  1. I can't think of a POP figure besides a villain that I want. Most of why I did not get a sub for 2013 is because of the lackluster lineup. Sure I want Jitsu and Ram Man but that's it so far from what's been shown.
  2. First off, the 3D thing is NOT true. Come on, I mean what a lame excuse. They didn't know 3D was a big deal after Avatar? The Avengers is the real reason. Avengers rocked and they want GI Joe to do the same thing. Who cares about Battleship? It's a stupid concept anyway. A movie about a board game? I think seeing it flop did raise some eyebrows. If Hasbro did not have their say, I smell a lawsuit. They missed the boat. I'm bummed now. The only thing worse than this movie wise would be if Hobbit or Dark Knight were postponed. The buzz is dead now and all of cash spent on promoting is gone.
  3. Now my favorite Marvel movie. Hulk and Stark were wonderful throughout. I don't understand Hawkeye's point. Widow was good but a little out of the loop. I guess it makes sense if she works for SHIELD.
  4. Skylanders. The combo of toys and video games makes it the perfect combination. Plus, the main baddie is voiced by Invader Zim! Runners up: Zelda and Batman.
  5. Thanks for this post! I've been looking for Quick Kick.
  6. I can confirm that they are on sale regardless of the tag on the shelf. The toy lead at my WM told me these are not store markdowns but WM markdowns. Most stores do NOT have them marked yet.
  7. Hello everyone. I'm back. May be posting a bit. Been lurking but not posting as much. Take care.

  8. Walking Dead Thundercats Batman: The Brave and The Bold Star Wars: Clone Wars
  9. Well, I just got an ebay lot of all of the Matty GB figures so far. Great deal at $80. Also ordered two of the new GB Minimates sets from TRU. They should be here next week around Wed. or Thursday.
  10. I too really like the Jungle Viper. I wish the arm pegs were removable but I liked it enough to get three. Two open one on card.
  11. Found the ROTS Wave at WM. Everyone was there and I got Greivous, Sidious (Foil), Cody, Bespin Luke (Foil), Sandtrooper (foil), Clone Trooper (Foil and regular), Magna Guard, Anakin and Boba (Foil)
  12. 66 Batmobile, Super Powers and Batman Animated Series for third place imo. DS
  13. This is all opinion of course. As far as greatest I think the clear choices are the Beatles, Led Zeppelin and the Rolling Stones. My choice is the Beatles because they have per album more Great songs. Each album is a new thing and a new experience. My favorite is the White Album butt he best overall is Sgt. Peppers. Also, there wouldn't be the other bands without the Beatles. Just like there wouldn't be Rock n Roll without Elvis.
  14. FF XIII, Bioshock 2, Ultimate Muscle (Gamecube Game on the Wii) and Lego Star Wars, Batman and Indiana Jones. DS
  15. Very well written and right on. The point is well made, Mattel needs to do better and keep its fans in mind. The collector community is big and can take its business to HASBRO, who had all of their exclusives available online after the Con. (OK, the Stormtrooper sold out and came back in stock, but you get my point.) DS
  16. Just saw this. Thanks, I'm going to have a friend check Meijer for me. I always pronounce it Mee-eh-jer when I spell it.
  17. Two things: I say better luck next year. The only reason I got my non-attendee SSC Luke and Han Stormtrooper set was because somebody cancelled their pre-order. It sold out in less than five minutes. I was online at the site at 12:56 chompin' at the bit. Life ain't fair so get over it. I also say shut the hell up because some of us aren't even lucky enough to get out there. Be happy you get to enjoy the experience and stop crying because you didn't get your glorified accessory. why do you even reply on here jerk? actually they were sold out on fri and wouldnt even give any passes out yet. ive always liked mattel and gave them the benenfit of the doubt but now i can no longer say "they are trying the best they can". not to have the exclusives even to last a weekend?!?!? cmon, thats horrendous... This is a funny fight. Why come to an obviously anti-Matty forum and complain about the complaining? Don't get me wrong, I am against the BS Mattel did, but why not start a thread about how great it would be to go to the con instead of just bashing people who have a fair reason to be mad?
  18. Wave one and two have been found at retail but no Jazz yet.
  19. Picked up Snake Eyes with the Backpack Hole and Same Color hood and body CC at Target.
  20. Nice list. A cobra one would be nice too. I like lists, everyone does.
  21. Hey man, A couple of things to look our for on vintage figures: Paint (obviously) A lot of them are scuffed (especially the original He-Man). The Rubber Band you are talking about is in their legs. If the band is loose the figure will not stand unassisted. You could replace the bands in theory, but it would take a lot of work and hunting to find them I think. They are not easy like Joes. Loose Arms Some of the figures have loose arm joints. This is pretty easy to fix with the superglue trick. Just glue shoulder joint after taking the arm off. Let it dry and put the arm back on the figure. Most of the time the loose joint will be OK. Repeated use just builds up the joint to make it tighter. For open figures you will only notice that the rereleases are nicer in paint and tightness. Feel free to PM me if you have any specific questions.
  22. They are OK. Call and complain when they mess up on you. DO NOT settle for the drone on the Phone. Speak to a supervisor.
  23. Same here. This was put out after my WM did their reset well over a month ago.
