  1. Holy Crap Devil Bat what a great collection! Really makes me long for all the pieces I haven't repurchased yet!! MUST GET THEM!
  2. Come join The Pit on Discord to talk, and trade with other adult GI Joe collectors. https://discord.gg/tQ7PSz6
  3. That's hilarious. I added a few things Joe in 2019. Pretty much completed my USS Flagg. Using just a couple of repro parts. Got a Cobra Hydrofoil, A Rattler, The Bivouac, RAM Cycle, Zartan's Chameleon, and a R.O.C.C. Also my son gave me back the Hiss IV I gave him from my collection when he was tiny. And I still had all the missiles!!! Not a bad start at rebuilding my Joe Collection. - Phanstar
  4. I should post some new pics soon. See how much I've added to my collection in just about a year.
  5. He is a great figure! I never actually had him as a kid, but he was one that always stood out when I visited friends houses and left me full of envy. Glad you enjoy the pics Devilbat. I try to post one every week or two. I feel like I've gotten a lot better. My later pictures are my faves.
  6. Anybody else like making Dio's? What scale accessories do you find works the best with GI Joes?
  7. I decided to start blogging pictures of my collections on Instagram. Mostly GI Joe. Please follow me if you want to see my stuff! @phanstar330 on instagram!
  8. Thanks man. I am glad to have it. I can't believe how much some of the GI Joe stuff is going for now adays. Sad I sold most of mine. I am glad I kept all my figures!
  9. My parents actually bought me one in the 80s. I really couldn't believe it happened. I remember waking up every night for a week and the first thing I did was rolled over to see if it was still there because I was sure it was a dream. This Flagg is not my original Flagg. I sold all my original GI Joes in the late 80s for a check written exactly to the penny for the amount it would cost to purchase a NES. I put an ad for my Joes in my dad's employee newsletter. Much to his surprise, his boss was an adult collector. An adult GI Joe collector in the 80s was a pretty rare find for sure. I got this Flagg around 2000 when I was working at Funcoland. I aquired a copy of Panzer Dragoon Saga and sold it on Ebay, then used the proceeds to buy a Flagg. I kept it up through several homes but as I continued to have kids my space got less and less. It went into the crawl space almost 11 years ago. I am amazed it still looks as good as it does. The top is a bit yellowed but it doesn't look terrible at all.
  10. Took these the day I finished assembling it. Before the missing pieces started arriving.
  11. Well a few weeks ago I decided to pull out my old U.S.S. Flagg from storage and put it back together. I didn't have very high hopes, as it had been shoved around in a variety of tubs and boxes, some pieces just wrapped in a trash bag, in my crawl space for just over a decade. I blogged the progress of cleaning it and assembling it on Instagram. Well, long story short, what I ended up with was a fairly decent looking U.S.S. Flagg that was about 90% complete. So of course I ventured off to eBay and as of last night I won a working microphone and will have a 100% complete U.S.S. Flagg. I will admit, I have used a few repro pieces: Keel Haul's Pistol, Antennae top Cap, and 5 of the 16 Deck Clips. The rest is all authentic vintage parts. I am rather pleased. Will post pics in a bit.
