Brutal!!! I hope they don't make these before some more original figures.......

  2. I hope you guys are right...this line is making all the right figures thus far....great choices...they totally need bludd and wild bill in there... Torpedo and R & R good choices. Battle armour CC need to be made but this line has only been out for 6 months and already there are like 4 snake eyes, 3 Cobra commanders, 2 destros, 3 storm shadows....I like all the versions sans valour vs venom but why wouldn't they spread out the multiples? now in a couple years when they need to make more of these they will be left with the crappy versions...

  3. On his card back, I only see 4 new figures.

Guess that means no Major Bludd?

Haha looks like Hasbro got rid of the grayed-out previews because we all could guess which one they were going to be. @loll@

That could be true, though they might not want to commit to any figures that far ahead? Too bad, it was cool speculating....

  4. no thats 5 figures:

    Black SE,

    Iron Grenadier Destro'

    Crimson Guard,

    Snow Job,

    Sgt. Flash.

    So that makes another wave.

WAve 6 is the one with Wild Bill and Major Bludd

    em

how is wave 6 the one with bludd and bill when BBTS has torpedo, rock and roll and battle armour CC as wave 6

  5. That's cool, I vaguely remember seeing those at the con? Maybe not though...

Good score, though I too would have opened it. Bronze Bombers are cool...

you got to be "out yo mind". BB's sets are seen so rarely that I would never open them. You're better off buying them loose for that matter! I'm usually an opener and only have a few MOC's, but you better believe a MOC Bronze Bomber set would stay sealed!

Kev, you can totally send the set to me and I'll take the pictures. I might have to have it for a very long time, as I'm sure the perfect shot would take years to get @smilepunch@

Oh, and sorry I didn't get your call last night . . . was at a concert and attempting to steal the woman that my best friend likes @smilepunch@

tsk tsk.... bros before ho's GGPIKE..... shame on you....LOL

  6. Eh, the outdated weapons don`t bother me. Just look at it as a personal preferance the characters have. The Joes always seemed to have weapons of their own choice so maybe R&R just liked that weapon the best. I have my own preferance with handguns so why not them?

That wasn't my point - neither the MG3 or Browning M2 are outdated, because they're still in use!!!

The only weird one is Stalker's MP40...

Yeah, I was wondering about the mp40 as well.....maybe it used to be a good weapon for rangers.....

  7. Not going to buy these.... if they sell some as singles I am down.. I realized that hasbro is going to release multiples of everything to try and get everyone to own 20 snake eyes, storm shadows and cobra commanders... I am not down with that. I think I am going to stick with the single packs from now on....Otherwise its too expensive... i really don't want to spend more than $300 a year on these guys...

  8. this is from the gi joe group on google

    http://groups.google.com/group/alt.toys.gi-joe.1980s

Just happened to check the system before I got off of work this

morning and they have a few new (and as of yet unmentioned)

anniversary figures. I didn't get the numbers for some:

    Torpedo - didn't get the item #

HISS Driver - didn't get the item #

    Viper - WM item # 798520

    Spirit - WM item # 798527

Tiger Force Flint - didn't get the item #

There were a few others that I just can't remember right now. I will

    post more later

Yep I said it in the group so I will just repeat it. These seem to be new...

HISS Driver - didn't get the item #

    Viper - WM item # 798520

    Spirit - WM item # 798527

Tiger Force Flint - didn't get the item #

    Old list(circa June 2007):

    65356928936 Blade Destro

    65356928932 Snow Job

    65356928934 Flash

    65356928935 Snake Eyes Black

    65356928931 Crimson Guard

    65356929251 Armor CC

    65356929253 Torpedo

    65356929254 Major Bludd

    65356929252 Rock N Roll

    65356929255 Wild Bill

As most of us know by now the bold ones are wave 5. The others weren't official yet. I've seen the old list personally. I have to assume the others are wave 6. Since Hasbro did confirm half of them already. I haven't seen the new ones. I guess I have to visit my friend at Wal*Mart to check it out.

couldn't really care about hiss driver or tiger force flint, but am totally happy with all the other selections, and will pick those up anyway. At least the hiss driver is an original character, and maybe they will finally fix his head....
