  1. Somehow I doubt that guy's gonna pay up. No feedback, and he's paying 600 dollars for his first auction. I think a certain someone created a fake account to jack up the bidding, overshot his target, and is probably gonna email the second runner-up to see if he's interested. What a dick. Guys like that make me want to bid up to 1 million dollars, then walk away. I'd happily take a negative feedback to ruin their auction!
  2. I hate army builders.
  3. I get the feeling that bidder "mackzane" is either a sock, or has no intention of really paying 500 dollars for that. If so, I'm making one tomorrow. Good idea, though. I'd like to have a holographic Vader down on one knee, very awesome.
  4. There are a few guys on Ebay who sell the entire series, as well as the Joe movie and the first two 5-part episodes, for about 60 to 80 dollars. Sure, it's illegal, but it's better than paying 50 dollars for half of one season. These cartoons are ridiculously overpriced, especially He-Man, Thundercats and Transformers.
  5. It's pretty simple, just completely boycott all Sigma 6 toys. Buy up the 3" online figures, en masse, and support the comic 3 packs. Demand quality, don't settle just because it's new and it's on the shelf. You see what happened to Star Wars? People buy ANYTHING Star Wars, and what do fans get in return? Cancellation of the 7" Unleashed in favor of those Cracker Jack prizes, Boba Fett on a motorcycle, "baby" Galactic Heroes crap, ugly Force Battlers which look like Sigma 6 characters (not to mention Obi-Wan with nunchaku!), and, my personal favorite, Star Wars TRANSFORMERS, the ugliest and most ##$%$#ed things ever created. Don't be a slave to these guys, speak with your wallet, because that's the only voice they hear.
  6. The animators did a good job with the Asakusa Kaminarimon shrine, and the bit with the "samurai" Dreadnoks was funny. This was probably the first episode I've really liked, but I guess it was just the Ninja focus I dug. I don't know how they plan on explaining Snake Eyes's lack of talking, they're obviously not following his canon.
  7. Well, the new show had a good run of a few years.
  8. Wait a few weeks and get it on Ebay. You'll have to pay shipping, but you'll save gas, time and the frustration of having to deal with greasy overweight virgins in the toy aisle.
  9. Total ripoff of the Aliens Dropship!
  10. Ninja are the backbone of G.I. Joe. Not in the beginning, but once Snake Eyes was branded a ninja, we got Storm Shadow to counter him. Later, Stalker, Scarlett, Zartan, Firefly, Cobra Commander and Jinx played a part of their storylines, which eventually became the focus of the comic, even if the toy line was headed down the Battle Force 2000 road. Towards the end of the 80's comic, nobody cared about Footloose, Zap, Voltar, Breaker, Downtown, Rock n Roll, Buzzer, Deep Six, the endless line of Fred's, Doctor Mindbender, Duke or Serpentor. Kids who grew up in the 70's associate GI Joe with the big doll with fuzzy hair, kids of the 80's associate GI Joe with Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow. I'd like to see more Ninja, we have more than enough Vipers.

    Comic packs

Please Hasbro, give us a comic 3-pack with a Hard Master, Soft Master and Billy! The comic issue could be the one where Storm Shadow is kicking Snake Eyes on top of the train, what an issue!
  12. I found a Haradrim at a Kaybee near my house, which I just thought was out of the ordinary because I haven't seen one anywhere else in about a year. I hope they keep carrying them for a while longer. Now, if you guys could just get some MOTU other than Orco, I'd like to cash in on those 3.00 figures!
  13. I forgot about Scareglow! He was great. Did they make a new one of that figure? I saw pics of the new Clawful and Stinkor online, they look incredible.
  14. It certainly wouldn't hurt them to pack less motorcycles and Spirits and pack more Bat Ninjas and Kamakuras. I didn't even know there WAS a Kamakura Sigma until I accidentally came across some on Ebay. If they make a Jinx and a Zartan I will officially support the line.
  15. I'm glad they're repacking! I was able to pick up the Toddler Turtles, Hamato, Usagi, and Ultimate Ninja (awesome figure!) today, a few guys that I haven't been able to find until recently.
  16. I picked up the new droid Unleashed 3 pack, the Slave 1/Shuttle Micro 2 pack, some Ninja Turtles, a McFarlane Dragon, the new Saga Mace lightsaber, a Secret Ops Clone, and something Target sells called Dino Warriors (they're kinda like the old Dino Riders, but more fantasy and less sci-fi). The Pit of Carkoon line moved quickly. All I saw was one Bib and one Nikto, but I'm holding out for a Boushh and a Boba. Is the new Hoth line out yet?
  17. They had to be making money off of the comic packs, because they move quickly around here. As for the VvV stuff, I don't know. I always see lots of them, and I only like a few of them. Maybe they'll take a hint and make more ARAH figures. I have a feeling that if the new ones from the website (with card art like the old school) were sold in stores, they would do very well.
  18. Now's a good time to buy them if you're interested. I eyeballed them through all 3 movies because college was killing me, but I'm getting started now (mostly bad guys: haradrim, easterling, shelob, uruks, orc, goblins, but also like treebeard and prologue elf). The small army packs are also cheap now. The scalpers have moved on to ROTS stuff, so you can get lots of them on ebay for cheap, and Kaybee seems to still be replinishing LOTR stuff, if you can wade through all the Frodo's and Gollums!
  19. I don't really bother with collecting during December, everything gets cleaned out. The good news is, a few weeks after Christmas Ebay will explode with stuff that people already have or don't want, so that's a good time to pick up figures for cheap.
  20. I watched that episode, and never got the reference until now. That's pretty cool!
  21. I picked up a Karai at Target today. What an awesome fig!
  22. This is like a dream come true for me. The Arashikage Temple is probably my favorite Joe item ever made, and I don't even like the Valor/Venom stuff that much. As a kid, I wanted an Arashikage dojo where Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow, and Zartan could murderlize each other. I put another Crimson Guard, Scrap Iron, and Red Viper comic 3-pack in my bin, that should cover it. Now, how about a 6 pack with Hard Master, Soft Master, Blind Master, Billy, Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow?
  23. I go to both places for different things. I hit Walmart for titanium ships and 6 inch ships, unleashed, small vehicles, and lightsabers. I hit Target for individual figures, larger vehicles, the drink glasses, exclusives, and the small micro-sets.
  24. Thanks guys! Who can compete with "karate kicks and ninja tricks?!"
