  1. I like those muted colors a lot more. Except I'll never find it.
  2. What is this email I got from Mezco claiming an 89 Batman is about to ship? What 89 Batman? Did I preorder this and I just don't remember? It's been so many years.......so many years.........They asked me update my payment info. Yeah right. I bet this is some scam because computer algorithms have told all the data thieves that I like 89 Batman. I don't know if I'm falling for this one.
  3. One nit pick I have is the fist hand on Batman and Joker. That leaves them each one hand for holding things. Scarecrow ate least appears to have alternate hands. But Batman comes with a grapple gun and three batarangs.....THREE, and the max he will be able to hold is one. Weird. It's good to see the Joker come with a money stack. Since he was never going to come with a gun (that's what Todd's gun packs are for, I guess), this is greatly preferable to a crowbar or a sword. I agree with above comments wanting Todd to do Forever and Tim Burton waves. I'd be all over it! Keaton Batman is a lock, not just because he's in the Flash movie, but I'd bet anything an 89 Batman is coming too. I'd love for all of the live action Batman actors to be on display at once. Funny......I never hear calls for a Clooney Batman.
  4. And they'll still be a better value that a Marvel Legend. I ordered this guy from the McFarlane store which I normally would not do because of the high shipping, but I added him to my order when I was buying the Robin store exclusive. Now I just need to get my Gundam pen and meticulously color in the question marks.
  5. There's a good chance I'll be down for all the figures. I don't know about the vehicles just due to their size, but it's good to see that they are being made. And for LESS than $350!
  6. Impulse? Yes, please! I find I'm most excited for figures in this like that come from the 90's: Impulse, Az-Bat, Parallax, Kyle Rayner. Even the Eradicator and Superboy which aren't strictly their 90's versions. Glad this is from Target so I have a chance at it.
  7. Going buy this one image (which admittedly isn't a lot) I'd have to say I'll pass on this Batmaobile. It looks very similar to the old Dark Knight Collection version which I already have and, once again, will only allow one figure in the cockpit. If they'd have made this a two seater It would have had my consideration.
  8. Great photo from a great set of figures. Sad story: When I got mine, the box didn't include Raphael sais. When I contacted NECA about it, I got ghosted
  9. I mean......I think there's always going to be a place for Playmates TMNT, but NECA already has the final word on these iterations of the brand. Why even try. If you have the NECA movie Turtles, you have the supreme offering of that style of figure in this scale. Same with animated Shredder and Triceraton.
  10. Good list. GI Joe is Hasbro's best line by a mile and this was a strong year! You could pick just about any 5 figures from this year for the top 5. The months of November and December alone produced hit after hit! I just got Tiger Force Bazooka today, a worthy last purchase of the year. McFarlane also had a strong year with DC Multiverse and I agree Bane is probably the best of them all. I would have put Azrael Batman in there too. I agree on being "Spider-Maned out". There's a new "best Spider-Man figure yet" every year....2023 will have one too. Each one is just as good as the other.
  11. Forget William Shatner. This may finally be the buck I use when I pop off a Lando Calrissian head, mutilate half of the face, and make my Bille Dee Williams Two-Face custom.
  12. One of the best displays I've ever seen!
  13. Destined to be in the ever growing line of Bat-casting choices where initial fan reaction is, "WHAT?! No way! This is gonna SUUUUUCCCCKKKK so bad!" and then they see the final product, it turns out pretty OK, and they are forced to eat their words. As sure as night follows day, this is what will happen with Lady Gaga. Seriously, how many times have we seen this happen now? It dates back literally to the Michael Keaton casing announcement. Nevertheless, I'm very "meh" about the whole thing. Not about the possibility of Gaga Harley, but just Batman and related characters in general. I'm burned out on Batman. And this may be a hot take, but Joker doesn't do a whole lot for me as a character. The first movie was just OK for me, but nothing I'm eager to watch again.
  14. Yeah, I saw the same thing. They painted the gloves to give them a lower cut. I don't know what happened to that, but this looks really bad.
