  1. I might not buy Flint....because he's just a new head on Dukes body. As a SERIOUS collector.....we've got to have principles on this stuff. It's like an expensive art collection we decorate our living spaces with. And harness. And gun. And paint job. Don't gloss over the facts to prove your point better. It doesn't speak well of your arguement.
  2. Is that parody? It's got to be parody, right? Ha! It is! It's a brilliant parody of stupid internet goons! LOL! "Schmuck"! Ha ha! Oh, you're a funny guy.
  3. If you'll excuse me, I'll jump in here. It unrealistic to expect perfection. Holding Hasbro to a high standard is great, but when it ruins your enjoyment of the product aren't you just shortchanging yourself? If you expect perfection, that's a standard that can never be met. If this line didn't say "25th Anniversary" on it, would you like it any better? Let me ask you this, Viper Hunter : would you like anything that didn't have the exact construction of the ARAH figures? If you wouldn't, then what's the point? Accept the line as not for you. You can't argue that there isn't plenty of ARAH product to collect. If you would accept a new construction, what's not to like about these figures? The sculpting's a cut above even the best of the JvC - VvV figures as is the articulation. They've got working holsters and sheaths, great accessories and an iconic look. Everyone (I'm sure including Hasbro's designers) wishes that every one of these figures could have new tooling. It doesn't work out that way, though. What's wrong with a great figure that's 90% accurate to your conception of a character? No matter what they do, they'll never hit the 100% mark for everyone.
  4. Heh - awesome. Now rig up a talking base that spouts the re-purposed Hulk roar from the TV show.
  5. He has the second belt because THAT WAS PART OF THE DESIGN OF THE ORIGINAL 1982 FIGURE. Horrors! How dare they! As for certain folks stating claims about these figures in a fact-like manner : Judging things like missing articulation points from a single photo is stupid. I can guarantee you Cobra Commander has a waist joint. It's just hidden by the belt.
  6. So, the rubber O-ring is what matters, not the range of motion it provides? If another, sturdier joint that doesn't freaking ROT was substituted, you wouldn't be interested?
  7. That's right! Detail and articulation? Who wants that? Man, I'll never understand this line of thinking. Nothing could EVER be better than the originals? Plus, you're making a pretty gross generalization based on your taste.
  8. Okay rdwolf75, I'll bite. Why would Hasbro "destroy" those three specific characters?
  9. I have no idea when they'll hit, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's soon.
  10. I've held them in my hand. There's far fewer issues with them than there have been with the last few Toy Biz waves. And I don't see what you're talking about with Banshee, shlappyguy. Those thighs look correct to me. Edit: Okay, you're talking about the Banshee HERE. Considering that's a pre-production item, I'm not surprised at the screwup. That's pretty common.
  11. Nah, the weapons are far too small for Sigma Six figures. They're a little on the small side for 6" scale guys, but you could use them with your Marvel Legends.
  12. We have. He was shown at the San Diego Comic Con. He's the orange guy
  13. Frankly, I think it's worth nothing. There won't be a hard release date for this product, so that's out. And as far as I know, retail representatives do not get advance sample product such as this. Their job is to straighten the merchandise in the aisles, take some basic accounting of how the product's selling, and put out new product that may be sitting in the storerooms, but hasn't reached the floor on it's own yet. I wouldn't get your hopes up.
  14. Way to go, King Kahn! You *are* a super hero!
  15. Over at Points Of Articulation.com, we've got a spoiler-free review from my good buddy Erik, who got to see a New York screening. Check it out!
  16. Over at Points of Articulation.com, we've got a review of the ML Giant Man Wave Thor. Slightly smaller, but way neater!
  17. Nicely done! Good to know that head will fit on a ML body.
  18. Nicely done, Jin. I guess folks will never get tired of using those Danger Girls figures for customs.
  19. I'm convinced we'll be the last place in the US to get these, if at all. @grumpy@ Naw dude, that'll be us in Massachusetts. At least there's been sightings in your state.
  20. Head on over to our brand new site, Points of Articulation.com, and check out our full-on review of Marvel Legends 13 - The Onslaught wave!
  21. She's sort of blankly happy, and her claws are soft. Make of that what you will.
  22. The categories make no sense, so I'm not surprised. They seem to make categories based on popularity of searches - I mean, they have a 'Hawkgirl' category! Some of them are dated and useless as well, and should probably be retired back into general listings. How much demand is there for Babylon 5 toys nowadays? I think any category that regularly has under a hundred listings is an obvious candidate for retirement. Xena? Where the Wild Things Are?
  23. Just saw a case of Ice Sabres sitting on a pallet at TRU, so those are starting to show up in at least some locations.
  24. The Wolverine/Sabretooth 2pk is in the second assortment, Synch.
