  2. After reading the results for Wrestlemania 23 last night I sat down this morning and typed up a few thoughts on the state of wrestling right now here they are: I’m not entirely sure why I decided to write this; perhaps it is the result of Wrestlemania 23 last night. First let me state that anything written here is my opinion and my opinion alone. If anyone shares in these opinions it is entirely coincidental. With that being said, here is my State of the Wrestling Business Address for 2007. I did not see Wrestlemania 23 last night; I just could not reasonably pay $50 for a PPV that had a lackluster and fairly predictable card (I was 6 for 8, losing the MITB match and the ECW tag match). I did however read the results and checked in towards the end of the night to gage people’s responses to the “Superbowl of wrestling”. It seems as if it came out more as a 9-6 turnover filled October game then the Superbowl. At first glance I am not impressed, however I shall withhold my views on the quality of most of the matches until I have viewed them for myself. There are however some matches that I will take the word of others on. Kane/Khali and Melina/Ashley. Why was valuable time on the top PPV of the year given to these two matches? The women’s title match I can see, but at least do the right thing and place a legit contender in the match like Mickie James (the problem being that they got rid of almost all the real women wrestlers and replaced them with bikini models and strippers). Instead we get Ashley, who has done nothing of merit except for winning the Diva search contest and dropping everything for Playboy. She takes off all of her clothes and gets a title match at Wrestlemania for it. Nice. Can she improve in the ring? Absolutely. In time maybe she can turn into an actual in ring performer, but not now and she should have not been given a spot on the biggest stage of them all merely for taking her clothes off. As for the Kane and Khali match, I enjoy watching Kane perform. I think he is one of the most underrated and underused guys in the WWE. However, I do not know of a single guy who could get a good match out of Khali. He is simply a waste of a roster spot and is boring as hell to watch on TV. When he comes on, I change the channel or go for a bathroom break. That is all Khali’s matches are good for, to serve as an intermission from the rest of the program. As for the rest of the card, some decisions I agree with (Undertaker winning, Kennedy getting the MITB, ECW Originals getting one last spotlight), others I did not (Cena over HBK). I’ll save any critique of the actual matches themselves for after I have seen them. I still however have one major complaint about Wrestlemania 23. There are nine titles in the WWE (WWE, World Heavyweight, ECW, Intercontinental, US, WWE Tag Team, World Tag Team, Cruiserweight, and Women’s), only four of them were defended at was supposed to be professional wrestling’s showcase event. Having less then 50% of the titles defended at Wrestlemania is inexcusable. Three of the titles were wasted on participants of other matches. There is no reason at all they could not have taken the tag belts of Cena and Michaels and put them on Haas and Benjamin, or even Cade and Murdoch. Use those two teams along with Cryme Tyme and have a tag title match. Then you have the Intercontinental belt. This is a belt that has had some legendary Wrestlemania matches attached to it. This is a belt that should be sought after, fought for, not a heading for a guy in a different match. Wasting this title on a guy who then participates in a gimmick match that anybody with a right mind knew how it was going to turn out is appalling to a wrestling fan like myself. It wouldn’t have killed creative to have Lashley interfere in an Umaga title defense against Carlito or Flair and put the belt on one of those two and then let them have a memorable match for IC gold. That would have been a much better solution then to simply have the IC champ in a gimmick match that wasn’t even for the title. The same goes for Lashley’s ECW title. The problem with this title is that it pretty much means nothing right now. The only legit contender is RVD and the do not seem interested in using him in this role at all. All ECW is at this point is a vehicle to get Lashley over. Something I will address later on. Then you have the champions who were not even on the card. The team of London/Kendrick is perhaps the most entertaining team to watch since the days of the Hardys vs. Edge and Christian vs. Dudleys. The WWE makes a big deal over the length of their title reign, and then they do not even place them on the card. Maybe it would have been different if Mercury’s issue did not prompt his release. Somehow I doubt it though. As for the Cruiserweight title, this came as no surprise. Sometimes I think that WWE creative and Vince forget that they even have a cruiserweight division. These performers are some of the most talented and underrated superstars on the roster and they are hardly used at all. Not having five of the nine titles defended at the biggest event of the year is simply ludicrous. Now moving onto WWE creative. Do they even exist? Here is one of, if not the biggest, issues I have with the creative team. The arrogance that they expect us to cheer who they want us to