Believe me that this decision was not made hastily. I've been thinking about this ever since ML2 hit town. I've contacted Hasbro about my concern but they won't budge. They've just lost another customer.

Hi Khamla, it's not a cheap excuse, it's my excuse. It's not only the availability of the figs that is the problem but also Toybiz charges NZD $17 per fig whereas Hasbro is $39.00??? Icons for $70??? Well, they suck for all I care.

It's official. I've quit collecting MLs. I blame it on Hasbro. The last wave we got was ML2 at NZD$39.00 each & we won't be getting any other waves released here. We didn't even get ML1. I had to import all of them in. I'll be selling most of my figs on a local auction site but I'll be trading the rest for original comic art only. I'll post up my list for trade soon. The highlights are:- ML1 Iron Man (Gold poster), Dragon Man (MOC), Kang (MOC), Bobby Drake (MOCx2), Extreme Rogue (MOCx2), Extreme Rogue long hair variant (MOC), Dark Phoenix (MOC), ML2 Green Quicksilver, Dark Phoenix & Yellow Jacket. Yeah my Pitt had problems with his torso & his right leg too. I had to really push hard (many many times) for the torso to click in. I modded the peg hole of the leg & pushed it in with force.

Hey Jin, I've just bought a dremel but I don't know which attachments to use for dremelling, trimming plastic etc. Any tips would be most appreciated. I don't want to use the wrong attachment & spoil the plastic/figure. Thanks in advance.

I use Tamiya Acrylic paint. Use acrylics rather than enamel coz they are water soluble. Also, easy to clean & they go on smooth. Just like what Ares says don't use cheapo paints, they flake off easily & some of them become sticky after drying. Yeah I found out the hard way

It may have been discussed in another forum that I have missed but what's the deal with HML2 variants? Are they just running changes or actual chase figs?

They don't even resemble their movie counterparts. Thanks Hasbro for saving me money. I just hope they don't cancel the Marvel Legends line due to dissapointing sales. C'mon Hasbro think with your heads for a change. If the figs suck then don't put them out!!!!

I wish Hasbro would give us an Iron Man armory playset. That would be awesome. Has anyone made one of their own? Show us pics please.

How long do you think ML will go on? I'm sure that there are many characters out there that stiil need to be made or perfected but there will come a time when ideas will run out. Then would Hasbro just start making variations of well known characters & marketing them together with obscure characters that us fanboys want? I'm sure we will never see a series of obscure characters coz that will not make sense for Hasbro financially. What do you think?

Magic seam is easy to use. Just insert a small thin piece in between the seam you want & iron carefully. Make sure there is no excess sticking out or it'll gunk your iron (don't ask me how I know). I got some from the dollar store.

Movie GR figs were 6". Nice job.

This is the ML4 Gambit. I wish I had the before pic then the diff will be obvious. A lot of collectors didn't like the cloth coat & modded their Gambit with the XMC Gambit's plastic coat. I like cloth on my figs hence the mod to make it look better.

I was just experimenting & used Magic Seam (hot iron seam) on the inside seams of Gambit's coat. To my surprise the coat looks great. What do you think?
