  1. You're the second person I've seen with this reply, and if this set was available now I'd be looking to split the cost with someone. But with these being listed for an October 2022 release, realistically we won't see them until early 2023. That's too far off to plan out exchanging money with strangers. But maybe there will be people looking to unload Flash for cost in 2 years. We'll see.
  2. I've got a live action JL going on right now with my Mezco stuff: Batman and Superman from Dawn of Justice, Wonder Woman from the WW movie, and Aquaman from JL. I like them all and I would love to finish the team with Mezco figures. I want the Flash but would have preferred the option to not have to buy they others. Maybe I'll get the set and sell off Bats and Supes, I could probably make my money back on them, right? They all look good though. If Mattel had stuff on par with Hasbro ML, I never would have needed to go high end with my Justice League.
  3. Not really. There is tons of content involving these characters that ARE tailored toward kids, they aren't missing out. My oldest has a big hardcover book of Batman short stories that she has us read to her on occasion. For bedtime stories I typically tell a story about Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman rescuing kitties from trees and whatnot. If I want to share these characters with my girls, I and any other adult has tons of options in print and on screen.
  4. I think this crap is awesome! Being a father of two little girls, the wife and I are on our third night of watching this extravaganza. Yep, we need to break it up into that many chunks because we don't get 4 hours to ourselves. I like this so much more than the theatrical version which I could tell even at the time was some Frankensteined Snyder/Whedon/WB Think Tank monstrosity. Snyder definitely has a unique take on these heroes that I appreciate even though I do not agree 100% of his creative moves. It's epic, it's self indulgent, it's melodramatic, it's not MCU, and I find myse
  5. I don't have the original and have been looking for him since my Walmarts don't carry NECA.....now I'm torn, don't know which I like better.
  6. I have zero attachment to this franchise and yet I still want these figures. They just look like cool action figures. I find myself rooting for NECA in all that they do, even though I only have a hand full of their offerings. They just seem to knock stuff out of the part right and left.
  7. Good comparison pics. At first glance these guys look just like the CI version.
  8. Hmmmmm....I have no interest in the BAYAB piece (build a yet another Batman), but I like those batarangs more. BUT, I like the rocket blast effects of the regular release. Do you know if the regular release will be $19.99 since there will be no BAF piece?
  9. I really like the casting choice of Kilmer as Batman. I just wish he was in a better Batman movie. The doll Val Kilmer looks as restricted in his movement as the real Val Kilmer was in that suit. Movie accurate! Darned if I don't think these both look pretty cool. I'm looking at these pics and finding myself very tempted. But at the end of the day I can't justify this price tag for these versions of the characters. At best I am luke warm to Batman Forever, and that's only when I'm in the right mood.
  10. What was series 2, Gung Ho, CC and Red Ninja? I'm already loosing track. Gung Ho could easily be redone in the the more classic teal color. For CC and Red Ninja, just give them slightly different shades of blue and red respectively (add hooded head option to CC for guaranteed sales).
  11. If the haters never knew of the existence of the Target exclusive and only ever saw the standard release, they would be shouting from the mountain tops about how excited they are and that they can't wait to order 10 or more. Some people just want to be angry and stay that way.
