Hey Guys,
do the 40 figures include the dvd cartoon packs or the TRU 3 packs? I know they don't include the comic packs. Or are they 40 on there own. If there are 40 on there own, do we know who they are. I
We know there are these 21 (below) so whom are the last 19? What do you guys think, don't speculate on whom you would like, but do we have any confirmation on any of the last 19?

Devils due ripped off too many of marvels ideas. Though when they did original stories a lot of them were pretty decent.

I actually like BBTS. They have done a good job for all the 25th stuff for me. I will continue to use them. I would rather pay a little more and actually get product than waste time at a store, especially after hearing some of the horror stories from you guys. Now if only I could trade my comic packs for some 25th stuff i would be quite happy.

I for one would like good stories period! Though, if the movie is going to have a lot of the hasbro themes I doubt that they would get rid of that continuity. To me it wouldn't be good business. I am more interested in who is going to write it. I think Casey ended up killing the franchise. If DD's current team had been writing AE from the beginning they might have been better off. I for one could totally disregard some of DD's worse story lines, like SE dying and being resurrected as bad.

Hama was added as an advisor to the Gi Joe movie. If he was hired for the movie, than he is good enough for the comic. Yes the latest few issues of Devils Due are good, but Casey pretty much killed the franchise with the snake eyes ninja story line, and the fact that Devils due thought it would be cool pretty much tells me that they do not deserve the license anymore.
So again, I am hoping for Hama, that guy is Gi Joe period!

Wow, I really thought hasbro was stepping it up, and then we get this wave. Wheres, BAT, barbecue and the other new figures???? I guess they are fall 08?

after much pondering. You have to admit hasbro has done a pretty good job thus far. I can't see them releasing these as wave 8. I know I have said this before, but each wave has been pretty strong thus far. This would be by far the weakest wave yet. I am going to give hasbro the benefit of the doubt on this one.

great custom! This has to be one of the worst characters ever though. I guess you can have oh so many rangers, infantry, communications guys, medics, marines, seals etc, before you have to come up with guys like this.

These are probably real initial mock ups. Though I don't believe they are wave 8. Cobra commander and baroness is for sure a comic pack. Python officer and roadblock v2 could also be a comic pack. I think its a weak wave if its wave 8 as usually every wave only has one or two repeat characters, whereas this one would have 3, 4 if you include the python officer.

I don't know what you guys are saying, I LOVE Spirit!! I think they nailed him. Wildbill is excellent as well, and so is Snake Eyes Version 4. I actually want that SE. As for duke....yawn, but will take him. They even made a decent figure out of the hiss driver whose head I always hated with the original mold. As for the viper, I think he looks awesome but yeah the head needs some sort of goggles to add interest.
Still great wave. The 2008 line up is very impressive. Now if we can get an airborne and a few of the other early years joes, I will be quite content.

I like them all, but do not want multiple versions of the same figures. I hope they single card copperhead, or he is out for me. I actually like the red star figure as well.