cheer for and boo who they want us to boo against. One of the things that I feel made the attitude era so special was that the WWE listened to the fans. We started to cheer Stone Cold and they listened and turned him into a face. They started to shove the Rock down our throats as a face we responded by booing him. They listened and turned him into a heel. Then when we started to cheer him, they listened and turned him into a face. The same thing happened with DX. They were a heel faction that then became faces after fan response dictated it. We don’t get that now. I don’t know if it is the lack of competition, or the personalities behind the creative team, or what, but it needs to change. They want us to cheer John Cena and Bobby Lashley. They want to ride the two of them into the next era. Two guys that have a lack of in-ring ability, can’t sell very well, and one (Lashley) that has no personality whatsoever. To Cena’s credit, he has improved greatly over the last year, but he is still nowhere near where he needs to be as the champion. Another thing that eats at me is the rush of young guys who are not ready. They rushed Cena, they rushed Orton, and they rushed Lashley. All three were wearing belts long before they had any reason to. What ever happened to the days where guys had to toll and toil for years before they got their shot at the top spot. Triple H played the role of the elite blueblood for years, jobbing to the likes of Marc Mero and Henry Godwin (in the forgettable “pig pen” match) before he got his shot at titles. Edge was a minor player for years, mainly stuck in the tag team ranks (where he repeatedly stole the show along with Christian, the Hardys, and the Dudleys), before he was allowed anywhere near the main event. He has arguably been the WWE’s best performer over the last year and a half and the only thing he has gotten for his troubles are two short title reigns that was simply a way of putting Cena over. Chris Benoit has been one of the most consistently great performers over the last decade and he has had one run with the top title. Meanwhile we have guys who have been on the roster for a year or less and they have a run with the championship belt. I miss the days where guys had to work for it, had to prove that they belonged in the main event, and weren’t simply given the spot because somebody in creative was big on them. I read reports from the wrestling “insiders” and if I am to take them at their word, the creative staff hates certain fans. These fans are referred to as “smart marks”. Apparently the creative team is insulted that these fans think they know more about the wrestling business then they do. Well I wonder if these are the soap opera and sitcom writers that the WWE hired. If that is the case, then guess what boys and girls, these fans that you so hate and loathe probably do know more about the wrestling business then you do. If that is not the case and these are guys that have been in the business for years and have some modicum of success, then deal with it. Fans are here to stay. It’s never good for somebody to hate their fanbase, because they run the risk of alienating it. Right now the wrestling business seems to be down, so maybe this isn’t the time to be pissing fans off. Just a thought. I do not watch TNA consistently. I read the spoilers and then catch the program whenever I can, but I do not make a point of it. I hope, for the good of the wrestling business that TNA can hit it big. I think the WWE has hit a plateau and they are not working hard enough to get off of it. If TNA can hit big and cost the WWE some market share, then maybe that will jump start creative’s collective minds and get them to get off of the plateau. TNA has the assets to be a major player. They have the big names like Sting and Angle and they have some young big time players with big time ability like Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, and Christopher Daniels. They made Christian a main event player, something the WWE failed to do. If TNA can get themselves a two-hour show and get rid of the stupid, wasteful backstage crap (something the WWE can’t seem to get away from) and focus on what brought them to the dance, and that is wrestling. They have a roster of guys who go out and flat-out perform. They need to get rid of distractions and let them do what they do best. Here’s hoping that TNA can find the right mix of performers, storylines, and TV times to make a serious run at the WWE. I never thought I would miss the days of the Monday Night Wars, but I do. In conclusion, I have listed many things that I feel are wrong with the current state of professional wrestling, yet I still watch every damn week. I think I tune in to see what happens next. I try to be optimistic with what is going on and look forward to seeing if the product gets better. I think it has gotten better over the last few months; unfortunately it looks like the biggest event of the year may turn out to be the biggest setback of the year as well. Happy viewing no matter who you pull for, cheer for, boo unmercifully, or couldn’t care less about. Lets see what the rest of 2007 has to offer.
  3. At least we now know when the perfect time for a bathroom break will be. Not even "extreme rules" could save this one. Seriously, what the hell are they thinking?
