  1. Simply this. Continue the 3.75 line with new sculpt figures of all the old cast in their traditional looks with of course a few updated modern touches. I also appreciate the new characters. The design would continue with excellent new molds like the Torch, Barrage, Bombstrike, etc. (No JvC or SpyTroop parts!!!!) Valor Venom design and beyond. The DTC single card figures are on the right track. My only wish would be to have all new "quality" molds without "frankensteining". The vehicles: Remake the vintage peices. (yeah right) Distribution: Have all product available at HTS as well as brick and mortar store.
  2. I remember when the Cobra Troopers debuted and there was talk about NOT having removeable helmets. But admit that they're getting the concept mixed up. ( Having the Trooper head mold and helmet as one piece, and Airtight with the removeable). Regardless, I am 110% satisfied with Airtight. The head mold is great except for the holes to insert the silver visor. (I don't use it anyway). Munitia is my updated response to Vypra. Same theme. As for the JvC Scarlett mold, I love the figure. It looks waaaaay better than the Valor Venom crap version (unless your pitching towards the old school Street Fighter ninja version of '93). The only problem with the JvC Scarlett is she's GIGANTIC! @grumpy@ Finally, yes it is a shame that when Hasbro has finally gotten on the right track to make near original character designs but in new sculpt, the line gets put on a long"hiatus" once again. Well maybe. Let's just wait and see.
  3. "Lackluster?" I like them. I have Airtight and Munitia and they both are awesome. (Wait til you get them in hand) Outback is probably my least favorite out of the lot. Falcon's head sculpt isn't the greatest (he looks a bit old) and they definitely could have been more creative with the body, however I can live with it. Waiting for the Officers! I hope to pick up at least 20-30. The pro's and con's are about the same for the other Waves except Wave 1. (Almost perfect) They'd better not cancel this Wave. One last note...I hope the 25th Anny figs are worth the wait!
  4. The recipe sounds like it works. Curious as to why you are using the SB armor? (I'm assuming to resemble the S6 version. I haven't seen it though) Any chance of casting extra custom leafed Roll Bar helmets? @firedevil@ I'd like to see. Hook me up.
  5. This way you don't have to keep adding a new thread. And looks like I'm late again this year. Hope it is was fun! -B
  6. Thanks for sharing these awesome pics. I'm a BBI fan. The Blackhawk is just as detailed. As a JOE collector, I am even more eager for them to release the F-22 Raptor, A-10, and F-14. Especially the Raptor. For you Tomcat fans... http://www.naritafamily.com/Scalemodel/air...oto_gallery.htm I've yet to see GIJOE figures in one of these. If you have the new sculpt (Valor Venom series) Ace and Slipstream figure, I'd love to see pics if you wouldn't mind. Either post them here or PM me. Thanks again for sharing these. Tremendous!!
  7. I'm not familiar with FF or the character but admire your work. Those "Chucks" are pretty cool.
  8. Oh YEAH!!! She is red hot! Awesome job my man. Thanks for sharing.
  9. @loll@ Cool man. I especially like the Baroness one and new scuplt Cover Girl meets LJ and Scarlett. The one about S6/ 12" and 3.75" are right on. Thanks.
  10. I continue to resist Sigma 6 but must admit Zartan is pretty tight. The first day the pics were released, I thought to myself to at least pick him up. As a matter of fact, it's too bad a similar version didn't make it to 3.75.
  11. My thoughts as well. http://www.yojoe.com/action/04/cardedimage...antryback.shtml
  12. YES! I guess this confirms they will be arriving soon. Pre ordered a month ago. After my first order gets in, I'll probably get a few extra sets. Thanks JayC
  13. Steel Brigade?... Wave 4? @hmmm@
  14. V1 is the best for ARAH, but I think 4a is the best new sculpt. Most hate the light tone, but he has mixed Latino features and light complexion in the Sunbow toon series. Being Black myself, I welcome the variety of ethnic appearance in the figs. I dig the camo shirt as well.
  15. I'm one of the biggest hippos on this one. @smilepunch@ Now I'm all over the Trooper.
  16. I enjoyed it. Waiting for Special Missions: Tokyo!
  17. New Sculpt: Barbeque Ripcord Wetsuit Zanya Wraith Shipwreck (Devils Due) Cobra Commander (Robot Rebellion) Firefly (Valor Venom correct gray camo) Python Patrol Trooper 6 pack Agent Chuckles Zartan (Sigma 6 style! in 3.75 Valor Venom detailed greatness) Scarlett (Devils Due) Wishlist: Buzzer (w/ comic pack head) Road Pig Law Sci-Fi Downtown Dialtone MainFrame Flint (w/ JvC head) Blowtorch (similar to BTR version) Doc
  18. You're right on man. I guess it's way complicated and suppose it's safe to say they haven't done to shabby given the circumstances. Ideally we'd like to all get what we want but, that's not realistic. I just get a little heated when I think of resources spent on new projects that could be focused more on 3.75, although I think I understand the business POV.
  19. What seems illogical to me about Joe success is why doesn't Hasbro just come outright and ask what we (the consumer/fans) will take to if they have a new concept for figure design; instead of being "vague", guessing, and then produce stuff hardly anyone has interest in. The roundtable seems to be the best time to mix it up and share ideas. Whatever feedback that doesn't seem possible to the design team and bean counters could maybe prematurely negotiated. I doubt any "top secret" design ideas would leak to another toy competitor, if that's a concern. I know other toy companies and other toy lines don't bother with it but just figured it might be useful with today's JOE. There are so many variations of this line to satisfy the various fan interst. As they say...united we stand, divided we fall. @firedevil@
  20. Yes.. and when will Wave 4 and the Steel Brigade drop? It says June? Where? Will HTS still sell new product? Will Target get back in the game and start selling 3.75 again?
  21. Unless the contrast is messed on my monitor, the Warthog is lookin' awesome. Not feelin the Armadillo (even though its one of my favs). I can't wait to see the Ferrets. Jealous.
  22. I say we start some wagers.. The bets start at 5 Cobra Troopers. @loll@ I say 3.75 lives until Wave 6.
  23. Will Hasbro continue HTS for upcoming product and provide ample stock instead of the nil availability of popular figures like the Cobra Trooper? Somebody please support new sculpt 3.75. There are a great many of us who want them to continue. I would of course love to see updates for some of the previous JvC and SpyTroop foul ups like Flint, Blowtorch and Shipwreck, etc, and finish up the line up to ’89, DD Comic characters, and totally new ones alike. Keep it rollin!
  24. Thanks!! The first mini-series lion episodes are the best IMO. Thry are also found at YouTube... http://youtube.com/results?search=voltron&...e=search_videos or by search. Check "gokulover4ever" for episode 1 and "barone21" for the next 3 episodes. Unfortunately he doesn't host the last episode 5 though. Good times! Brings back memories.
  25. SB, Cool pics. Thanks for sharing. I saw your WIP over at Joecustoms. I have a lot of catching up to do. I haven't seen Zero or the others except DRYL and 2012. The new Yam Zero Valks are due to drop this summer!
