I agree they need double hinged joints
That's really my biggest gripe on these. Its not the weird style or the price as much as why they didn't got the extra mile and at least give us double jointed knees. To me it just doesn't make sense either.

If I could only pick one chase it would be Redskull. My favorite right now is the unmasked Wolverine from ML 12.

Check this link Halo 2 series 8 figures. Anyway Besides another chief I like the sound of the line if it is true, hopefully the heretic elite leader will come with the oracle that would rock and the Jackal was one of the most anticipated figures. I am figuring that commander elite means Half Jaw which is awesome because not only is he one of the coolest characters but it is also my slayer elite's color. Time will tell though but it probably explains the long time it is taking Joyride to update their website because series 6 has been out a while now.
That whole wave sounds good. After I see it I may just order a case of them. Last time I did that though TRU had a big sale and I got them for about 25% off. That's the worst thing about ordering anything online. Returns are near impossible.

Cool man, I want another Ionic Wonderman to open up. That Logan is great too by the way. I wish the regular one had that hat.
-
My HT finally put them on clearance. I got all but Guile and Balrog. I have an extra Guile coming though so if I can find a Balrog I will have a moc set.

OK guys, a chase piece is a figure that does not come in every case. Clam listed them all in his first post (and maybe some extra variants). The other are not chases no matter how rare we think they are because they were in every case.
Also Purple X-23 is not a chase since she has not come out in the US. Whereas Black x-23 is the chase in Canada ect. ect. So she's a variant but not a chase.
Also, here is a point on which I am uncertain. Did the WM cases all have Stealth IM, Shirted Hulk and Trenchcoat Thing? I know I saw a gang of Thing and Hulk in a lot of cases.
I would consider them variants and not chase pieces (to be technical) if they did.
They are called chases I guess since you are supposed to chase them down.
Hope my being anal on the matter helps someone out there with their toy nerd lingo. @smilepunch@

Gamestop has them at $7 if your HT does not.
No other store has there Sota SF for as much as HT. They do a speedy import on there toys to get them in first. Then they jack the prices up usually $5 above everyone elses retail.
My store did not have the SF Guile series on sale so their clearance is based on a store by store deal.
Incidently, I have been able to find all of these on clearance except for the first wave and the SDCC set.

I want 2 of each Skrull and 2 Torches and that's it until clearance. They maybe I'll get the others.

Joyride is a minimalistic company, they try and squeeze as much as possible out of the littlest effort.
I hope that bungie dosen't let them have the rights to the movie figures and such, maybe then we will see some truely amazing figures and detail.
Joyride is very different but I have yet to be dissapointed with any of the Halo figures they have made. The vehicles in the smaller scale are all great. The figures are well articulated. What is the gripe besides the high price?

I hope Avalanche is comic accurate.
JOhnny
Considering only the rehashes (Storm, Gambit and Archangel) barely pass for such, I seriously doubt we will see anything remotely related to the comics or the movie. TB just played make up an X-men day at the drawing board.
I'm not saying I don't like them. They just don't make sense to me.

Why does he have a camera connected to his arm? Magento needs no camer when he has powers over magnetism. Really, it looks nice and with a few touch ups it could be a great figure.
That dumb arm lense, camera laser thingie has gotta go though.

im not digging the boots either, he seems alot shorter than i expected too
top half of the anakin looks good the bottom crap
clones awesome
and i want more obi wans for customs so ill get a few
The pics look great.
About the Obi's I ran into a load of the twins sets today at a WM. Then another WM had two Obi Pilots. All were 3 a piece so I have made a Neimodian Jedi and an Obi disquised as an imperial officer. That pilot fig is just so great for a SW figure.

Dark Phoenix, Phasing Ghost Rider, Wendigo (AKA Snowbird as Sasquatch), Toad on card Gold and Stealth Iron Man, Brown Cable and a loose first unmasked Wolverine are all of the ones for which I am looking.

WOw!
in Transformers
If I already didn't have the real one, I would want this one.

But we're not going to get it are we??? The deal is set with Hasbro??
To be completely sarcastic and teasing--the deal is set RETROACTIVELY back to ML 1--thus all our ML's now are belong to Hasbro. And always do have.
Uuum zig.

OK scratch that. I just opened beast Boy up and he's 100 times better. I don't know what it is seeing they are the same scale, but BB feels much sturdier than the Robin. He doesn't seem frail at all. I guess I picked up a bad Robin.
PJ
I think I got a bad Robin too then. He isn't as good as BB. BB is just so near flawless. I am tempted to get a second set of these to keep MIMB. Cybrog is the best Cyborg ever made by far. His head lights up. Nuff said.
I found the 3 inchers Tuesday. They absolutely rock too. The only improvement could be ball jointed shoulders and make them in scale. The Raven and the Starfire are so much better imo than the others we have seen. Scale is still to the wind, so I didn't even pick up the repack Cyborg with armor.
-
You are talking about the best Wolverine to date imo. Albeit he always does sell. Even if its for the kiddies, I say keep making more Logans.

10 here.

Skrulls and Jonny for me. I like the little alien dude.

I'm not that big into TFs but I saw those new figures that were a little smaller than the starscream, there was a Prime and a Megatron... they were like $10 at Meijer, I was thinking about getting the Prime cause he looked cool... is he worth it? anyone know where I can see some cool up close pics of him out of the box?
sorry, didn't think it needed a new thread lol
Joe, that Prime is one of the best IMO. I bought it a couple of months ago and was really, really impressed. If you can get it for $10 i would definately do it. If I could I would get extras. I would definately pay $10 plus shipping for Prim or Megatron.

Man I really like that Lowlight. I may even try it with a Duke body and a TR head. But would the swap be easy?
-
I opened my Scarecrow the other night. He was a nightmare. The articulation is there and its great. It just doesn't work.
I had to fix both feet with the plastic tie trick because they were so loose. I mean literally just dangling there.
Bats and Croc were alright but not worth $10 by any stretch. I have high hopes for this line and basically just got them so they wouldn't be my Toad.

Supreme-d has a good point with the scale issue. ML is not truly on scale. The only company that I know of to get scale right consistently in 4 lines is Sota.
At least in the 80's everything was the same size, therefore making scale a moot issue. Now with different designers working throughoutscale is off badly.
IMO the 6" line will last for a while, but if we live long enough we will see the day of its demise. 12" will stick around in some way (its the oldest) and the 3-4" scale works with vehicles and the like.

They wouldn't look so good in vehicle form if they changed them too much. Notice how everything is packed in tightly. I have to give Hasbro's?Takara's designers the credit here. The Alts all work great.

My favorite character was Prime. I would have to go with Tripticon for toy, but if you mean the first release of toys, I'm on the soundwave wagon too.