  4. Flair v. Undertaker To be the man, you have got to beat the man! The Undertaker does this and moves into the final 4. Winner: Undertaker Triple H v. Hulk Hogan Even in his prime Hogan only had six moves, so Triple H sends Hulkamania home with a sledgehammer shot. Winner: Triple H Bret Hart v. Ricky Steamboat In a great match, The Hitman advances into the final 4. Winner: Bret "Hitman" Hart Shawn Michaels v. Chris Benoit In the best match of this round (and quite possibly the tournament), HBK pulls out a win after a marathon with the Crippler. Winner: "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels
  5. As much as I like the Perfect one, he gets beat by the Hitman. I'll take Kane over the Dragon in a close one. Muta is a great wrestler, but he is not the Showstopper, the Icon, the Main Event, etc....... Shawn Michaels wins a hard fought contest. Benoit makes the Rock tap out and wins this one easy.
  6. I'll go with Flair over Bruno, Angle over Taker in a tough one, Andre over Hogan (easy choice), and Triple H over Piper in another tough one.
  7. Just saw this, they must not want my $50. Source: Wrestling Observer After discussions and negotiations throughout the week, the lineup for April's WrestleMania 23 is starting to take shape. The current plan is to go with the following 4 matches at the top of the card: Triple Threat WWE Championship Match John Cena vs. Edge vs. Randy Orton World Heavyweight Title Match The Undertaker vs. Batista Hulk Hogan vs. Shane McMahon (w/Khali) Shawn Michaels (w/Donald Trump) vs. King Booker (w/Vince McMahon) There is also a good possibility we'll see another "Money in the Bank" 6-man ladder match, with the winner getting a WWE title match contract. WWE's attempts to get the Big Show on board for a match with Hulk Hogan proved to be unsuccessful. While WWE was planning to do a "Hogan vs. a gaint" match to commemorate the 20-year anneversary of Hogan vs. Andre, there's no question that Shane McMahon will get a better match out of Hogan than Big Show or Khali could ever get. Also, there are currently no plans for the WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony to be televised on the USA Network as it's been in the past.
  8. Assuming Cena, Batista, and Lashley still hold the belts at WM 23: (note: I'd have Jeff Hardy drop the IC belt and Edge/Orton drop the tag belts prior to WM) (WWE Championship) Cena v. Shawn Michaels v. Edge (World Hvy Chapionship) Batista v. Undertaker (ECW Title) Lashley v. RVD (US Title) Benoit v. Kennedy (IC Title) Carlito v. Masters v. Flair (Cruiser Title) Helms v. Chavo (Tag Team TLC Challenge) Hardys v. MNM v. London/Kendrick v. Duece/Domino v. Cade/Murdoch v. The Highlanders (ECW TV Title (Extreme Rules)) The Alpha Male v. Test v. Striker v. Kevin Thorn v. Sandman v. Sabu (World Tag Team Championship) Cryme Tyme v. The World's Greatest Tag Team (Money in the Bank) Kenny v. Orton v. Holly v. CM Punk v. MVP v. Kane Finley v. King Booker That's about it for now
  9. Is she related to Jim Neidhart of the Hart Foundation? His daughter.
  10. As Downey stands enjoining his newly won title, he does not see nor does he feel the behemoth lurking behind him. His first realization of his challenger is being thrown head first into Annihilation’s hummer. After Downey pulls his bloodied head out of the vehicle’s door, he spins around to see the Gods of War staring him down. Before Downey has time to react, Mars charges full force towards the champ. Downey’s eyes go blank as Mars hits the spear of the Gods on him right into the hummer. Mars then picks up the lifeless body of the soon to be former hardcore champion and hits the warhammer on Downey. Mars places one foot onto Downey’s chest while the ref counts the 1-2-3. While the Gods of War made short work of Max Downey, Annihilation rose back to their feet. Pissed at how quickly they were taken down by Downey, they saw their attacker motionless at the feet of Mars. Ares notices the newly risen trio and speaks. “We have respect for you Eternal, and for your comrades. We have no desire to attack you from behind. I give you this offer; face us in the Pit of Hades, quartet to quartet. The strongest shall survive. What say you Eternal?” The Eternal gives a slight grin to Ares and motions for TDK and Komodo to stay where they are. He then nods his head in acceptance of Ares’ offer of combat. Ares and Mars head back into the arena, followed by Annihilation. Once back in the arena the monster Enak rejoins the rest of Annihilation. They walk out onto the ramp and see it. They now stand before the structure known as the Pit of Hades. The pit is a massive mesh of steel and wood. Surrounding the ring is a solid steel flooring (much like that of the elimination chamber) covered in weapons and tables. Rising up from the edges of that steel flooring is a twenty-five foot high steel cell. In the center of the cell’s ceiling is a small, fifteen-foot high steel cage. Inside