  1. I can't wait to see them. They sound like everything I've wanted to see since I got back into TFs in '97.
  2. I *hate* that Viper mold with its tiny head. The coolest things this set has going for it are the Interragator and the Cobra symbol handcuff background. I'll wait to see who the characters are before I cast my final vote.
  3. I cant help but laugh at this part
  4. Looks cool, I think sanding the candy cane stripes off her legs would help the overall look too.
  5. He looks great. Is it possible that a talented kitbashed might give him outward shoulder rotation?
  6. Meh, its too early to snag these for cheap. By next Christmas you will be able to get these for next to nothing. Target really needs to have a sale on Deluxes though, I might actually pick up a Landmine if it was $6.
  7. Boy did that set tank. Shame, it was a nice idea, but badly carried out.
  8. Seeing that really makes me regret buying the actual Shockblast. Great work!
  9. Those really look great, I love the Frag Viper! Very clean paint apps.
  10. What a shame. I would told him to keep them and tell the manager the kid cost the store a sale.
  11. Update: I had to drive a bit for mine, but I got it! I tried to buy two, but the orange tag sale is over. If there is another special, I will go back for another. Sideswipe (aside from Jazz) was my favorite car from G1, I was so happy to bring his reissue home with me!
  12. Great review. I wonder if a lot of vintage Mirages still have bits of play-doh caked in their nooks and crannies? Just curious if kids actually used that feature. I quite like the first 2002 Mirage, too bad his dumb crotch snapped as soon as I moved one of his legs. If anyone here has 40+ mirages and can spare a waist piece, I'd sure love to trade a piece for it!
  13. O-rings are *NOT* necessary. Dont let nostalgia cloud your judgement. They were a clever, cost effective idea back in 1982, which set them apart from Star Wars figures, their only competition. With today's manufacturing technology, they can do better. Non O-ringed Joes dont fly today simply because so many were released with the o-ring, they wouldnt fit, ie the t-crotch bunch.
  14. I hope to find just one. And please don't defend the idea of putting one on Ebay with a $70 BIN.
  15. Very nice work, and truly highlights the overall crappiness of the DTC version. Great job!
  16. This is old news, it was all over the Transformers boards almost a month ago. I got the last Ricochet there for 7.99 (take THAT TRU!). It sounds like they may have gotten a fresh shipment of Joes in, I'll have to take another trip.
  17. These look fantastic. Put em up to order already Hasbro! And that Grnad Slam head will make a dandy custom Clutch. Hell, I'm army building GS for various customs. Now get the VV Torch mold out in Wave 4 please!
  18. Your argument for lack of swivels doesnt hold much water. It was a cost cutting measure, it could have been done but just wasn't. No matter, these BATs would still kinda suck with them. As for the BAT attack, I have to agree with Royal that the colors kinda wreck it. Plus we only get 3 new molds in the set. With those two strikes against it, I dont see myself ordering it.
  19. Damn, I'm glad I waited. Wave 2 here I come!
  20. I liked the figure before, and I like it more now. I'll be happy to order the case and might get some more of these from folks who order cases and don't want them.
  21. Ver nice. Way better then either of Hasbro's attempts so far.
  22. Wave 3. None are perfect, but I never liked comic accurate colors.
  23. Cobra command thats a great custom. Pardon my ignorance but what torso did you use?
  24. I like this wave a lot and this is the first set where I will order a full case. I cant believe all the complaining. I just hope that if LowLight uses W7 SE's arms, that they fixed the hands. Doesnt look like it though.
