    Marvel Comics Toy Sightings/Hauls

It's an exceptional figure. He's going to be high on everyone's top ten of the year, I don't see how he couldn't be.

The vintage wave Wasp is beautiful! Mini Ant Man is also a bonus since I can never have too many of those for my "growing" effect. This one fits perfectly in between my smallest and third smallest Ant Mans.

    DC Hauls

I picked up a Mr. Mxyzptlk from the Super Powers line at Gamestop today. This guy is nothing but an accessory with zero points of articulation and was originally priced by Mattel at an insulting $30. Well, Gamestop had him priced at $14 and he's been there for many months (I first saw him there this past summer). Better, but still not good enough. I was in today for some Marvel Legends and saw him still there. With their current action figure sale, I got this guy for $8. Nice!
  4. Linda Carter Wonder Woman is up on amazon for a mid November release. May or may not include those horrendous thigh breaks. I'm gambling that is not the final product and went ahead and ordered. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0784911VH/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1#

'Wonder Woman 1984' Delayed Until Summer Of 2020

It means nothing. God bless her, she's just trying to put a positive spin on something that completely stinks. No one cares if the release date for the sequel is on the anniversary of the release date for the original. I'm reading some speculation that since Joker is coming out next year that WB doesn't want to compete with itself. Ask Marvel how to "not compete with itself" when they successfully release 3+ movies per year. Add it to the list of things WB could learn from them, including "How to have a plan for your two biggest characters" and "How to get the sequel to your one good movie out on time". I've done a lot of criticizing of the handling of the DC movies in the past but stoped just short of calling for them to pull the plug, now I'll say it: Just give it up WB. Wonder Woman was your best effort by far and even her sequel is falling victim to your mismanagement. Just end it.
  6. Online ordering is going to be my only way to get Zucus so I hope it works out.
  7. Marvel would not have the success it's had without Feige. So much so that every franchise is out to try to duplicate what Marvel has done. From DC to Star Wars to franchise started back in the 80s or earlier. WB may have a couple of movies that work on their own as stand alones but as a universe builder, it's a complete and total misfire.

    Supergirl Drama On The CW!

Bwah ha ha ha! I totally skip this show now. I tried, I really did, but it just wasn't working for me no matter how hot I think Melissa Benoist is. I will continue to watch for your commentary, though. Hilarious! And I know you're not really going to stop watching. You've been threatening that for a while now You have to keep me in the know about the social commentary freight train.
  9. I've said it so many times I feel like a broken record: There is NO PLAN for DC characters at WB. I would say reboot it all, but that doesn't necessarily mean they'll come up with a plan if they do. Just let it rest.
  10. I had absolutely no idea shirt-open Jeff Goldblum was a thing until I saw Jurassic Park re-release in theaters several years ago. All of a sudden this scene comes on and all of the women in the theater are squealing and swooning. I'm sitting there like, "Wait....what? What happened?" Because the last time I had seen the movie I was 10 and all notions of movie star sex symbols were completely over my head. The fact that he was posed draped over the couch and his shirt open for no reason at all never even registered. I guess companies have plants in movie audiences all over the world on the look out for reactions like those described above. You never know when a several hundred dollar statue will be warranted.
  11. I want to see his Justice League cut.
  12. All you have to do is look at this pic to know Zack Snyder is not working on these movies anymore.

Wow, GI Joe product! GI Joe product I may actually be interested in! Three statues? That's a windfall for this brand.
  14. I'm getting Spoiler but Harley is a big time pass. Way too big. Looking forward to Spoiler since I've been a fan of her's since the 90's. I don't have a Tim Drake Robin that will scale well with her though.
  15. These look awesome! I never got into the MOTUC line. Had a lot of 200x figures but I had to sell them due to space. All I have for He-Man are my vintage figures. That said, maybe all the money I've saved on He-Man over the years is my excuse to get these two. JUST these two......we'll see.