this cage is weaponry that can be used for whatever purposes and pain the bearer sees fit to inflict. Metal chairs, sledgehammers, and tables, just to name a few. The flooring of the top cage is not part of the cell; instead it is a hanging platform. A catwalk goes around the top perimeter of the cage’s walls. Hanging from a cable twenty feet above the center of the cage is the TNI hardcore championship belt. In the middle of the ring stand Ares and Mars. Ares motions towards the entrance to the pit. The four members of Annihilation step through the doorway and go to war against the Gods. Eternal heads right for Ares and the two lock up. While the two faction leaders try to one up each other and win the lock-up, Mars stands toe-to-toe with the mammoth Enak. That leaves The Dark Knight and Komodo to face off with the two newest Gods, Teutates (Celtic) and Ictinike (Native American). Eternal gets the upper hand on Ares and whips him into the ropes. As Ares flies back towards Eternal he is met with a crippling clothesline from the leader of Annihilation. Ares springs back to his feet as if the clothesline had no effect at all and delivers one of his own to Eternal, who then springs back to his feet as if to show Ares that whatever he can do, Annihilation can do better. While Ares and Eternal play their game of one-ups man ship, the structure quakes as Enak and Mars trade right hands in the middle of the ring. Neither gives way to the other as the two monsters bludgeon each other with their bare hands. Still feeling the effects of spearing Downey into the hummer, Mars is the first to stagger. Enak is relentless in his attack as he drives Mars to the canvas with a power slam. He goes to drive his fist right into the head of Mars, but misses when Mars rolls out of the way. Mars rises to his feet and charges at Enak and the two fall over the top rope out onto the steel terrace. During the course of the titan’s battle, TDK and Komodo had their hands full with Teutates and Ictinike. Faster and more mobile then their larger comrades, these two Gods took to the skies. Ictinike hit a flying lariat on TDK as Teutates hit a hurricanrada (sp?) on Komodo. Komodo was quick to his feet, now with a baseball bat in hand. He wound up and cracked Teutates across the head with the bat. As blood pours from the back of his teammates head, Ictinike is double teamed by Komodo and TDK. As they gain the upper hand, Komodo goes to set up some tables. The duo places Ictinike on the double stacked tables and then TDK sets up a ladder. TDK rises to the top of the ladder looking to come crashing down upon the Native American God. Just as quickly as TDK climbed the ladder, Teutates gets back into the game and takes out Komodo with a vicious chair shot, bloodying the former hardcore champ. Distracted by Teutates attack on Komodo, TDK did not see Ictinike leap from his prone position on the tables up onto the ladder. A shot to TDK’s gut and then Ictinike sets TDK up for the Godfall piledriver (the Canadian Destroyer). The devastating finishing move is then delivered to The Dark Knight right through the double-stacked tables. Under the wreckage neither TDK nor Ictinike move as they have both been taken out of the battle. On the outside of the ring Enak and Mars continue their battle for dominance. Each of them now has a weapon in hand, a sledgehammer for Mars and a 2x4 covered in barbed wire for Enak. They each take their shots at the other until they have nothing left. Each fighter is now covered in blood, a mix of their own and their opponents. In a last ditch effort Mars goes for the warhammer powerbomb but is caught by Enak. The monster of Annihilation hits a massive chokeslam on Mars, sending him into the steel flooring. As Mars lays motionless, Enak falls to the ground courtesy of a sledgehammer to the back of his head. Teutates stands above the fallen monster holding the sledgehammer. He scans the Pit of Hades and sees the downed Enak and Mars. He sees the wreckage of what is left of The Dark Knight and Ictinike, still buried under the broken tables. He sees Eternal and Ares no battling on the outside of the structure. He turns to look for Komodo, but when he turns to where he left the ex-champion, he is met with a chair shot right to his skull. Komodo delivers a second and then a third chair shot to the skull of Teutates. The Celt falls to the mat and Komodo then places the metal chair on top of the fallen God. Komodo climbs the ladder that was used earlier by TDK and Ictinike, and hits a frog splash right across the chair-covered chest of Teutates. Stunned and bloodied, the God tries to rise to his feet only to fall back down again. For he is now out of the immediate picture. On the outside Eternal and Ares have engaged into a bitter combat. Neither shows the slightest sign of weakness. They trade move after move, blow after blow, neither gaining the upper hand. That is until Komodo exits the structure to