
  3. Good morning everyone, There has come a time in which I have decided to sell my GI Joe collection. I actively collected for nearly 10 years and have been recently selling items on eBay. I have probably near 200-250 figures to sell (in addition to vehicles), and needed your advice regarding a selling strategy. In my collection I have about 10 Original Cobra Soldiers, 10 Original Cobra Officers, 10 Tele-Vipers, 10 Vipers, 10 Crimson Guards, 10 BATS, etc. How do you view selling these figues in lots vs. single figures? If lots are good, what is the optimal number? 2, 3, 5? Thanks in advance for your responses.

  5. Kind of disappointed this isn't a poll as this thread may generate a lot of responses. Anyway, as you may have guessed, my answer is biased but I will explain my reasoning. Megatron was much preferred due to: (1) Megatron was much more intelligent and had a rational mind. Although there is a fine line between genius and madness (i.e. Galvatron), Megatron's rationality led to better decisions. (2) Megatron was a much better leader. From the movie onwards, my fellow Decepticons were in complete shambles because Galvatron was too ruthless and/or missing. Then you add Headmasters and all that other crap post movie (Galvatron era) and you can see that pre-movie, Megatron has much better control of the Decepticons. Of course Galvatron was much more powerful. Comparing Galvatron to Megatron is like comparing a 1969 Corvette to a 2006 Corvette ZO6. Sure both have benefits and drawbacks, but the newer model will always have more power and better performance, otherwise there would be no reason to replace the old. In regards to the toys, G1 versions both sucked overall, but Megatron was fantastic in gun mode. I got the Galvatron reissue in the mail today and God...he looks like a sissy in robot and gun mode. Megatron sucked in robot mode, too, but at least his gun mode was awesome. After G1, Galvatron gets the big nod due to the fantastic Energon version. GO DECEPTICONS!!!!! AUTOBOTS SUCK
  6. Anyone obtain a ship date for the Galvatron reissue (non E-hobby version)? I know it is supposed to be next week, but does anyone have any further details? Thanks
  7. Yes, I was watching the Japanese AFA'ed version and it had an interesting bidding history. I believe it got close to $3000 before many bids were either cancelled or retracted. The seller also had a Japanese MISB AFA'ed Scorponok (I believe) and it went for a decent penny as well.
  8. JRS Toys is a great place to preorder him and Blaster. Great prices and $5.99 flat shipping coupled with great service. I was going to go with BBTS, but the prices were higher and shipping is no longer a flat rate. Hope this helps
  9. Oh, got it. Looked at it from the opposite end. Thanks
  10. Hi everyone, I just picked up a three pack G.I. Joe Valor vs. Venom Serpentor, Scrap Iron, and Firefly and had a question on Firefly's bio card. The first sentence reads: "FIREFLY has forgotten more about explosives and detonating devices than most so-called experts have ever known." Am I missing something here? If he has indeed forgotten, then it doesn't reflect greatly on his character. Is this an error on his bio card? Thanks
  11. Yikes $705 for a MIB U.S.S. Flagg - Is this Rational?
  12. I may be a little biased, but I will go with G1 Megatron. He was a true leader that was always feared and mostly respected. Two attributes that are normally mutually exclusive.
  13. Any update on his release? It was supposed to be late May. Thanks
  14. I've come to the conclusion that I would like to sell my original Predaking. I recently took him out of storage and will list him on eBay shortly. However, it has been a while since I've researched him and wanted to ask what information I had to make sure I listed in the auction. From what I gather, I will include the following: 1. It is the metal version (it has the metal waists) 2. Condition of stickers 3. Tightness of joints 4. Completeness (Actually have extra parts) Is there anything else that i should list that is specific to Preadking? Thanks
  15. I ordered 2 sets in March from Amazon.com and the date keeps getting pushed back. First, it was April 1, then April 15, follwed by May 1, and now May 15. Anyone have an update? Thanks
