Yes, I know and understand all of these things. Dreamwaves cop out of covering this time frame was a crock of jive. As I said, I thought their re-invention/continuation of the G1 story was pretty lame. Am I alone in thinking it would be really cool to see what happened between the end of season two to the beginning of Transformers the Movie? And I too am sick of Simon Furman. If you are going to do a fresh start, get some new writers.

If you could, post the response if/when you get one. I would be interested to see what they have to say. Thanks.

Haven't you seen that commercial? Some average guy wakes up and rolls over in his bed and there, lying beside him in bed. . . is the Burger King. It is hilarious! That would be awesome to wake up and have the Burger King in bed with you offering you a fresh made breakfast sandwich.

Yeah, this sounds like a bunch of PC bologna to me. What a waste of everyone's time. If you don't want your kid to watch the movie, don't take them. If you don't want to support the promotion, don't go to Burger King. And if they are going to complain about the BK promotion, why aren't they complaining about all the promotions with Kellogs cereals, Keebler Cookies, Pop Tarts, Pepsi cola, etc. I am pretty sure most of those promotions are aimed at children as well. Lightsaber spoon anyone...

I love the Burger King. I wish I would wake up with him in my bed, just like in the commercial!!!

It seems to me there is a huge span of time from the Transformers that is going unused. The time between the end of the season 2 of the cartoon series and the start of Transformers The Movie. 1985-2005, that is a huge span of time to play with, without having to reboot the series yet again...yawn. Doesn't anyone wonder what happened for those TWENTY years. If I remember correctly the original comic series jumped ahead just like the cartoon series did. I hated the DW continuity and I am so glad IDW is not going to continue that dreck.

I just saw it for the third time last night and each time I have seen it have enjoyed it even more than the previous viewing. Everything seems to slow down a bit once you know what it coming...which is a good thing.

Just wondering where you aquired these nifty bits of info.

I have always thought that maybe the Empire had planned on having more than one death star cruising the galaxy at once. It would be difficult for one station to monitor the entire galaxy. After seeing the trailers (The scene with vader and palps looking out into space) I thought we might actually see both death stars being built, with one being further along in construction. Also, after doing something once, isn't it usually easier to do it the second time?

Luke vs. Darth ESB

This was my thinking as well.

If you have not yet seen the Mustafar playset, it includes a portion of "flip over lava" that reveals a charred hand reaching up out of it. The package says something like flip over lava to reveal Anakin's fate. Which leads me to wonder if the ending was changed by Mr. Lucas after the toy designs were finalized. Is anyone in the know about such a change?