enter the fray. He intervenes on the behalf of Eternal and attacks Ares from behind. With his attention now turned to Komodo, Ares does not see Eternal climb the siding of the cell towards the cage above. Komodo is thrown into the side of the steel monolith by Ares, who then turns his attention back to Eternal. Ares scales the side of the pit to catch Eternal. The two each reach the top and enter the weapon filled cage twenty-five feet above the ring. The fight continues as they each grab a weapon and go after the other. The quicker Eternal delivers the first blow to Ares. The stronger Ares follows with a blast of his own. Once again these two warriors stand toe-to-toe and trade fists. As these two men continue their epic battle up top the Pit of Hades, below their feet the monster Enak stirs. As he rises to his feet he looks up at his leader, Eternal, locked in combat with Ares. Enak heads to the exit of the cell so that he can join his master in his war with Ares. Before Enak can reach the exit Mars tackles him from behind. Both men get to their feet quickly, and then Mars is the first to act. He hits Enak with a kick to the groin and follows that with the most vicious, the largest, the most Earth shattering piledriver ever as Mars somehow hits the Godfall on Enak. Mars then leaves the structure to assist Ares. By this time, Komodo has also gotten to the top of the cell and entered the cage above. He goes to attack Ares but the God quickly moves out of the way and Komodo hits Eternal by mistake. Ares uses this to his immediate advantage and delivers fist after fist to the bloodied head of Eternal, leaving Komodo to the newly arrived Mars. As Komodo gets back to his feet he is met with a choke slam from Mars. The God then sets up a table onto the scaffold flooring of the cage. Mars places Komodo onto the table and then delivers a crushing sledgehammer shot to his head. Komodo now lays prone on the table. Meanwhile Ares has climbed up to the catwalk around the top of the cage, and he is quickly joined up there by Eternal. Each of them exhausted and scarred from the battle they locked stares and once again joined in combat. Eternal delivered a kick to the head of Ares, who then fired back with an uppercut of his own. Eternal delivers another kick to the head and then goes for the Trail of Tears, but is caught by Ares. Then, in the most dynamic and disastrous moment so far, Ares hits the Warhammer on Eternal. He sends Eternal downward into the lifeless body of Komodo, through the table, into the scaffolding. The scaffolding shatters at the impact of the men and Eternal and Komodo continue their decent into Hades as they fall the last twenty-five feet into the ring. The members of annihilation are now motionless, covered by what is left of the scaffolding they were plowed through. After the destruction is over Ares leaps to the cable and takes the hardcore championship belt for his own. He is the lone survivor of the Pit of Hades and he knows that there will be more to come.
  11. Well, TNA doesn't tour or really do house shows, so all he has to do is go to Florida once a week. He's been put through the ringer, but I'll bet he can perform on a similar schedule as Sting and be ok for awhile. He knows he needs to heal and be healthy, I think this could work out. I least I hope so, I'm a huge Angle mark. I don't want to see him hurt because he loves wrestling..... I'm sure they won't even use him in the ring weekly. Yeah TNA doesn't tour and do house shows. How much longer will that last though? If they really want to get into it with WWE and show that they are not a 2nd tier promotion (which they are trying to do with the new timeslot), they will have to start going on the road (which they are all ready starting to do) . It will be a few dates a month to start with and then that will increase. Then, when attendence isn't what they hoped it would be, they'll go to Kurt and tell him that they need him to pull in more fans. Of course he'll do it, then all of the sudden he's back to working 12+ dates a month. All in a wrestling capacity. He'll go full out every single time, trying each and every night to outdo his last match. Kurt Angle will work himself to death in a wrestling ring, be it one with six sides or four sides. He obviously does not know what is good for him, so for his sake others need to make that call for him. TNA did him absoulutley no favors by signing him. Sure they'll get a publicity boost and draw some more fans for Impact, but they may have made themselves the second signature on Kurt Angle's death sentence.
  12. As a fan of Kurt Angle's I am very sad at this moment. That man is going to kill himself in the ring one day. He needs to take it easy and get his priorities straight.
  13. If Cena does end up joining DX then I'm done. No big loss really as the only thing I've enjoyed lately was the DX reunion. That and Studio 60 is on Mondays, so I'll watch that instead.
