  1. Galactus: he makes up for his smallness in pure coolness Modok: come on it's Modok did you ever think he would be made let alone look so good (for a hideous giant-sized floating head that is). Annihilus: nice figure of a good under utilized (prior to Annihilation of course) character the only problem is the weight of the wings Giant-man: it sucks that I had to buy AOA figures & Sentry to make him but it's a great figure. Sentinel: decent figure nice sculpt but I'm not much of a X-fan. Mojo: not a character I have interest in but I like the Art Adamsesque facial sculpt & he's strange enough that I use him as a Captain Britain foe. Onslaught: Blah character & a waste of a BAF slot. I can't comment on Blob as the UK is still waiting for wave 2
  2. I suspect that the FF line is the 5 inch Movie Line the BAF line is supposed to be Comic based not movie based & the blackout date would also suggest this. The Spidey line is also likely to be 5 inch as well, you've seen the 5 inch Lizard, Scorpion Doc Ock, Rhino etc this looks just like that line with a couple of additional figures. If you look at Hasbro's Spidey origins line the second waves were just the first waves with a couple of additional figures added.
  3. It's one of the many enemies from the Diablo levels of the video game.
  4. huh? at retail or comic shop? are any FF Wave 5 still available? At retail (UK equivalent of Dollar trees/ Big lots) If you're in the states wave 5 & 6 should be turning up soon (Doombots appear to be sold out in the UK)

    ML Themed Wave

The original creator is trying to get the character rights back. well considering that Hasbro owns the company that projuced I think that might be possible. For the foreseeable future it's not (I want a Rom too) it all depends on the outcome of the legal battle.

  7. The end of February (Just over a month ago) along with FF movie wave 5.

actually he isn't if you were able to get the variant Spider-woman....you'll have he start of Omega Flight @jump# You forgot about Beta Ray Bill he's in Omega Flight too (poor BRB everybody forgets him ) a Marvel Tech wave: Machine Man MACH V (whatever number the most recent MACH was) Death's Head 1 Guardian Forge AIM Soldier (even AIM grunts are genius level intellects) Box BAF Best of British (UK exclusive wave ) FA Captain Britain Meggan Union Jack Lionheart Slaymaster Captain UK BAF the Fury
  9. The Invincible rights are apparently tied up with the Paramount Movie deal (Like Grendel) & I wouldn't hold my breath for Groo (the line will be focussing on more heroic/ action orientated characters according to Jesse on another website beginning with F. TMNT is also a no go).
  10. The GR with the Turbo Scream Cycle (fun toy reminds me of the old Evel Kenivel? toy from yesteryear only sturdier) is smaller than the 6 inch figures so it might actually work scale wise. FYI the Toybiz Hulk movie figures might also work scale wise (come on you know you want to set up an in scale movie Hulk/ Thing battle)
  11. Was he talking about Hasbro Legends or the Marvel toys LCBH stuff because the latter rocks.
  12. Didn't he also save the universe...twice??? Once during the Kree-Skrull war, and once during the "Avengers Forever" series?? Rick Rocks. Give him a Supreme Intelligence as a pack-in, and I'm there! He was also responsible for the formation of the Avengers (Okay I should of mentioned it in my previous post but I forgot) a simple retool of movie Blackheart could give us the greatest supporting character ever, make it so Hasbro.
  13. RICK JONES caused the creation of & sidekick to the Hulk, Caps temporary replacement for Bucky, Joined at the Negabands to Captain Marvel & he regularly hung out with Rom, a legend when it comes to supporting characters. The lack of a figure is an injustice.
  14. 2099 has 8 poa per arm the biggest problem would be the metallic blue paint used but it should be do-able.

    Move over New Avengers

Well they did it with Excalibur (only two Brits on the original & current teams).
  16. I'm pretty sure Wetworks is a Wildstorm comic so that means it's owned by DC. Does anybody know who owns the toy rights for the Thundercats? I know Wildstorm made some comics but does that mean DC owns all the rights or just the comic rights? Warner Bros DC's parent company own the Thundercats rights so if they decide to revive the franchise (rumors suggest they are) they will give it to who they want (hopefully not Mattel, Playmates or Bandai).
  17. No, Judge Dredd is owned by Rebellion a UK based Games Company (they purchased it from another company called Fleetway), In the past however DC was granted a license to produce 2 Judge Dredd comics (Judge Dredd & Judge Dredd: Legends of the Law) as well as some Batman team ups, recently they were allowed to distribute collected 2000ad (the comic in which Dredd appears) trade paperbacks however this fell through for some reason.

    For the English!

I might actually pick up a Juggernaut if I see one in woolies then, repainted it should make a halfway decent shield mandroid.

Mine hasn't got any marvel stuff for sale (pretty much only got a couple of GM wave & Mojo). I'm curious to see whether it goes on clearance when the hasbro stuff turns up as it has in the states though.
  20. No Sue curse them @grumpy@ (They make a wasp & Elektra but no Sue I smell a boxset exclusive) Howcome no one's mentioned Subbie isn't wearing his trademark green speedos yet.
  21. Monsters Unleashed the story you are refering to was a one off joke storyline (3 issues) from the early 90's prior to Heroes Reborn During Walt Simonsons run on FF (Art by Art Adams) it was supposed to be a slightly silly but fun story using marvels most popular characters of the time (Hulk replaced the punisher) which it was. It was collected in X-men Visionaries: Art Adams.
  22. FA Thing is king in UK TRU's, The Apocalypse wave pegwarms ASDA's (Walmart UK) & Home Bargains, Everywhere else it seems that Longshot refuses to be sold followed by Psylocke & Luke Cage
  23. There are actually two characters madjack and jack o lantern, madjack actually wears the old jack o lantern costume and jack o lantern wears the costume released as madjack issues 5 & 6 of the All New Official Handbook to the Marvel Universe clear this up pretty well.
  24. I picked up the set a couple of weeks ago, personally I found the Hulk to be the loser of the bunch being an old sculpt with a new head, but the other three were better figures The It & Iron man are my faves they look great and feel the best value for money and the Inhuman torch looks cool.
  25. That's how it starts, you buy a Master Chief, then you pick up Arbiter then it escalates to buying anything you see just to get your fix.
