  1. I purchased the two TRU exclusives, Beachhead, Duke, the new Hiss, and the chopper. Can't wait to find some alley vipers and Firefly. POC is definitely pushing the limits of sculpting and ingenuity over at Hasbro.
  2. Excellent assessment shokker. There were some very over the top scenes (I found myself saying "oh come on" after the monkey one) but it was an entertaining movie nonetheless. Ford still has it, and the dialog throughout was very well done. Characters were developed well too, except I felt it was a little rushed when Mutt was explaining his situation to Indy. I would have rather they drawn it out a bit more, and possibly made Mutt a bit more intelligent (a kind of matter-of-factly type of smart where he holds his own with Indy and even understands some things that Indy didn't). That is nitpicking though and my own personal preference. Labouf was better here than I had seen him before. He makes a much better sidekick than a leading man. The villains in this were also good, the transition to communists fits seamlessly, especially with Indy's feelings towards them (the "I like Ike" comment was Indy to a T. The action scenes were well done, all of the chases were classic Indy, I even liked the one in the jungle save the monkey bit. I'd probably rate this an 8.5 out of 10, and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to see a good action flick.
  3. I don't have the one with the horse yet, but I'm a fan of the KOTCS one. The likeness is done well, and I'm a fan of the removable hat. I just wish they had better hip articulation.
  4. At first I just wanted to get an Indy figure (only found the deluxe one with the spring trap; not a good figure). After that debacle, I decided to do a little research and once I saw the Russian troopers and commander I knew I needed some for my Oktober Guard (G.I. Joe). I got those plus some of the German troopers along with another Indy figure (the crystal skull version). I am happy with the line save some articulation issues, and am probably going to be getting more when I can find the rest. (Especially the cargo truck)
  5. Same here DPrime. I think he just might surprise us all. I think the choice is good because CC was never a bulky guy in any medium (the actor has around the same build as his portrayal) and I think the voice of the commander figured greatly into the decision. Think about it: It would be much more difficult for an older actor to pull off the whiny voice of the commander than it would be for Gordon-Levitt to do. If anyone has seen him act before he had a fairly high pitched voice and I do not perceive him to have to make too much of a stretch to perform the Commander's signature voice.
  6. This would probably not be the most economical idea for Hasbro to come out with (seeing as the movie is sometimes looked down upon), but I for one would love to own a BET. I'm a huge fan of the movie and it would allow me to have another piece of one of my favorite cartoons as a kid. Who knows, maybe we will get a whole pack dedicated to it, with a Big Lob and all the Cobra La gang. Its a stretch, but one can dream
  7. This is a very exciting reveal for me. I'm very glad to have smaller vehicles back on the market, especially one I want like the Trubble Bubble and RAM. The figures they've put out so far are cool, but we have seen many of them posted in other places. I can't wait to get that Black Hiss, definitely want two of those. The entertainment packs are pretty cool, dunno if I want all of them yet. I'm gonna pass on some of them since I really don't want so many repaints, but the items they come with are cool so it might be difficult to do so. Its been a while since we've seen so much product, so we really should appreciate the large quantity of items we have coming to us.
  8. I've been a fan of the ninties vehicles. The Rage works as a cool urban tank (wish I had more of them). I'm also a big fan of the Parasite (I have 3 of them). If you recolor it it works amazingly well as a troop carrier, despite the single stamp and open turret.
  9. Around me, all thats left is the viper pack as any remains of the 3 and 3/4 Joes, besides the Toys R' Us in Times Square, which has a ridiculous number of Viper packs plus an insane number of lady jaye comic packs plus a few single carded figures. I'd really like to get my hands on a plague/ steel set but I'm thinking I'm out of luck now.
  10. Thats correct. I'm one short of the giant size X-Men because Banshee hasn't been made yet. As for the striped Wolverine, I have the box set one but I don't feel he fits in well. He's too big and not proportional to the other X-men.
  11. I didn't want to use the stands, but Storm was refusing to stand up. I figured if I was going to use one stand, I might as well use them all.
  12. Wow that is impressive. The coat is so much cooler than the ones he normally comes with. If I was any good at customs I'd attempt it, but I'd most certainly mess it up. Real novel idea you got there. Just one question: Can he still move around well?
  13. Ok it's four in the morning, and I feel pretty sick. So what do I do to feel better? Take pictures. I got my X-Men legends set from KB the other day, and I reall liked the cardboard back they came with. I took a few photos to showcase it. If anyone doesn't want theirs, I'll gladly take it off their hands. X-Men Photo 1 X-Men photo 2 X-Men photo 3 X-Men Photo 4 Enjoy the pics, and check out the other ones on the page if you want.
  14. I tried fixing my Rogue, but was unable to pop the foot off. I think their is a rod connecting the foot to the ankle, which makes it impossible to pop off. Any other suggestions?
  15. I got an X-Men Legends box set from the Kay Bee I used to work at. I didn't pick it out myself, so I was kind of dissappointed when I finally did open it. My Wolverine was missing a set of claws on one of his hands, plus my Rogue's foot was put on backwards. I still like the set, but these blemishes kind of ruined it a bit. Any suggestions on how to fix the Rogue?
  16. I have one, and I'm getting parts to finish another in a trade. Two is a good enough number for me, I don't feel I need anymore after that number.
  17. Thanks for everyone telling me how to get pictures on. Here they are: The Haul! I found them in New York, at the Douglaston TRU. There is still a Scarlett witch and Ionic wonderman there (I left them so somebody else would get some variants too ), plus the entire rest of series 10 and 11. So if you're close to there, swing by and pick them up.
  18. It appears I need to learn how to post pictures first. Any suggestions?
  19. Ok, so I can't post picture at the moment, so I'll just tell of my big score. I went to the Doctor's office this morning, and then stopped by my local Toys R Us. They usually never have anything, especially concerning Marvel Legends. But to my surprise, I see an entire endcap of ML figures staring right at me. They have it fully stocked with ML 10 and 11 (at least 3 11 cases and one 10), and I began looking through it. I was able to find a Logan variant (probably going to keep this one), 2 Scarlet Witches (up on the trading block), and two Ionic Wonderman (Anyone interested in them?) I'll try and post a picture of them later. This is the first time I've ever found any variants in a store, so I'm pretty stoked. Maybe this streak will continue.
  20. Do you know where it is and what time? I might be interested in going.
  21. They're basically the same figure, except with the aforementioned paint diffrences. I myself like the blue color better, the red isn't as bright as I'd like it to be and comes off more as maroon. The figure is great overall, one of my favorites, and all you really have to do is pick the color you like better.