  14. Thanks for the recap Outsiders. Sounds like a pretty blah PPV, glad I didn't buy it.
  15. .... As the limo screeched to a sudden halt, the driver could not believe his eyes. Standing in the street in front of him were two of the most massive beings he had ever seen. Each man had to be at least 7'0'' and 350 of pure muscle. Tattoos covered the arms and chest of the bald one. The other man seemed to be decked out in armor of some sort. They each had evil grins on their face and obvious malice in their minds. The driver was to petrified to answer Deep Throat's calls from the back. All he could think about was the two men walking towards the limo. Each of the men walk to one side of the limo and pull the side doors right off of the hinges. The bald assailant grabbed Deep Throat out of the limo and threw him to the ground. Then as his compatriot pulled Adam Michael from the car, the bald one introduced themselves… “I am Ares, he is Mars. We are The Gods of War! And your world just got bloodier!” With that ominous statement Ares then puts Deep Throat threw the top of the limo with his Warhammer powerbomb. Mars goes to do the same to Adam Michael, but when Mars pulls him up for the move, he nails Mars in the head with a lead pipe he had hiding under his coat. Mars falls to the ground bleeding, but looks right back up with an evil grin on his face. Before Mars has a chance to get to his feet, Adam Michael gives him three more shots to the head with the lead pipe. Then, with no hesitation, he delivers the pedigree to a bloody Mars. Too bad for Adam Michael that Ares was standing right behind him when he rose. Ares grabs the hardcore champion from behind and slings him into the limo, crushing the side of the vehicle. Ares picks up the lead pipe and swings for Adam’s head but misses when Adam ducks at the last second. Adam stagers to the sidewalk looking for anything that he can use as a weapon to take on the behemoth Ares. He sees a metal crutch left behind in a bus stop. Adam staggers towards the bus stop to get the crutch when Ares hits the spear of the Gods on him right through the glass station. Barely conscious, the champ still manages to grab hold of the crutch and swing it full force at Ares, but it is too little too late. The shot from the crutch has no strength behind it. Ares laughs as he picks Adam up and hits the warhammer right on the street. Ares covers and the ref counts the 1…..2…..3! Ares is the new hardcore champion. Mars rises to join his comrade as they survey the devastation that they have caused. With smiles covered in their own blood and the blood of others, they walk towards the arena. For there is war to come.
  16. Saw a link to a video of it. http://video.tinypic.com/player.php?v=2nkrvk3
  17. Why do u not like batista and cena? hmmmm They are 2 of the best in the biz! GAHHHHHH! I don’t have a beef with Batista, I just think that Booker T deserves to hold onto the belt for a longer period of time. IMO, Booker should keep the belt at least until Survivor Series (although we all know that ain’t happening). As for Cena....... with no disrespect to you and the others that like him, I think he is monumentally overrated as a superstar. I could go on to explain why I feel that way, but those are the same reasons many other fans don't like him. So no point in rehashing those. Oh, and can somebody please explain why the hell they would book a crap @$$ ending like that for the Flair/Foley bloodbath?
  18. Thanks for the recap. That was money well saved for me. Seems like yet another lackluster PPV. Oh well, at least Cena and Batista lost.
  19. Yeah, seeing the fake Hogan and the real Hulk in the ring was painful to watch, yet the fake Hogan didn't know how to run the ring-ropes, so you'd think they'd show him how to do that a little better before the segment aired. He isn't a wrestler though, so you can't expect too much. Hogan did look a little lost too though. Still, The whole segment died and the live crowd let them know it, was it me or were they booing Hogan? The whole Carlito and Trish romance angle reminds me of a re-hash of the Rock/Trish relationship tease 5 or so yrs ago. This whole thing is kinda like what would have happened if they kept it going. Don't forget the Jericho/Trish thing they had a couple of years ago.
  20. Here's my list (Shawn is number 1 and Bret is number 2, everybody else is in no particular order). 1. Shawn Michaels 2. Bret Hart Owen Hart Steve Austin Mr. Perfect Triple H Rick Rude Hulk Hogan Chris Benoit Ric Flair Arn Anderson Jimmy Snuka Mick Foley Kurt Angle Chris Jericho The Rock Rowdy Roddy Piper Ted DiBiase Tito Santana Eddie Guerrero
