  1. One of the many novelties of the Masterpiece line is the clever and cool accessories that are usually included with the Transformer. We already know that the accessories are in reference to a particular episode of the television series, such as Grimlock's Apron and tray, Starscream's crown and cape, Megatron's Mace, etc. So with that being said wouldn't you like to see Sideswipe's Rocket pack included with the figure? Perhaps they can also make it compatible with MP-10 Optimus Prime (ie Hybrid)? If Takara doesn't do it, then some 3rd Party group may sell it in the future. Either way what do you think?

  3. While checking out the star wars madness yesterday, I found the new wave of Teen Titan Figures at Target.

    Robin & Starfire

    Menos & Wildabeest

Mas & Aqulad (New Sculpt fewer POA)

    White Raven & Cinderblock

    Bumblebee & hotspot

There was one of each, just picked up the White Raven and Cinderblock.

  4. Just wanted to let you guys know that KBs has all the regular (with the exception of 2 of the repaints) (7.99) , deluxe figures (11.99) and the huge batmboile (39.99) in NY. Some interesting notes about battle gear batman: the batarang folds in half and the line for the grappling gun is made of rubber not thread.

  5. Wave 3 Baroness was on ebay a few weeks ago for about $5 on ebay. The family Dollar price tag was on it. I passed on it and haven't seen it since. Looks sweet with the black outfit from the VVV line.

  6. Checked a couple of TRUs also and all of them had the adverrtisements posted. Initially I believe it'll be hard to find because is so damn inexpensive!!

There are certain TRU stores that have a contracted person from hasbro to deliver and stock the toy shelves. I first notice this when a person in plain street clothes was stocking the shelves with Batman and Gii Joe figures. I gotz to talk with him and he told me that he normally buys the rare figures and sells them through a secondary market, such as ebay. He mentioned that making a $5 profit was good enough for him.

I'm sure TRU in Time Square will have them this weekend. They normally stock up on the Gi Joe stuff.

  7. the snake armor battle cat is the worst thing I've ever seen. its like piranha-helmet battle cat.

If you noticed, the new Panthors don't have any 'fur' on it. I guess Mattel removed it to reduce the cost of producing the toy.

Also, if you guys didn't already know, AFX has the prospective release dates on their website for Roboto and Zodac.

  8. Found her also! It looks like TRU on the East coast finally got them in and shelved her on friday. It could mean if the TRU in Time Square received any them, that they may actually have quite a few of them.

So before packing your bags for the Labor day weekend, check your local TRUs.

  9. I think the author of the issue is trying to indicate that the sword brothers have a special bond and understanding between one another. Perhaps Storm Shadow has a master plan to dismantle Cobra from within.

I'm not sure what the writer was trying to do, but it's pretty gross when a rehash of an original idea goes extremely wrong. I remembered reading Larry Hama's silent issue and was totally blown away by it. The second silent issue where Snake eyes was captured and Storm Shadow and Scarllet sneaks their way into the Cobra Temple was also excellent and beautifully drawn. The idea of the 'silent' issues is to denote stealth and invisiblilty, and this new issue #21 simply avoids these aspects.

I'm usually not very critical about the comics cuz there's definitely alot of hardwork that goes into it, but simply put this issue is expendable.

I guess thatt's why my comic shoppe cohorts and I stopped collecting GI Joe after the 3rd issue. The only Joe Comics I collect now are the ones that come with the action figures.

  10. Check your local Kmarts for Man E Faces. There were 'man-e' Man-E-Faces at Kmart this morning. The most of any secondary figure that i've ever scene at once. THere were at least eight Man-E-Faces on the rack. All with the 'Varient' Monster face exposed.

Evil lyn's ebay run is slowing down, so you'll most likely find it soon. Once the prices starts to wane, then just wait a few seeks an they'll be warming the pegs. Last I checked, some of the ebay evil lyns didn't break $10 with a day+ remaing. But don't buy it from ebay, the seller may just steal your money.

  11. These dope-heads are just trying to get an extra buck. The best thing to do, to determine if the seller is truly a crack-addict is by emailing theseller and asking him some questions. If the response is half-assed, then just forget about it. There are some sellers that are honest and will give a frank description of the condition.

The worst sellers are the ones that refuses to sell the item when the closing bid is not what they expected. Those sellers are the scum of the universe, cuz they're too cheap to use the reserve price function.
