  1. Their night viper was nearly identical. Only the monacle and backpack were orange. Good cheap alternative to the originals. Crimson Guard Immortals were also cool. Small joes had tons of them for years.

  2. I'll be there at Killuminati's table. I'll have loose 25th figs, a nice havoc, and if I have time, duplicate figs from '84+. Should I bring a nice complete rolling thunder for $80? It's too big for the drive if there is no buyer. Terrordrome and '83 HQ (not in the best condition)?

Do you have any Cobra Divers in package? If so how much and can you bring me two. I will be at the firebaseryan Table

    Hi Doug,

I havent found any myself. You have to be an early bird to get that tube worm (from the carton, get it?) Havent found eels or wraith or Zartan with skiier. Ahh the drawbacks of a night shift. Guess I should order online more.

  4. Now is the Hall of Heroes line the ones we voted on last year? I remember taking a poll of your 25 favorites, and I think I remember seeing the results but I forget who made it.

I believe the 25 you are thinking of were the original 25 for the 25th anniversary. Those received the chrome gijoe logo and "25th" labeling. THAT line did so well that they continued it with comic, international, mask, or cartoon labeling. I think there was a vote on 10 only for this line.

I wish cobra trooper won and included the upper arms with flares and garrote like the original! totally menacing!

  5. I wasnt seeing the stock levels here in San Diego that you guys have so I had to pick up the 6 I did see on cleareance for $38. I wasnt even considering it at the original price point before Christmas.

  6. Yeah, I picked up 5 or 6 but I think I only opened 1. Dont get me wrong, I dig PP (heh) vehicles and the red criss-cross patterns of the VvV and TRU exclusive 5 pack, but the original figs were hideous!

...and another thing, how friggin hard would it be to come out with a PP hiss already! I mean come on!

  7. Yeah, I know that Walmart and I can attest that they never have any GIJoe at all!!! I've been checking for 2 years! No VvV and especially no 25th! But for some reason I keep coming back.

And no, we are not scalpers, but we are army builders and we do leave items behind when nobody in the club needs them any more.

  8. I just thought I'd mention Kamakura Kustoms, just in case.

Apparently, I wasn't the only one who lost out on that deal. They closed the thread on Yojoe about it, because they don't condone replacement parts, but a few others had replied about it too. I wish the guy had come clean about it - he told me he had sent them and they were "lost in the mail" but one has to come to the conclusion that he didn't send any of these in the first place...

Who knows, maybe he'll be at the convention. I'm bringing my Paypal receipt just in case.

I think he is splitting a table with Killuminati of UrbanRevCustoms at the con. Good luck and pick up some 3-3/4 gear from URC while you are at it!
