  1. Hey! Did you get a cel on your DVD set??? Just curious what it looks like. :)

The cel, or at least the one I got, is of Batman and Robin swinging in mid-air between buildings. Oddly, there isn't a grapple gun in Batman's hands, only Robin.

It's also in a frame made of cardboard, and the back reads:

    "Dynamic Duo"

Batman: The Animated Series Volume Three

    Collectible Litho Cel

The character art for this collectible lithograph cel, featuring DC Super Heroes Batman and Robin, was created by the talented artists from Batman: The Animated Series. The background is a reproduction of an actual hand painted background used in this award winning series.

Hey! Thanks! Got the same one too. Just wondering if others got a different one.

Anyway, just found out that not all Vol. 3 sets comes with a cel. The ones I saw in Suncoast don't come with one, but the ones I got from Amazon has 'em. Same thing with the Super Friends vol. 2! ;)

  2. The Laughing Bat - One of the best episode this series has, and they don't hve a lot of 'em. Direct to the point, has humor and lots of action. The Penguin guest starring has an element of being classic. Remind me of the 60's show. It's well written, great dialoque. The Joker has never been crazier. :D

  3. I saw the animated version on that 10 minute Batman Begins preview they had with Smallville and it looks promising.

About time DC make something different. MARVEL's dominating the movie world with thier cool animated logo. :)

  4. Here's the changes I would make:

Logo bigger, Actor BIGGER, "red undies come higher & belt come higher, colors brightersupermandchangecomp.jpg

Whaoh! They should do it like that more! :)

Brandon Routh is too small to fill up Superman, but then this is just an initial photo released. Maybe he'll get better. ;)

    I hope! :(

  5. I saw a few episodes and I have to admit - for talking animals, this series is well written. :D

I even love that episode with Superman's cameo. Awesome! :D

anyone able to get some pics o this?.. What was he sups doing?:)

I'm never gona watch this series my self but dcdfan makes a good point, its nice to have an " super hero" based show for kids :) Now they bring on a show with the adventures of bruces dog from batman beyond & I'd deffinitly watch it, love that mutt @loll@

The episode is Krypto saved a Tanker from sinking and he news team showed it in the news. That night Superman came by the kids house to see if it was his dog and it is. Krypto even brought with him Supes' old childhood drawings and Superman recognized him and.....

Well, I'm not giving out everything! ;)

  6. True. But it's the thrill of the hunt I guess.

Right now, I still wished Hasbro still has the license for the Batman stuff! :(

Sure they do have a thousand and one different versions of Batman but Mattel's doing the same thing too.

  7. Yup! There powers activates only when they touch or connected to each other, thus the "touching" part. If seperated, they lose thier powers.

ANyway, as mentioned, they're speedsters and they only speak spanish so there's a language barrier right there. And they also both like Starfire, which is cool. They were only seen in the 2-parter episode Teen Titans East. :D
