I think Silver Surfer was the last figurine I saw in my local WHSmiths shop. Don't you have a Forbidden Planet nearby? I feel crap now as when I get home I don't have net access, so won't be able upload anything until say this time on Monday. I'm sure someone else said they had their Blue variant, hopefully they'll upload them today. [i know how you feel, I detest waiting]

Now I've a standing order with FP and pick them up when I'm in town.

Agreed. Good idea, as they've had quite a few costume changes down the years, esp Hank Pym & Clint Barton. I for one find the magazine provided quite boring. I normally just skip through it, place it in the folder and then stack it on a shelf until the next one comes along. I just don't like the humour approach throughout them.

I'll be heading to my local FP tomorrow to hopefully collect a red and blue Angel. I'd love to see a Galactus figurine...does it really have to be to scale? I thought he shrunk when he starved. ;p

Did anyone see the double episode launch of 'Torchwood' last night on BBC-3? What are your thoughts on this much hyped project. I was personally expecting much more, but the whole time the show just looked like a tourist information advert for Cardiff. Too little action, no suspense... in short a waste of time. Is it me or was Eve Myles' eyes getting bigger in each scene? At one point I thought she was going to do a Tom Baker impression. Of all the references mentioned throughout the 2nd series of Doctor Who, I had big expectations of this show. How wrong was I! Your thoughts?

A special plinth for the specials - good idea. I personally have my figurines arranged randomly. I used to have them in order, but the look became boring.

Variants don't really interest me, I'd rather see more characters released to be honest. Gutted there's no Molocule Man or Klaw, but nevermind.... Man, I'm all for a Doctor Who set of figurines. Those Harlequin minatures were way too small. Torchwood... yuk!
